Marrion was there, sharpening her claws as it were. She was the picture of calm apathy, but inwardly a storm raged. Her anticipation was sweet and her desire to do harm a palpable pleasure to whet the appetite. She hadn't a mind for anyone or anything but her daughter and the task at hand. Ever since the mission she completed for Voldemort that put her in this ridiculous position Samantha had been out of reach, but no longer. No she knew the girl would be there today. Vain little Samantha was so easy to control, a handful of secret admirer letters and Sam would come running to meet her "mystery man".
Marrion knew Samantha would probably be there to let the bloke down gently, since Samantha was too good for anyone else. Marrion could spit, the rage she felt against her daughter was a festering living thing and today the torment would begin.

Arachne took a breath and then exhaled as she arrived where they were all to meet. She caught Bella's frame quick enough and joined the girl casually. She had a duty to perform today and she would pull it off with flying colors determined as she was. Briefly her eyes scanned the room, they touched on Augustus but quickly left him then fell on Rabastan whom she looked at with little interest. It was nothing personal, but there was a large difference between pleasure and work. She could be completely dedicated to one and push the other away. Compartmentalizing was a hidden talent of hers, among her other hidden talents.
She understood she had much to prove today and therefore was one of Augustus' "morose" individuals. Not morose however, just simply very serious. She hated children that was true. When you led a life such as the one she had lived it gave you a reason to hate helpless creatures, and most children were that, helpless. She didn't have a childhood, couldn't afford one and she envied the brats who lived their seemingly innocent lives without worry.

Samuel appeared in the background, staying close to the edge of the group. The only person he had truly met was Tristan, but he didn't try and get his attention. Samuel was here for proof that he was ready to be a death eater, and not just an unproclaimed follower

When Logan got the call, he was elated. He rushed to the meeting site where a large group had already gathered. With this many people, they were sure to create mass chaos. Logan's heart was pounding furiously in his chest, the adrenaline pumping through his system so quickly he was on a natural high. The mood of the group around him was a tense hesitation, but he could still clearly sense the excitement. He looked to Rabastan and Bellatrix, then to Lucius, who was to lead their small party. He was the oldest of the group, and in his mind he was second in charge because of it. He smiled at the larger group.

Justin had debated with himself about taking part in the attack. It wasn't that he disagreed with it, or was in any way reluctant, but he knew his parents would be home, keeping the younger children away from the fighting. In order not to arouse their suspicions, he really should have stayed home. But he knew Jadon was going to be there, and Tanya was as well. He simply couldn't stay away.
So he arrived at the meeting location and stood next to Jadon, a small smile on his face.

Griffen's boot scraped the ground where he walked as he was more pushing his feet forward rather than lightly stepping, in either case he made no sound as he appeared. He was feeling sluggish and couldn't shake this feeling of...anticipation. He had it long before this attack and didn't think it was the attack he was anticipating although he wasn't put off by the attack either. He knew some had qualms about hurting children, he really didn't care.
His eyes met a few others but he didn't say a word.

Augustus smiled and let out a short but cheerful laugh as Bella replied to his comment.
"For Salazar's sake," he said, ignoring the dirty and nervous looks for speaking at a time like this. "You're all depressing me. They die today, not us. Let's at least pretend to be happy."
Someone else's arrival cut off whatever else he might have said.

Jadon smiled at his cousin's arrival.
"I honestly wasn't sure you'd show," he said. He had almost stayed home to keep an eye on his sisters, and he knew how Justin felt about his siblings, too.
"I'm glad you did, though. It's going to be a very long day."

Michael was one of the last to arrive, everything about his countenance cool and collected, calm like every other day. He was looking forward to this... oh yes... but he wasn't the kind to show any exitement, or nerves if he had any at all.
He took his place gracefully, meeting the eyes of nearly everyone else, and clasped his hands behind his back, just waiting.

Arachne glanced at Augustus again and thought about his countenance here, how he was acting, rather how he expected the rest of them to be in a jolly mood. Arachne was too business oriented at the moment to comply, although she had seen him in enough "business like" moods to be sure that he understood the sentiment. Still she could envy his calm, his easy going attitude about what was to take place. So far she had already killed one student, and she was willing to kill others if it served the Dark Lord, not to mention her own purposes.

