Jackie laughed when he picked her up. "Your legs are twice as long as mine, Dean!" She told him, almost as if she were scolding him.
On her feet, she smiled again, looking up at him. "Want to hold my hand on the way down?" She was only half teasing him, in actuality, kind of hoping he would.

"Well, you need to learn to take longer strides," he said with a grin. After he set her down, he gave her 'duh' look. "You wanted me to jump with you, so of course." He gave her a wink and looked over to the edge before grabbing her hand. "Come on! I'm ready!" Dean started to become excited about this, like a little kid at Christmas.
He pulled Jackie to the edge with him. "On the count of three...."

Jackie used him to pull herself up. She wasn't as scared this time, after having survived it once, and she was thrilled that Dean was doing it with her.
She let him count, and when he hit three, she squeezed his hand and jumped.

Dean counted to three, then jumped off holding Jackie's hand. He counted in his mind, while he wondered what would happen if their brooms didn't make it.
Just as he got to fourteen, he called for his broom. Adrenaline was pumping and of course he found this exciting. For once, Dean forgot about the 'what ifs' and enjoyed the fall.
Luckily his broom made it on time, and he positioned himself on it while he laughed. "Oh, that was fun!"

Jackie would have waited longer to call for her broom, but decided that she knew Dean would at exactly 14, so she did as well.
When they were both safely on their brooms, she was biting her lip, silent. Silence from Jackie never meant anything good. It meant she was planning something. And, of course, that look was in her eye again.

He flew around on his broom for a second and then flew infront of Jackie as he stopped. Dean looked at her for a moment. "Why are you so...," he let it trail off before looking at her face. "Uh no. Jackie, you're biting your lip and that look in your eye is back. What exactly are you thinking?" He was always interested in what she could come up with, however the majority of her ideas, he tried to talk her out of with a low success rate.

"I'm not sure," She answered, still regarding him. She had a lot going through her mind. Naturally, she was already devising her next adrenaline rush, but she was thinking about him, too.
She laughed. "You just jumped off the highest tower in the school. And you liked it. I mean, I always knew you didn't hate the things I've made you do... but this was really dangerous. And it was your idea!"

"Yeah, well, the way we did it was logically possible for us to make it." Dean gave her a grin. "Plus, I was the one to think of it like you said, so naturally I would like it, after you basically force me into it. Course I'd think I'd like almost anything you'd force me into." Dean had a teasing look on his face.
"So, what is there to do next? Before we do go our seperate ways, I do want to talk to you as in best friend to best friend."

When did they ever really go their seperate ways, she wondered, but she didn't voice this. "Well, to be truthful, my heart is still pounding, so I can wait a few minutes before our next grand adventure," she replied. "Let's head back up to that room and talk over that game of chess."

Dean smiled. "Alright. I guess I could use a little break as well. Why don't we just fly up and go back in that way? It would be a lot shorter on getting there, unless of course you want me to carry you back up the stairs, which I wouldn't mind." His face held a light pink blush, but he didn't bother to hide it. Maybe she wouldn't really notice.
"And I'm ready to take you on in the rest of the game of chess."

She didn't. That blush could have been anything... namely the adrenaline that was just starting to leave her system, and probably his as well. She felt invincible... she always did after one of her stunts. She felt like she could do anything in the world.
"As tempting as that offer is, Dean-o, we should probably fly up."

"You got it Ms. Jackie," he said giving her a wink. "I'll see you at the top." Flashing a grin, he went straight up. He raced to the top and landed smoothly. Flying was something he loved to do, other than spending time with his best friend.
"I'm debating if I should go easy on you or not during this chess match." Dean put a hand to his chin as if he was thinking deeply.

"Easy," she said after catching up with him and climbing through the window. She flashed a grin in his direction.
"Afterall, you did just coerce me to jump off the highest tower in the school."
(Short, sorry!)

"Coerced you!? I didn't coerce you into anything. It was you that coerced me into doing something I was actually just joking about," he said. Dean took her arm and started to lead her back to the room of requirement slowly. "Although, I do have to say, that was probably the most exciting thing I've ever done."
He thought about what he wanted to ask. Dean wanted to ask her how he should tell her he liked her without telling her that it was actually her that he was talking about. It had been eating him inside not really knowing how to tell her, or if he really did want to tell her because Dean had to think about their friendship as well.

Jackie laughed. "Yeah yeah, whatever you say," she said, winking at him and leading him back to the Room of Requirement. It was still set up how they left it... of course, she had asked for it that way when the door reappeared.
"We'll get you to do more," she promised. "Now that I know what you're willing to do."

"It depends on what it is, if I'm willing, and it depends on the bargain you make." Dean gave her a wink and led her into the room. He took his seat on the floor again and waited for Jackie to take her seat on the couch.
"While we play chess, I want to ask you for some advice," he said rubbing the back of his neck.

"I know," She said, taking her seat across from him. "And I'm all ears. You know that. Although I think I'm probably the worst person to ask advice from," she added. What did she honestly know about anything? She had days when she only really felt alive when she was jumping off schools, or flying as fast as she could with her eyes closed towards the forest.
"So, it's your turn, and let's hear it."

"Well, you're a girl, so I thought that I would ask you. Plus, you're the only one that I would want to really take advice from." He gave her a sheepish grin.
Dean continued to play chess with her and then he sighed, trying to get his thoughts together. "Alright. There's this girl. I've figured out that I like her. I'm not sure what I want to do, other than, I don't really want to ask her out yet because I don't know if she likes me the same way. How can I go about dropping hints that I like her, without actually saying anything?"

Jackie frowned. She didn't ncessarily want to be the one he had a crush on, she didn't think, but she was suddenly extremely jealous that another girl had just entered the picture. She played it off that she was thinking about her move, and when she looked back at him, she was smiling.
"I might be able to help you better if I knew who it was," she pressed, hoping he'd tell her.

"I can't tell you who it is," replied Dean. "I'm not going to tell anyone who she is, well not right now at least. But I do believe you'll like her. She's smart and funny, and just overall has a great personality." He looked to the board and then made his move.
"Please help me Jackie. It's going to drive me crazy if I don't do anything. She might be interested in some other guy, who knows? I'm not ready to just openly tell her."
