Justin had come into town unexpectedly finishing with his last assignment early. When he heard through the rumor mill that of all people, Alastor Moody had been chosen as one of the judges for the school's little tournament. It made him want to laugh. Ever since the little skirmish at the Aisle of Skye, he'd been looking for Moody. Not that he hadn't been looking for him before. The man was the same made who'd almost killed him a year ago. Thank goodness for his Aunt Tanya, he only had a scar to show for it.
He'd been masked of course and Moody wouldn't know who he was on sight, but his hatred for the man burned inside of him. The only pleasure he'd gotten was the fact that he'd managed to injure the man a little, though it wasn't near as much as he would have liked to have done to him. His own feeling of revenge however was his undoing however, something he didn't realize of course. He was a very efficient killer, but his own hatred of the man tended to cloud his judgement and caused him to make mistakes which only made him hate the man more.
He'd also of course heard that there was going to be a Yule Ball for the students and he'd wondered if he could convince his sister to let him be her date. His reason of course had more to do with getting into the castle for the evening, but he loved seeing his sister anyways and it was kind of a bonus deal in his eyes. He was very suave by nature, though he had no official job he could publicly claim other than the fact that he lived on his father's money. His hobby of collecting artifacts, however, gave him excuse to run off when he needed without anyone suspecting him. For all intence and purposes he was an essentric young collector of old things with nothing else to do but live on his family's money and seduce young women.
He'd sent an owl late last night to his sister to let him know to meet him here today, and he stood casually in the Entrance Hall waiting for her to arrive. He hoped she didn't already have some young boy with a date for her little ball. He wanted an excuse to see his sister as well as an excuse to be in the school for an evening.

You're not a student. Natasha thought inwardly, he was too old for one, and he carried himself like an adult would, still he was too young to carry himself as he was, as if he had been born with some sort of dangerous elegance embedded into his frame. Still the elite were often distinguished by their royalty manners of haughtiness and high breeding and she was no different really so based upon what she knew from herself this man had been born to privilege.
It wasn't just the fancy robes which were subtle and made her lips twitch for a smile, he wasn't ostentatious, he had wealth and you couldn't doubt it by looking at him, but it wasn't as if he had an offensive neon sign above his head that said as much. Some society matrons were not so suave wearing gaudy bits of jewelry with rubies the size of fists it was absolutely ridiculous.
Not this man, he exuded, wealth, power, danger, and darkly good looks that said he probably could have any woman he wanted. She shook her head before plastering a fake smile to her face as she approached him.
"May I help you?"

((Why am I not surprised you'd find this, Natasha? LOL))
Justin looked at the girl who had asked him if he needed help, he noted her uniform robes and the green slytherin emblem. Of course, he'd spent his time in his years at Hogwarts within the house of Slytherin and she looked not too much younger than himself. Likely a sixth or seventh year, but sometimes girls looked older than they were... especially Slytherin girls in his experience.
Justin considered ignoring the girl but he had nothing better to do while he waited for his sister to show up. The girl was pretty, but she was still a girl and he admitedly had known women more experienced and beautiful. And although he admited he liked younger women, he also preferred experience. He lifted an amused eyebrow at the girl's boldness to aproach a strange dark man in the hall as he answered, "I was just waiting for someone."

(lol cause I scan the entire board every five minutes looking for *somewhere* to post)
Her smile didn't waver even though he said he was waiting for someone, "Do they know you're here?" she inquired softly with a proper amount of demureness to her countenance.
So he was waiting for someone. He was too young to be visiting a child at the school, and too old to be expecting a girlfriend, a fiance perhaps, considering parents didn't care to whom they betrothed their innocent daughters to as long as a profit could be made.
The snow job she had perfected over the years really was oscar worthy as she looked bright clean and wholesome, and as if to explain her slytherin coloroing was the fact that she was an ambitious student. She could quite easily be called one of the nicest slytherins you'd ever meet assuming you never got underneath the surface.