Justin turned to Jadon. His expression, like many of the others', was serious but determined. Unlike some people, Justin didn't think this was an occasion to be jovial. They were on a mission today, to spread the Dark Lord's message.
"I wasn't sure I'd come, either. But I felt I needed to be here. My parents are with the kids... they don't need me there. I'm assuming your parents have the princesses locked away safely as well?"

Blake arrived with a number of other late-coming death eaters.* He quickly moved in and noticed Alec, Lyle, and Jordan among the crowd. A small smile appeared on his lips and he moved over to Jordan, who was the closest of the other three.
"If you happen to see my nephew today, make sure you don't kill him," he said, his voice low. "Make some threats to his family, but leave him alive. If anyone is going to kill him, I want it to be me."
*[OOC: Please note: this means that all death eaters who have not yet posted in this thread are now here. ]

Jordan gave a low chuckle. "I wasn't planning on exactly killing him, just maybe a little toturing." His smile was apparent. "Besides, I was planning on giving a few threats. I made sure to do a little research on him."
Roland had seen his face and even hit him with a jinx. Jordan was hoping to have a little fun today, and a little fun included toturing or threating Roland in some way or another.

Blake smiled, showing off his smooth, white teeth. "Good. That's exactly what I was hoping for. I want to drag this out for a while... make him suffer. The best part is, I don't even think he realizes who I am. He hasn't seen me since he was 8 years old.... he wouldn't know me from Adam. But a few well-placed threats will be enough to throw him off."

Post by Ted Tonks on Dec 30, 2008 15:01:36 GMT -5
Nearby, in the streets of Hogsmeade, Ted had his hands shoved deep in his pockets, one hand fisted around his wand... he was on patrol, after all, and you couldn't be too safe.
He had been good, like he promised Angelique. He was sober on the job, and he had enough to think about to keep his mind mostly off of Andromeda. The off times were the difficult ones, where her sweet voice pushing him away came to his mind, and he turned to the bottle, but he was dealing with it.
"Today feels different," Ted murmured to Veronica after a moment.

Veronica nodded quietly. She could sense something, too. There was a charge in the air, a strange and ominous kind of energy. The streets were hushed and quiet, as if some supernatural force knew that something was about to happen.
"I know what you mean," she answered, turning to look at Ted. He was sober, and seemed better than he had been. It was a relief. "I get this feeling we should be calling for backup right about now. Isn't today a Hogsmeade weekend for the students?"

Diana on the other hand knew something was going to happen, she didn't know where, or when, but she knew *something* was happening. Christian wouldn't tell her and it drove her crazy thinking that their daughter could be in danger. A mother provoked was a dangerous thing indeed. If she wasn't positive that killing the leader of this fraction would leave her in a less lively state she might have done something so reckless, as it was she was now simply tailing Christian and keeping a sharp eye out for any fifteen year old girl.

Maxi was sitting with Seth outside of the Three Broomstick, waiting for Bek and Gage too meet up with them. It was a Hogsmeade weekend and the little town had quickly filled up with students from the school. Maxi waved to some of the student that she knew and some that she didn't. Being a house champion had given her a sudden boost in popularity, but it didn't really affect Maxi much. Next to her, Seth was sitting quietly, looking at his shoes. "You okay Nopho?" she asked.

Jadon nodded, still speaking softly since it was so quiet. "Yes, the girls are at home for the weekend. They wanted me to stay home too, but... you know." He gave a little shrug. He wanted to be here, or at least he thought he did.

Seth had been spacing out, waiting for Bek and Gage when Maxi spoke to him. "Wha? Yea, fine," he said, looking up at her with a smile. "Look about running into my family the other day..." Seth said, jerking his head toward the building behind them. "If I haven't said it enough, I'm sorry, they're horrible, they really are..." he apologized repeatedly since running into the Inophen's, but he still felt aweful.
