Arystar wasn't tired. He hadn't been tired since he entered London at all. He was excited trying to take the whole city in at once, a place where magic and muggles were together and they hadn't a clue! Of course most of the people he had run into thought he had to of been someone named "Jack the Ripper" but when he tried to explain his name wasn't Jack at all but Arystar, they would quickly depart. Arystar didn't let it bother him too much. His long black coat and combed back hair looked cool, or so he thought, and his boots were laced up and shined. He had to be the picture of cool! When he had checked into the Leaky cauldron for a room, he had asked if there was anything to see near by. There were several places, but this night club seemed far more interesting than a bookshop at the moment. He was excited because it would be his first time going into a night club, He had wondered about what places like this were like, but never really had ever tried to go to one. Getting in was easy, but it was very loud inside, it was dimly light and there were a lot of people, everyone was a stranger with a laughing face. He felt a little uneasy but tried to look cool all the same. he walked over to a counter were people were sitting and decided to just observe for a moment, maybe he would see how things worked here.

Annalise rarely wandered into Spellbound anymore. Enchanted was just more mature. The music and the drinks were better, and so was the clientel. Spellbound just seemed like it was full of barely legal teens, and she wasn't interested.
Something had called Ursula away for the early part of the evening, and Anna surprised Nathalia when she got off from Stu's by dragging her straight to Enchanted. Ursula should know by now that leaving Annalise alone and bored was never a good idea. At least Ursula promised to come as soon as she could.
Nathalia was surrounded somewhere in the middle of the dance floor, probably having a fun time, and someone, Anna was still bored out of her mind. She was at the bar, sipping on a free drink she had coaxed out of the female bartender, when Arystar took a seat next to her.
Raising her eyebrow at him, she gave him a once over and couldn't help but smile. At least she held in the laugh.
"New in town?" She asked over the music.

Arystar nearly jumped out of the seat he had just taken, a lady was talking to him! He had barely heard the question. He really wasn't used to the noise of the place. "Ah, Yes! Just came to London actually!" he smiled warmly, which looked extremely odd on his face. His pale skin and dark hair, he looked more ghoulish than warm. Grandfather had impressed on him to be polite when a lady speaks.

He was an awkward sort, and his voice didn't quite match his look. But he wasn't as frightening as Anna imagined he tried to look. Though he did look something like an American movie vampire.
Her back to the bar, she rested her elbows behind her, obviously completely at ease with herself and the situation. A coy smile rested on her lips.
"And where are you from, Stranger?"

Arystar really was at a loss, she was...displaying herself! He tried not to blush at her forwardness. He was quickly getting out of his depth. "Ah well, I really haven't really a place to say I'm from" He figured he couldn't well say his Grandfather's house! "I've just been around." Of the few things Arystar had learned on his short travels was, never mention where he was from and NEVER PLAY POKER. He had been lucky that time before. This lady was pretty, she seemed to know her way around this kind of atmosphere well. "I'm guessing you live here? in London?" it sounded tentative even to his ears, he mentally winced at his own lack of experience.

Anna raised her eyebrows and her smiled widened. She shook her head slowly.
"I don't, as it turns out." It as a little odd that he wouldn't commit to coming from anywhere. She had a similar problem since she moved around so much as an actress, but she usually just replied with the last place she'd been.
And she realized with a start that she didn't live in London, even if she was currently staying in Ursula's flat. One day, she would be called away to Merlin only knew where.
"I just came in from the States," she told him, hoping it would encourage him to open up a little.

The States? He had never even considered going there at all! not once! He consoled himself with the thought of first dealing with just England and parts of Europe, The world was a terribly large place after all. He brightened all the same. "Ah, was it nice there?" as far as he knew the United States were a large country on their own, whatever part she was from he couldn't tell! For a moment he felt like a child that had been caught sneaking something, and that he should probably confess to never having ever been a club before, but he snapped his lips closed with a smile and quickly thought of another question instead. "Ah, where in the states are you from?" he felt a little better that he was still managing a converstation without looking for an exit so soon.

Anna smiled even wider and shrugged. Had she been flirting more, she would have told him to guess where she was from in the states.
"I'm not from there, either," she told him. "It's just where I was last. But if it counts, I was born in Ireland." She couldn't really claim being from there, either, since she spent so little time there, but it fit her purpose to say she was.

She was very international! Arystar was getting over his shyness and getting curious. "Really? You've must of been all over the world already! I'm just trying to take it in." he felt a little disappointed in himself. He had stayed too long in that museum that was his Grandfather's home, but despite his resentment toward the last of his family, which was currently dead, he had loved him. He shook off the dark thought, even if his face scowled very easily and smiled again. "You must know a lot about the world, or you must be a talented witch." he kept his eyes on her face, he didn't want to imply that he was looking or anything lecherous like that! He did try schooling his thoughts into something less treacherous. "I never went to any schools for magic." he said something embarrassing, he stuck his hands in his pockets and felt around for a few coins, he needed a drink, maybe they had a soda or something he could drink.

