Bellatrix left Logan, after much taunting and teasing. Even with as exciting as the day was she could always find entertainment in making fun of that buffoon. She laughed to herself as she moved again through the chaos. Most of the buildings now were either on fire or had collapsed into themselves from other hexes and spells. The bars seemed to be intact, which was something to ponder in itself. The subconscious urge for a celebratory drink afterward had to be the reason for that.
Bellatrix came upon two older students, Alice Prewett and her "friend" Frank Longbottom. The two were bothersome when Bellatrix attended Hogwarts, she imagined that they had only gotten worse. It would be fun to mess with them. Bellatrix sent a warning flare straight for them. A bright bolt of fiery sparks shot right between them.

Alice jumped as the new arrival fired a bolt of sparks between Frank and herself. "Frank, are you OK?" she called, looking over at him quickly before pointing her wand at the death eater. She could tell by the person's slender frame that it was a female, and she frowned involuntarily. She was used to thinking of death eaters as being male... surely most women were more sensible than that?
She swallowed nervously, then said in a loud, clear voice, "Expelliarmus!"

Frank was wrapped up in getting the death eaters away from Honeydukes. He was doing whatever he could to keep them away. He didn't want to kill them, but just injure them enough so they would stop coming toward them.
He was throwing spells left and right at the death eaters as he fought along beside Alice. With her by his side, he felt a little stronger, like he could do just about anything. The Death Eater he was currently fighting seemed to be backing off.
However, his luck did change. A spell fired just narrowly missed him. Frank looked to Alice to check on her. "I'm fine," he said before firing another spell in the direction of another death eater. He was going to help Alice against the current death eater that she was fighting, but at the moment, he was tied up trying to protect his self as he threw a body binding curse as one of the death eaters tried to attack him again.

Kingsley danced around as more and more death eaters seemed to appear. Marlene and himself along with the rest of their group of friends had decided to protect the students as they exited through Honeydukes. Grinning, his wand flew through the air around him as he blocked spells and sent his own towards the oncoming death eaters.
They had prepared and trained for this moment and now it was time to see if they really had what it takes. As Kingsley unleashed a Stunning Charm and dropped a death eater, he heard Marlene's voice calling his name. Twirling to face the oncoming threat, he jabbed his wand towards the red bolt of light, "Protego!" As the spell dissolved against his shield, he smiled at Marlene, "Thanks babe, I owe ya one." Turning back to face the death eaters, he was confident they could handle whatever came against them.

Alice was more skiddish than her counterpart, who seemed too busy with another Death Eater (who, Bellatrix couldn't tell) to play. That was a little off putting, but Alice was up for the game. Her loud announcement of her spell made it easy to block. "Nice try brat." Bellatrix sent a shocking spell at the brunette, followed immediately by a ball of bright red fire.

Alice was relieved to see that Frank was unharmed, so she turned her attention to the death eater. She was disappointed that her first spell had failed, and prepared to send another. But the death eater fired first.
Alice easily dodged the first spell, but missed the the second. It clipped her on the shoulder, igniting the sleeve of her robe. She let out a cry and hit the ground, rolling in the dirt as she had been taught. Then she aimed a quick blasting spell at the death eater, hoping to knock her back.

He'd had one objective; one target... and he hadn't seen a sign of him. It irked him to no end. So when he came upon the little barricade at Honeydukes that blocked him from getting to the other side of town, Blake was more than a little annoyed. Through his mask, he eyed the children blocking the way. Two girls, tiny and weak... and one boy. He decided to aim for the boy. At least there was a challenge there. He jabbed his wand at the boy and sent a blasting spell towards him.

As Alice's sleeve ignited, Bellatrix let out a loud cackle. The girl was rolling around on the street like a dog with an itch, and when she had put out the fire there was a large hole on the shoulder of her robes. She looked even more pathetic than usual. Bellatrix was too busy laughing at her to block the blasting spell, which hit her side and sent her spinning backwards until she fell in the street. Her robes were covered with dirt as she stood up and pointed her wand angrily at Alice. "That wasn't very smart of you, Prewett." She sent the cruciatus curse at the girl. It was the first time but it certainly wouldn't be the last.

Alyx saw the whole thing, she was watching and trying to make her way to help. Alyx greatly admired Alice the Gryffindor champion. Alice always seemed so in control and she seemed to know who she was as opposed to Alyx who still didn't have a clue. She had managed to evade the others, she wasn't just going to leave those who needed help, not that she was sure what help she could be, she was going to try. When she got close enough she knew she had only one shot that would be a surprise then Bella would know where she was at and would return fire but hopefully it would give Alice time to recover and Frank to help her.
"Avis!"
As the birds came flocking out of her wand she smiled and her eyes narrowed, "Oppugno" one by one and quickly at that the birds all began to attack Bella, hopefully obscuring her view and disrupting her balance. Alyx made a run for it still staying relatively behind objects, hoping to get a new hiding location.

Alice was so distracted by the fact that the death eater had called her by name that she was unable to react in time to block the curse. It struck her full on. Immediately she was gripped with terrible, excruciating pain. Her body hit the street and began to twitch and shake wildly, while an agonized cry tore from her throat. She had never felt anything so painful, and she just wanted it to stop.
"Please..."

