"What? Me?" Roy asked. "Oh, just the usual, sitting at home, doing practically nothing," Roy sighed. There wasn't really a lot to do when your blind and bored. It wasn't like he could just sit and read. Well...he could, there was a spell for that, but Roy was too lazy to do magic these days.
When the groceries were paid for, Roy took the bag for Caitlin again and they walked out into the cold again. "Now where too?" he asked Caitlin as the hustle and bustle of busy London reached them agian.

"Well, we have a solution for you just sitting at home, doing practically nothing. You can come over to my place and help me today. Plus, you always know that you are welcome to come over if you get extremely bored. I'm usually always there."
Caitlin was about to grab the bag and carry it, however Roy beat her to it. "We can go ahead and go back to my place and start on this soup, or we can go anywhere you want to."

"Sure," Roy said. "I wouldn't mind helping you out Caitlin," It beat sitting at home. He knew he was welcome whenever, but truthfully, when he was bored it usually put him in a bad mood, and he didn't want to burden Caitlin with his bad moods.
The sound of people was louder, wherever they were in London, it was crowded, and the amount of people bothered Roy. "If you don't mind, your place sounds like a better plan..." He faced her and smiled tightly.

"Great," she said with her smile evident in her voice. Caitlin heard from Marina that Roy did get into his bad moods, however she was going to make sure that she stopped by a little more. All the times that she had gone by and visited he had been in a fairly decent mood, but then again he was usually doing something.
Caitlin held onto Roy's arm a little tighter, knowing that he disliked huge crowds. "As soon as we reach the Leaky Cauldron, we'll just apparate to my place." She moved them through the people and finally reached the Leaky Cauldron. Once they reached the opposite side of the store where no one else was, she apparated them to her place.
"Let's go into the kitchen and start working." She led him into the kitchen then released his arm to grab her big pot and put it on the stove. "Could you pour all the canned vegtables into the pot while I cook the meat real quick?"

Roy breathed easier when they aparated from London to Caitlin's apartment. The more familiar setting made Roy feel more comfortable and was happy as he was led into the kitchen. "Sure," Roy said. He reached for a can and pulled out his wand, using a simple household spell to remove the top of the can. He reached for the pot an poured the vegitables in. Meanwhile, Caitlin was cooking the meat. "Smells good," Roy said.

Glancing over to Roy as he put the vegtables in the pot made a smile appear on her face. "I hope that its going to turn out how I hope it will," she said with a small laugh.
It didn't take too long for Caitlin to cook the meat and she poured what she cooked into the pot. After adding just a little more tomato juice and a few other small things to the soup, she reached back and turned on the front burner so that the soup could start cooking. Once the lid was put on the pot, Caitlin turned to Roy.
"You've been a huge help so far today," she said smiling again. "This beats just sitting at home being bored, doesn't it?" She moved around him to grab two glasses. "Do you want anything to drink? I know I have apple and orange juice, water, and tea. I think I also have stronger stuff in the cabinets."

"Umm..." Roy contemplated as Caitlin offered him something to drink. He turned around to lean against the counter. The taste of the alchol he had at the Three Broomsticks was still on his tongue, though. "I'll have water, thanks Caitlin." He said.
"I never mind helping out..." Well, certian people. Mostly just Caitlin and Marina, when she let him, because anyone else he knew, which was sparce, always insisted on helping him, not the other way around. Thankfully, Caitlin was different.

She was already pouring herself a glass of water from the pitcher in the refridgerator when Roy was deciding on something. Once she finished pouring the glass, she went ahead and handed him the first one. "Here you go," Caitlin said reaching for his hand and to put it on the glass so that he would know where it was. She never insisted on helping him with everything. After all, he was still perfectly capable of doing things himself.
Caitlin poured herself another glass and then looped her arm through his. It was just a natural thing whenever they would go somewhere. Usually it wasn't so she could just lead him everywhere.
"Let's go into the living room for a little bit, shall we?"

Roy knew the way to Caitlin's living room, he could have gotton there with his wand extended. But he rathered that Caitlin loop her arm through his, and he smiled as they walked to the living room and took a seat. He took a sip of water and smiled. "Thanks," he said.

She had led hom over to the couch and sat beside him. "For what," she asked curiously. Caitlin was the type of person who's emotions sounded through her words as well as her facial expressions. It didn't matter what she was feeling, but it could be heard in her voice. She had never been real good at masking what was going on. In a way, that was good around Roy.