Ursula had some business that night, and was running pretty late. But finally, she was able to get away, and she went straight to Enchanted to meet up with her daughter and Anna.
She and Anna had been seeing each other for nearly a month already, and in fact, Anna was staying with Ursula. The apartment was small, but cozy, and Anna seemed to get along with Nathalia, and vice versa. All in all, it had been pretty nice. And Ursula didn't want to admit it, but she was falling pretty hard for Annalise Kennedy. But who knew how long she would be staying? Sooner or later, she'd have to move on to her next project.
These thoughts weighed heavily on Ursula's mind as she stepped into Enchanted. She could spot her daughter almost immediately--her mother's instincts never failed her. As usual, she was surrounded by a crowd of men. "That's my girl," she thought to herself.
Then Ursula scanned the room in search of Anna. She finally found her at the bar, sitting next to a man, dressed all in black, with pale skin. Ursula raised her eyebrows and moved towards them.
"Hi, Anna, darling, sorry, I'm late," Ursula said, leaning in to kiss Anna on the lips. "Having fun?"

Arystar felt his mouth hang open, he was hot and cold at the same time, and any scattered thoughts he might of had fled his mind as quickly as the lovely blonde's lips landed on the pretty brunettes. He adjusted his collar and felt the blood hit his high cheeks. He had never even thought something like that could happen. He thought the world just worked with men and women, this was a totally new experience to him. He was in no place to decide how or think too deeply on what he had just seen. Oddly enough he realized he had been so nervous that he never even introduced himself at all! He snapped his jaw shut and said "Oh! G-good evening!" and tried to smile awkwardly.

Anna shrugged at Arystar. "I only know what I see from the hotel room," she replied. Most of the time, she didn't have a lot of free time to explore the places she had been, which was why she felt that she really hadn't traveled at all.
Before she could say anything else, Ursula was kissing her, and she almost laughed at being caught unaware. But the shocked look on Arystar's face did not escape her, and she felt like teasing him a little. Catching Ursula's chin, she pulled her back for another, deeper kiss.

Now the blood drained from Arystar's face, he felt decidedly light headed. Now he felt even less than smooth. This woman didn't like men at all! He decided he really should have something to occupy himself with He waved down the bartender and nervously laughed. He asked for a cola and he was asked if he wanted it on he rocks and with something else he didn't understand, but he didn't want to hesitate anymore and seem more like a fool so he said it was fine. He paid and got his drink, smiling nervously he took a gulp and managed to swallow it, it burned! Without warning the blood rushed back to his face and he was flushed. That was a very strong drink! He decided to think of what the darker lady had said, and wondered what she did if she spent her time in hotel rooms... Trying in vain to keep his thoughts from wandering to a seedier occupation that she might have.

"Mmmm," Ursula said against Anna's lips as they kissed. "Gotta love that kind of greeting," she said, smiling.
She glanced beyond Anna to the bewildered young man sitting there, staring at them. She'd been known to give a few guys a free show, on occasion. "See something you like?" She winked at him, then looked back at Anna. "Who's your funny little friend, hon?"

Arystar took another drink of his burning liquid, it was what he was calling his whiskey and soda, and started to nod before resolutely shaking his head 'no'. "I only just met!" he said before quickly adding "As to say that I only met her tonight! not that I'm inclined to say what I like to see versus what I don't like and ahh." he took another burning drink and started to feel a little less flustered while still feeling very embarrassed.

Anna laughed. "His name's Arystar. He's not much of a traveler, and..." She smiled at him so that he would know her teasing was all in good fun. "He's not much of a drinker, either. Arystar, this is Ursula, my girlfriend."
She didn't know if they were labling themselves yet, but she really never cared for the awkwardness of relationships. Even if it wasn't going to last, she considered Ursula her girlfriend for now, so why not call her as such?
Then, to tease him further, she pointed to Nathalia. "She's with us too, but she looks a little busy right now."

He was had! it must be very apparent that he wasn't so well traveled and not nearly used to drinking as both of them had to be! He tried not to look so crestfallen, but said "Yes, my name is Arystar Cory." grandchild of one of the most eccentric wizards of the age and former caretaker of all his terrible magical plants. It was awkward moments thus far in his new life that he deeply resented his grandfather, but he couldn't concentrate on brooding very far. Ms. Annalise pointed to a third younger woman on the dance floor, surrounded by young men, and mentioned she was also 'with them'. He took the last swallow of his drink, thankfully some of the ice had melted and made it much fresher to drink. "Ah, you must all live a happy life then...together." he added the last part tentatively, of course, he would hate to be rude and assume the worst but he had an eyeful already and couldn't help but think that maybe it wasn't out side the possibility.

Ursula grinned. "Well, nice to meet you, Arystar. Interesting name, by the way."
Her arms were still wrapped around Anna and she was tempted to whisk her off to the dance floor. But she didn't want to be rude to the odd little fellow. At his comment, she burst out laughing. "Oh, no... No, it's not like that. Well, not with Nathalia. She's my daughter."

"Oh! so she doesn't live with you?" he thought he was playing it off very well. It was so strange, Cory was trying to gage if he was having fun at all. It was a clear answer of no, but he wasn't getting anywhere avoiding awkward situations or even people as awkward as he was. So he was going to ride this night out and learn from it, it was his determination. He might even start to have more fun than feel like a dork. But it was almost an up hill battle he was a bit of a dork."My name isn't more interesting than where I got it from, my family's been bestowing the first born males with the name since my grandfather Arystar the first." he said trying sound proud of the fact rather than mildly bothered by it, even his name came from the old man.

"Actually, to be technical, neither of us live with Ursula, here. We just stay sometimes," Anna explained, though vaguely. Arystar did not look comfortable speaking to them anymore, and she wondered if he was scared of them.
"What are you drinking there, Arystar? I'll buy you the next one."