Bellatrix barely got to enjoy watching Alice writhe in pain as her curse connected. She was quickly surrounded by pecking birds that seemingly came out of no where. Bellatrix couldn't even look to see which directions the birds had come from. Her robes were being pecked and plucked from every angle, the only thing keeping her face from harm was the white mask she donned. She used her flame curse to set the bird on fire and the creatures quickly left her alone, twitching and flapping as the flames ate at their bodies. Robes trimmed in Gryffindor red dashed between two large chunks of concrete.
Bellatrix rose, more furious than ever. The thing she enjoyed most, watching the pain she caused, was taken away from her. Some ignorantly brave Gryffindor had decided to save Alice, but it wouldn't be enough. Bellatrix raised her wand, her dark sleeves now torn with specks of blood. She cast a strong fire spell, one which made a ring of bright orange that encircled the area, Bellatrix, Alice, and the unknown Gryffindor. The flames licked at anything that crossed their border and torched the nearby buildings. "So you have a friend, Prewett. That's unfortunate."

Frank was finishing up throwing a full body binding curse as he heard a woman come up. He knew that Alice was beside him, and she would be just fine for a few more minutes because another deatheater came up and he tried his best to push them away.
Once he cast the electric shock and a few others, Frank turned just as he heard the woman cast the cruciatus curse. "No," he yelled as the curse hit Alice. Anger built even more in him as he saw Alice in pain. "Leave her alone!" Frank cast a few curses right after the other hoping that at least one of them would hit the death eater.

Alyx found a new spot to hide but as the flames went up she froze, she wasn't a fan of fire and long robes, quickly she discarded her own robe opting for the jeans and black top she wore no muss no fuss, she pulled her hair back and tightened it into a ponytail. Her heart was racing as she kept eyes on everyone. She was nervous about the Death eater, terrified to her toes would be more accurate but at the same time she was almost pulled in by the adrenaline. Quickly she searched for another curse, "Incarcerous!"

Who was this person and why did she keep calling Alice by her name? She was already feeling weak from the curse, but the death eater's repeated insistence on calling her by name threw Alice off even more. She shivered violently from the ground, staring over at the masked figure. The flames leapt up, surrounding them and filling the area with heat. She couldn't even see Frank from where she was now.
Pointing her wand at the death eater, she managed a shaky, "Furnunculus!"

Smiling at Marlene, Kingsley turned back to face the oncoming Death Eaters. As spells flew everywhere, Kingsley's wand continued it's snake like dance through the air in front of him, throwing up shields and launching counterspells, he began to wonder if it would ever stop. Noticing a new arrival to the death eaters, he was barely able to throw a shield up before the blasting spell tore into it. Whipping his wand towards the death eater, a gout of flame flew toward his target.

Blake scowled as the blasting spell was deflected, and a new curse was sent in his direction. With an almost lazy wave of his wand, Blake uttered, "Reverso," sending the spell back at Kingsley. He followed that quickly with Inefficax, another curse that would weaken his opponent. The slow moving spell was often overlooked, but would prevent the boy from casting effective spells.

The world seemed to slow down, he watched in silent horror as Grace slowly began to die, he could see the life fading from her body. Turning towards the masked figure who had committed this horrible act. Overcome with rage, his vision turned red and he had become something more than Alastor Moody, he was death and he would end the reign of this death eater once and for all. Forgetting the rules he was sworn to obey as an Auror, his mind began to silently scan through the spells of death he had learned over the years of chasing dark wizards. Finally deciding it was always best to use a proven classic, his wand jabbed forward in a lightning fast motion, "Avada Kedavra," the words that followed seemed to echo in the silent air for a few moments as the spell flew towards the death eater. Claudia was truly in her element. Death and destruction and violence were all around her and it was so exciting it was almost a spiritual experience to her. This was her religion, doing the work of her Lord Voldemort. She turned a corner and spotted the "great" auror, Alastor Moody, standing over the body of a death eater he had clearly just killed. Her eyes narrowed. Death was one thing, but she couldn't very well allow the git to kill one of her own. With a primal yell, she pointed her wand at him and sent a violent blasting spell right at him.

Frank's attempts to save his girlfriend were practically useless from the other side of the fire barrier. Though the colors produced from the combination of flame and magic was quite pretty. Even if he had been closer where his spells would have had an affect he wouldn't have been anything to worry about. Bellatrix would have handled him easily enough.
The ones he did need to worry about were Alice and Alyx, a younger girl she had only heard of when in school. They both fired spells at her at the same time from different directions, making it hard to block them both. Her shield charm went up in time to deflect Alice's curse, but that her open to the ropes that flew from Alyx's wand. The ropes wrapped themselves tightly around Bellatrix's body. The sudden lack of movement threw off her balance and Bellatrix fell to the ground. "You bloody..." Bellatrix wove a tapestry of swear words that the girls certainly had never heard before. Bellatrix twisted and turned, attempting to gain enough room in the ropes to move her wrist and free herself with her wand. It was a difficult feat.

Alastor looked up just in time to see another slender death eater enter the fray. Throwing his wand up, he barely blocked the incoming spell. The pain of losing Grace, was pushed to the back of his mind and he prepared himself for more death. Whether it be this death eaters or this own, Alastor was out for blood and he would get it, one way or the other.
Snarling in response, he sent a shocking spell towards the new death eater, watching as his spell made it's way toward his target.

Kingsley watched as the death eater sent his own spell back onto him, casually waving his wand the spell dispersed against his shield. Preparing a counterattack he didnt notice the second spell that slammed directly into his chest. A quick moment of nausea swept over him as he was knocked back a couple steps and felt himself weakened, gripping his wand tightly he threw a Stunning Charm towards the death eater, watching as his spell was much weaker than it should of been normally.
