"Oh uh," Darn he was caught. Quick, think of something! "It was nothing..." Nice one... He felt a little awkward for a moment, standing there quietly. "I uh..." Roy said. "I should probably be home soon..." he said. "Does your offer still stand to help me out with these?" Roy asked, gesturing toward the containers of food. He hoped she would, the walk home would be better if she came along.

She looked curiously at him. Roy's sudden search for words made Caitlin feel a little out of place. After that, she just let it go. She didn't want to bother him about it, nor did she want anything awkward.
Once she cleared her throat, Caitlin agreed. "Y-yeah, I suppose so. It's been nice having you here though." That was safe to say, right? "Of course I'll help you out with them." Her voice seemed to have gained its confidence back. "I can get your cloak for you and then we can head on over if you want."

"We'll definatly have to do it again," Roy said with a grin. "It was fun." He waited by the door while Caitlin got his cloak. When she came back, he put it on and reached for the dorr, feeling around a bit for the handle before finding it and opening it for Caitlin. "After you," he said.
He followed her out and closed the door behind him. "You don't mind walking, do you?" Roy asked. It really wasn't far.

Caitlin took the containers from Roy as he put on his cloak. She had already put hers on in the process of getting to his. "Thank you," she said quietly as she left the apartment after making sure the door knob was locked.
"Walking? No, I don't mind." She was smiling lightly. "So maybe we could get together tomorrow? I am determined to make sure you know how to dance."

Roy chuckled at the thought. "Great, better bring something to heal your toes when I'm done stepping on them," Roy said. They left her building and headed toward Roy's, which was a few blocks away. As they walked, Roy looped his arm with Caitlin's, partially out of habbit, partially not, and took her hand in his, smiling to himself at what a good day this had turned out to be.

Luckily the heat from her face didn't transfer to her hands. Caitlin held onto his hand. It was just something that always happened and she never minded it. "Don't worry about stepping on my toes because I have a feeling that you're going to do a lot better than you think you are," she said laughing.
"And you should bring your guitar over tomorrow. I could come and get you in the morning if you wanted."

"I really wonder why you have so much faith in me," Roy said. "But I'll trust you." He grinned and squeezed her hand slightly and they continued to walk.
"Yea, I'll bring it," Roy said, making a mental note to make sure his guitar was tuned properly. "That sounds good," he smiled.

"I believe that you can do whatever it is you want to do. You just have to want to bad enough in order for it to work." Those words were the same that were said to her not that long ago. It was just Caitlin to have faith in people because there was once a person that had a strong faith in her.
"Good. I'm excited about hearing you play."
The walk back to his place was far too short, to her at least. Caitlin walked with him to his door and stopped. "Well, I had a lot of fun today and I'm looking forward to tomorrow."

"You come up with that yourself?" Roy asked. "It's good, almost had me convinced I could dance." He teased.
"I'll have to come up with some good music for you to hear," Roy replied, a smile crossing his face.
Too quickly, they were back to his apartment. He and Caitlin walked to his door and they paused. "Me too," Roy said. He reached for the door knob and muttered the unlocking spell to get in, opening the door. But he didn't go inside just yet. His hand that wasn't still holding his food was still holding hers, and he raised her hand to his lips, kissing it gently. "Goodnight Caitlin," Roy grinned. Then he headed toward the inside of his apartment.

Caitlin was going to ask if he wanted her to open the door for him but he had gotten to it before she could ask. It hadn't even occurred to her that he was still holding onto her hand until he started to raise it up.
She stared as he kissed it before he let it go. The next two words he said seemed to be far off for the moment. It took a moment to respond. "G-goodnight Roy. I'll come by in the morning." Caitlin smiled before she turned and started walking back home.