"Now why would I be just standing here twiddling my thumbs if I wasn't expected?" He was a sarcastic fellow when he thought he was facing someone who obviously had no common sense. She might be an ambitious Slytherin, look like a proper rich debutante but she was obviously an idiot. Of course someone was expecting him, he wasn't about to just sit and wait here for no good reason just in case someone happend to find him. He rolled his eyes inwardly.

"I apologize for being unclear, I was asking whether or not the person who was expecting you, knew that you were here yet." she returned. Someone had a stick up their arse.
"I, of course, wouldn't insult *your* intelligence by asking whether or not I believed in telepathic connection to alert them to your presence."
It was all spoken in the softest, and sweetest tone imaginable, but it was a set down for setting her down.

Gwen had been thrilled when she received an owl from her brother the night before, and she knew she was expected about... five minutes ago. One of her classes had let out late, and she was rushing down the halls to get to the main entrance.
When she saw him, she skipped the last few steps two at a time and ran to him, completely ignoring the girl that was chatting her brother up. She didn't even notice her.
"Justin!" She said running towards him and jumping into her brothers arms, throwing her arms around him. She didn't care if this was girly or childish, it was her brothe and she hadn't seen him in ages.

"For all you know sweetheart, I might have a telepathic connection to the person I'm waiting for. But I'm pretty sure when a lady is given a time to meet they are inevitably late as expected." He knew his sister was likely taking her time getting ready, not much had changed in the last few years since he'd moved out of the house. Well he hadn't completely moved out, he just didnt' stay there as often unless he was in town. He didn't have a place of his own really, he was too much of a nomad to settle down anywhere and his parents home served him well enough when he needed a place to recover or hang low.
Then he saw Gwen and his entire demenor changed and a smile broke onto his lips. He picked her up easily and swung her around in a hug and even kissed her cheek. "Heya Poppet, I missed you." He hugged her tightly before setting her back down to her feet. He completely forgot about the girl who'd been there.

"Oh, I missed you, too!" She replied, still holding on to him for a moment after he set her down. She finally pulled back, giving him a once over. "You look good," she said, smiling brightly at him.
"I'm really glad you're here," she added, hugging him again.

Natasha was about to reply with something when Gwen ran in and accosted the stranger, yet he seemed to accost her right back, inwardly she rolled her eyes deciding it wasn't worth it.
She had no battles with Scotts especially since their family was a powerful one it was better to be in good graces and always in the best light possible to keep her pristine reputation.
So she smiled instead, "I see that telepathic connection has accommodated you very well." she nodded towards Gwen, who in her opinion was looking sallow, " I'm glad you have been reunited, and as it would seem there is no more use for me." she turned her expression towards the elder man something sparkling in her eyes, but her smile as radiant as the innocence she proclaimed as she then turned and left them to their business.

Justin took his eyes off his sister and watched the other girl go.. well she seemed a bit snotty to him even for all her sweetness she seemed to radiate. Good riddance was all he could think at that moment. He really had no use for propper little girls unless they were his sister, of course. But she was quickly forgotten as she walked away and he turned his attention back to Gwen. "So how are you enjoying school this year, Poppet? I haven't had a chance to see you since before you left. This is your seventh year right? You're almost done with all this silly school nonsense?" He didn't hold it against her that she'd been put into Gryffindor, what with Timothy being in Hufflepuff at least.

Gwen smiled as she took his hand and lead him to the stairs so that she could at least sit down with him.
"It's Hogwarts," she said, giving him a look. "How exciting do you expect it to have been?" It was her way of saying that she wanted to talk about him. "I thought you weren't back in town for a couple more weeks?"

"Well I hadn't planned on it, but I gone done with my trip early. Someone else managed to aquire the little trinket I had been searching for before I could so I decided to just come home for a bit and relax at mom and dad's till something else catches my interest. By the way don't tell anyone else I'm here yet, I want it to be a surprise. I was thinking of visiting mom and dad for dinner this weekend." He had a few things he wanted to ask her but he wasn't in a hurry. He sat down next to her though and smiled, indulging her with his little surprise.
"Oh that reminds me.. I brought you a gift." He smiled with a twinkle in his eyes.

