Post by Claudia Morley on Dec 11, 2008 13:43:11 GMT -5
Claudia's excitement was almost a physical entity. The chance to enact massive violence and destruction in her Lord's name was a thrilling thing for her. She wanted to watch the whiny little brats scream in fear and writhe in agony. And all the waiting had made her impatient and thirsty for blood as any vampire would have been.
She summoned the death eaters to meet her at a secret location just outside of town. When the time was right, they would strike. And no one would soon forget the name of Lord Voldemort.

Jordan apparated quickly as Claudia summoned. Today was going to be the day that they put great fear into the wizarding world and let everyone know that Lord Voldemort was truly there. The attack was going to be fun and Jordan couldn't wait to get started. The attacks on the muggles were just a beginning. Now, seeing these people scream and run around was going to be highly amusing.
As he appeared, he gave a nod to Claudia and awaited for the others to arrive.

Post by Lucius Malfoy on Dec 11, 2008 16:36:22 GMT -5
Lucius arrived early as well. He didn't trust Claudia, and he wanted to be there to keep a close eye on her. He knew that Bella would likely do the same.
For Lucius, the death and destruction wasn't such a big draw for him. Certainly, he could appreciate the importance of ridding the wizarding world of a few inferiors, and a little mayhem was entertaining. But what Lucius craved most of all was power. Siding with Lord Voldemort was mostly about being on the side with the power and hopefully changing some of the things he felt were wrong with the world.
And if a few people had to die to make that happen, then so be it.

Antonin decided to arrive to the battle early, the Master had placed the upstart Claudia Morley in charge of the battle and Dolohov thought she was about as capable as a rock. Appearing by the small group that had already gathered, Antonin noticed that Lucius Malfoy was the only one there he considered worth anything, hoping Black and a few of the more capable ones would arrive for this event, he nodded towards Malfoy and stood awaiting the arrival of the others.

Edmund arrived at the meeting spot, his mind focused on the task at hand. Now was not the time to be distracted by thoughts of Claire. Of course, he knew he would see her here, but he was determined not to let that get to him. His master was counting on him.
He kept his hood ready as he stood back and nodded at the other death eaters. There was no conversation.

Once again, Claire had stayed in her apartment. She didn't have any reason to go out, but today she did. Today they were going to pull off an attack on Hogsmeade. She wasn't big on attacking children, but it was what the Dark Lord wanted and she had to oblige. Claire cleared her mind of anything that could distract her.
She pinned her hair back carefully so that none of it would show through her hood. Claire apparated to where Claudia and the others were. She stood on the opposite end that Edmund was standing on and waited until any kind of orders were given.

Having that idiot woman Claudia in charge of this attack had made the anger inside Bellatrix boil, and it came to a head when she received the summons to apparate to Hogsmeade. If she had been summoned by her master, her need for bloodshed might have been diminished. But it was Morley who called, and it was blood Bellatrix wanted because of it. She collected her things in a furious rage; her wand, her mask, and the necklace Lord Voldemort had given to her. It was only the love she felt for her master that kept the dainty chain from shattering under Bellatrix's crazed hands. She found her black cloak and threw it around her and she left her flat. She apparated to the meeting spot.
Most of the ones who had already arrived, Bellatrix thought capable enough. She didn't know much about Jordan Laughridge, but as a rule she generally disliked any newcomer that she did not personally introduce to the Dark Lord. She ignored him. Instead she looked over Edmund, then Antonin, then Claire. She might have smiled at them had she not been fighting the urge to kill something. Her eyes finally landed on Lucius, her future partner in crime. "Quiet bunch," she said through tight lips, her curly brown hair flying in the wind like a mad woman. She never once looked at Claudia Morley. The hag didn't deserve it.

Alec received the summons to appear at the pre-arranged meeting site and he immediately dropped everything else he was doing. Gathering up his cloak, hood, and mask, he quickly apparated to the location and approached the group, a wicked smile on his face.
Glancing at Jordan, who he knew well, he nodded quietly, but didn't speak.

Jarrod was excited when he received the summons. This was going to be his first official act as a death eater, and it was a vicious, violent attack. What could be better? He quickly grabbed his things and apparated to the meeting spot. As he got there, he noticed that his father was not there yet, so he stood in the back and waited quietly.

