"Well, after living as I have been for years, and never really having anything other than the pack around you, you do tend to just look on the bright side of things. It's basically what keeps you going," said Rochelle. Rochelle kissed him back, putting her arms around him. She pulled away slowly and rested her forehead against his with a smile.

Sully smiled contentedly and leaned closer to her. He didn't feel the need to say anything; he was happy just being with her. They sat for a long time, just watching the stars, and breathing in the cool night air.
After a while, an older couple came walking by, arm in arm. The woman seemed to have some trouble walking, and the man was holding her up as they walked slowly along the pathway. Sully smiled at them as they passed. "That could be us one day," he said to Rochelle.

Rochelle watched as the older couple walked by. As the man seemed to be helping the woman, he glanced that way and she gave him a kind smile. She looked back at Sully and smiled. "Yeah, it could be." Rochelle grew quiet, and leaded over and gave Sully a kiss of her own, before glancing back towards the older couple as they made it down the street. She entwined her fingers with his and put her head on his shoulder.

Sully smiled and kissed her softly. Then he pulled back and shifted his position so that she was partially on his lap. They stayed that way for a long time, just holding each other and watching the stars, and not saying anything. It was enough just to be together.
Finally, he felt her shiver slightly. "We should probably go back to the inn," he said softly.

The temperature seemed to be dropping a bit, and she gave a slight shiver. Rochelle nodded and stood up. "It is starting to get a bit chilly out," she replied. She wrapped an arm around him as they walked down the street. Everything was quite, except for the soft sounds of people talking coming out of the little restaurants.

Sully kissed her on her forehead. "If I had a jacket, I'd put it on your shoulders," he commented, pulling her closer. "But I think instead, we should go back to the inn and see if we can come up with something to warm us up." He gave her a cute grin, with one eyebrow raised.

"It's alright. I like being like this better," she said with a smile. "Oh really," Rochelle said with her same smile, "that sounds well, inviting." She gave a wink and a giggle.

Sully laughed and walked with her, holding her close to him as they finally got back to the inn where they were staying. As they walked up the stairs to their room, he stopped and kissed her softly. "It's been a beautiful night," he said. "It might just be the best night of my life."

When they stopped on the stairs and kissed, a couple of people passed them with a few 'aw' sounds and a giggle. After he pulled away, she couldn't but give a soft laugh as well. Rochelle smiled and took both of his hands. "It has been," she agreed. "Tonight probably has been the most exciting night as well as the best, thanks Matt."

He leaned in close to her and kissed her neck. "Well, the night's not over yet," he said in a husky voice. He pulled back and looked at her, a hand on her cheek. "I like when you call me Matt. Somehow... it sounds right." Then he scooped her up in his arms and carried her to the door.

When Sully kissed her neck, Rochelle felt like her legs turned into some kind of liquid. She tilted her head over to allow more freedom and was glad that he had a small kind of hold on her, because if not, she would be scared she wouldn't really be able to stand properly. Rochelle bit her lip as he pulled away, then smiled. As he picked her up, that smile turned into a playful grin.

Sully carried her into their room, kicking the door closed behind them. He laid her down on their bed, and then laid down next to her. Unbuttoning his shirt, he leaned in and kissed her softly.

Rochelle buried her head in his neck as he entered the room. She kissed him in return and reached over to help him unbutton his shirt.
((flash forward!!!!))
Rochelle stirred a bit as the sunlight poured into their room. She looked over at a sleeping Sully and smiled. Careful not to wake him a first, she leaned closer to him and started to lightly kiss his neck.

Sully opened his eyes slowly, looking up at her with a sleepy smile. "Well, good morning, lass," he greeted her, kissing her softly. "How did you sleep?"

"Mmm. I slept pretty well," said Rochelle wrapping the sheet closer around her and propping her head on her hand. "What about you?"

Sully smiled at her. "Like a baby," he replied, reaching up and stroking her hair. "So, what do you want to do today? Are you up for adventure? Or would you rather just stay in bed all day?" To indicate his preference, he rolled over so that he was partially on top of her and kissed her deeply.

"I bet," she said with a wink. Rochelle gave a short laugh as Sully rolled partially on top of her. She reached up and moved her hands into his hair. Pulling away, she smiled. "You know, anything with you is an adventure." Rochelle moved her hands to his ears and started to trace them.

Sully closed his eyes, reveling in the feel of her finger tracing along his ear. "I feel the same way about you, Chell. It's like every day's a dream I don't want to wake up from." He leaned in and kissed the tip of her nose. "Today's going to have to be our last day in Italy, unless we hear from Zander. I suppose we should make the most of it... but I don't really care what we do or where we go, as long as I'm with you."

Rochelle smiled as Sully closed his eyes, and she continued her gentle tracing. "Well, you know I'm not picky at all. I suppose we could be lazy for just a bit, then go out. I don't know if I want move just yet, I'm too comfortable."

"Hmmmm.... I know what you mean," Sully said, nuzzling her neck. "I don't really want to move just yet. Do you suppose the inn downstairs would bring us breakfast in bed?"