(ooh you talked about Moody, don't ya know if you think about him one of his personalities will come to haunt ya ) Timothy was strolling down the hall having just left his last class for the day. He had been wondering all day where Gwen was, he needed to talk to her. He was about as good with girls as Thane was with remembering his stuff. Entering the HUfflepuff common room he quickly dumped all his books in his chest and hurried on down to see if Gwen was outside maybe. Walking down the stairs to the bottom floor he looked up and saw something that almost sent him reeling. The eldest Scott and the first pride and joy of the family was standing with Gwen. Approaching Gwen and Justin, Timothy kinda looked at the ground instead of meeting his brother eye to eye. He knew Justin was probably making fun of him for being put into Huffepuff. "Hi...Justin. Hey Gwen." His eyes locked onto the ground he was hoping his brother wouldnt be too harsh as he sometimes had a tendency to be.

"Did you know... you know we're all going home for dinner this weekend, right?" Gwen asked, wondering if it was all a good coincidence, or if he had known and planned accordingly. God, it was so good to see him.
Then, there was a twinkle in her eye. "Oh? What did you bring me?"
She looked at Timothy when she heard him, his appearance interupting her and Justin, and still had a smile on her face when she looked up. It was something she didn't understand, because Justin was never harsh with her. "Hey Tim. Look who joined us."

((hahaha... I had a feeling you would.. why do you think it was left open? and had so many little snarky comments about your incarnations.. *chuckle*))
Well there went his secret he thought to himself as the tender heart of the Scotts family showed up. "Surprise." He chuckled at his brother, he still loved him even if he was in the wrong house, but that didn't mean he didn't enjoy being hard on him because of it. "Well you might as well join in on our secret that I'm here. Just don't tell mom an dad okay? I'm trying to surprise them this weekend. So have you fallen in love with some fair maiden yet, lover boy?" It was an on going rib at his brother, who was a softy and bound to be the first of them to get married. He certainly had no intention of it unless he was forced to of course.

Tim smiled at his brother as he said surprise. "Of course Justin, I won't tell mum and dad promise." Very happy and somewhat worried that his brother was back he listened as Justin began with the same question he always did. "Well actually Justin, that's kinda why i'm here." Reminding himself that the whole reason he had been here to see Justin was because he needed advice on what to do with Katarina. Looking at Gwen he beamed at his older sister. "Gwenny, you know Katarina Gresh? I really like her but..." Pausing for a moment he looked down at the ground once more, preparing himself for any retorts Justin might come up with. "Um...I don't know how to ask her out...or what to do."

Gwen sighed and touched Justin's arm. She was all for him greeting their brother and all of that, but she had been here first and there was a surprise involved.
"Justin," she said softly, and smiled. "Finish your thoughts. What did you bring me?"
Tim's question stopped her though and she turned her attention back to him. It took a moment, but her smile widened. "Katerina, hm? I know of her... she's cute," she said, wishing she knew the girl. "Well... this is going to take some planning, Tim. But I might have a few ideas for you... if you want to hear them."

Tim nodded excitedly as his older sister said she had some ideas. "She's not cute Gwen! She's the most beautiful girl in this school." He smiled at the thought of the time he first met Kat, she had been standing in the courtyard and the way the sun reflected off her lovely skin, she looked angelic and Tim would never forget that moment. "Whenever i'm around here, I don't know what to do. I stutter and my nervousness kicks into full speed." Looking slightly ashamed he knew his big sis wouldn't let him down.

Gwen smiled in a motherly way at Timothy. He was head over heels for this girl.
She reached out for her brother, taking his hand to urge him to sit with them on the other side of her. She was already formulating an idea or two, and sighed softly. "Brilliant. We'll find a way to make sure she says yes to the dance."
She turned and gave Justin a slight look. She wanted to talk with him, alone, but they had time. She'd skip her next class if she had to.
"Tell me, Tim, what does she like? What makes her smile?"