Samuel stopped what he was doing and put on his cloak and grabbed his mask. Working at the school wasn't really getting him anywhere, but he was keeping an eye on the students as well as keeping an ear out. He straightened his cloak out and apparated to their meeting spot.
He appeared next to Claire and looked around the circle.

Tristan was at the hospital when the summons came. But he didn't let that stop him. He excused himself and left right away, heading to his locker. This was where he kept his hood and mask. He stuffed them into a duffel bag and quickly hurried out of the building. Once outside, he apparated to the meeting spot. Quietly, he nodded to Claire and scowled at Edmund.

Yasmina got the summons and immediately went about trying to find her hood and mask. As usual, she had forgotten where she had put them, so she had to tear her place apart in her search. It took her about 15 minutes to find them, but finally she did. Then she apparated, nearly splinching herself in the process, and ended up at the wrong location.
Eventually she arrived at the meeting site and walked over to stand next to Samuel.

Ursula received the summons with little pleasure. Although she did enjoy a little violence and mayhem once in a while, the murdering of children seemed terribly wrong to her. Still, she had her orders and she would not disobey. But if she carried them out with a little less enthusiasm than others did, who would notice?
She arrived at the gathering, hood and mask in hand, but did not acknowledge the others.

Post by Augustus Rookwood on Dec 15, 2008 16:40:06 GMT -5
"Everyone's a little morose today," Augustus commented as he came to the meeting place. To him, that electrical charge was in the air again, that excitement that something big was taking place and he got to be a part of it. He never understood how everyone else seemed to take these things so seriously. They should enjoy the thrill of their victim's terror.
It wasn't his concern, ultimately, but he wondered about the loyalty of a DE who seemed nervous or reluctant to go on a mission.

Post by Jadon Burke on Dec 15, 2008 16:50:32 GMT -5
Jadon felt like he was sneaking out when he came to the spot. His parents were home with the girls, and his aunts and uncles were home with their children too. He was given conflicting messages, and in the end, he probably should have stayed home. Merlin knew how upset his sisters would be if he was hurt, or killed. But they were safe, and he wanted a Burke name present.
He took his space quietly, glancing at Rookwood as he made his comment. Death tended to be morose, yes.
He would have never been a part of it if his sisters had been here. But now, why not?

Tanya was positively glowing with excitement. She was prepared for hours of torture and screaming and pain... on others, of course, never herself. She was itching to go, and if she didn't have the control of a saint (or a well practiced sinner), she would have been bouncing in place.
She wished everyone would hurry up who was going to be here. She wanted to get this started.

Lyle was prompt, arriving to the secret spot. He seemed like a regular businessman about to make a trade, and was quiet while they waited.
He looked around for his son, and a proud smile set on his lips when he spotted Jarrod. Coming over, he stood by his son.

It had been tricky for Rabastan to figure out how to get to there beforethe other students had left Hogwarts, and he felt somewhat accomplished when he managed to sneak out. The teachers were fools... there were so many Death Eaters in that school it was ridiculous. And Dumbledore had no idea.
He grinned, but kept himself in check as he joined the other DE's.

Post by Bellatrix Black on Dec 15, 2008 20:21:03 GMT -5
Bellatrix watched as the others arrived, mostly silent. She still had not so much as glanced at Claudia, as childish as she knew she was being. It was hard for Bellatrix to admit that the woman might have actually earned the position to lead the attack. Even if she knew the old bag didn't deserve it, she would never question her master, her love.
Augustus made a smart remark as he arrived and Bellatrix noticed a few of the others look at him. She cackled. "I can't imagine why." If it hadn't been for Claudia, Bellatrix would have been bouncing on her heels awaiting the start of the fun. She was still excited but her excitement was masked by an evil glare.
Rabastan arrived, making Logan the last of the smaller group to arrive. She hoped her angry conversation a few days before did not suddenly make sense to him. She had not meant to give so much away, it was a mixture of her fury at his newly found ego and the alcohol that allowed her to nearly spill the Dark Lord's secret. Or, at least one of them.

Everyone seemed a little too somber on the day of such an exciting event. Caleb almost fell over himself trying to leave once he had received the summons. At arriving in the circle his mood dropped, matching the dark air around him. He had thought this was going to be fun, and despite the current lack of enthusiasm he found in the group, he still hoped it would.