"For gettin me outta the appartment today," Roy smiled and took another sip of water. "And for watchin out for me," He wasn't sure if Caitlin knew how much he appreciated having her around. All through his childhood, ever since he lost his vision, Roy tended to stay away from people. He was glad to have Caitlin as a friend now.

"You don't have to thank me for that," Caitlin said blushing. "It's nothing, really. I should be thanking you for going along with me, because I know that you don't care to much for crowds." She didn't ever feel the need to be thanked, and when she was, almost everytime she blushed.
"I appreciate you helping me too. Between carrying the basket, getting groceries, bringing them home, and then cooking, its a job for one person." In all honesty, Caitlin appreciated having Roy around. She finally had someone that she could really talk to, or ask to go places with her. Sure, she did have a few other people who she could ask, but they were usually too busy to go do anything.
"You know what? I think its a little too quiet in here," she said smiling. Caitlin put her glass of water down on the table and walked over to her records. Putting one on, she walked back over to the couch and took Roy's hand as she reached with her other hand to take his glass of water to set it down on the table as well. "Come on."

"Caitlin, it's never a problem," Roy said. " I like helping you out." He said honestly. He blushed a little. Suddenly, she was up and on the other side of the room, putting a record on.
"What are you doing," he asked, but it was evidently clear what she was doing when she reached for his hands. "Oh, Caitlin," he said uncertiantly. "I...I don't dance well..." he protested, but he still ended up standing up with her anyway.

"You know, now that you say that you like helping me, I may put you to work a little bit more," she said teasingly.
Once his water was sat down on the table, Caitlin took his other hand so that she was holding both of his. "No protesting," she said with a laugh. "It doesn't matter if you don't think you can't dance well. All you have to do is follow the music, and I know that you don't really have any problems with that. We're just going to have a little fun instead of just standing here listening to the music." She let go of one his hands and put it on his shoulder. "Give it a chance, please?"

Roy blushed again as she put her hand on his shoulder. "Okay," he said, feeling the heat rise to his cheeks still. How could he say no to Caitlin? His hand hesitated for a second before he found her waist. Now he felt slightly awkward, standing there not knowing where to step. "Um..."

She noticed his blush and she thought it was adorable. When his hand touched her waist, it felt like fire, but Caitlin didn't move away. She squeezed his shoulder. "Just relax Roy, don't be so stiff. Trust me on this. All you have to do is just listen to the music and follow me. You don't have to worry about not seeing anything, because with dancing you don't really need to see. All you do is just listen and move with the music. It'll be fun, promise."
Caitlin waited until he relaxed a little before taking the first step and have him follow her. "Don't worry about stepping on my feet. Its not going to hurt me if you do. But I have faith in you that you want. Remember to just stay relaxed."

His stomach tightened a little. He was nervous, which was wierd. He wasn't 15 and at Hogwarts anymore, he was a grown man. But honestly, dancing with Caitlin made him nervous, because he knew he'd embarass himself. "Okay," he said, smiling. "I'll trust you." and they danced. He tried to relax, while also trying not to trip, or step on her foot.
Which is exactly what he did next. "Oh, sorry," he apologized after stepping on her.

"There's nothing to be nervous about." Caitlin had started to become fairly decent at reading Roy. He wouldn't tell her what was wrong most of the time, so she had to figure it out for herself. "I'm not going to judge you or anything. We're just having fun." She would never judge him on anything.
"You don't have to apologize, just relax. Close your eyes even and focus on what you hear. Don't think about anything else, alright?" Caitlin continued to led him around, taking simple dance steps. "Just listen, that's all," she said softly.

Roy chuckled and shook his head. He felt kind of ridiculus. He closed his eyes, granted it didn't really matter much, and listened to the music.
The fell into a smooth stride, dancing around the living room. The smile on his face expressing his thoughts. This is nice.

Patience was a strong point for Caitlin. She would always wait until someone got what they were trying to do and then she would make sure that she was able to show them that at least one person was proud of them.
Once Roy had just focused on the music, everything was a lot more smooth. There was no awkward steps or stumbles. A smile grew on her face as well. She waited until the song was finished as she came to a slow stop. "Now, was that not easy? You even started to lead a little." Caitlin's smile was evident in her tone. "Want to go for another one?"
