She was still laughing, though inwardly, she thought, if she was going to give herself to anyone, it would be him.
"Mesmerized, huh? That's a new one," she said. "I've noticed you don't like to share... but I always just thought you assumed you were better than everyone else... after all, you're always telling me I can do better whenever I look at someone."
She was slowly taking him to the room of requirement, with innocent intentions, despite their teasing.

He wasn't really paying attention to where they were going and honestly he didn't care. He was hanging out with his best friend. "Of course you can always do better, and I usually say that because I don't like to share. I'm lost without my Jackie. What can I say?" Dean gave her a playful grin.
Dean noticed where they were. "Mmmhmm. Jackie, what are you planning," he teased.

She felt a warm tingle whenever he called her his Jackie, but she could never quite place why, so she often dismissed it.
When he asked what she was planning, she looked at his face, and then frowned. "So you do know about this room. Damn. I thought I had discovered something new. How come you never told me about it?" They were still outside since she wasn't sure what she wanted from the room yet.

"Wait, what do you mean room, it's just a wall Jackie," said Dean looking at her a little confused. "I was just thinking that this was an abandoned part of the seventh floor. What is this room you speak of that is supposedly where this wall is?" He hadn't actually heard of a secret room in Hogwarts, so this was a new one on him.

Jackie made a happy noise. "Good!" She said, excited again. She went from completely deflated to excited in a manner of seconds.
"Hmm... where do you want to be right now? Anywhere. Just pick somewhere. And don't say something sweet like anywhere I am... that doesn't help."

Raising an eyebrow in interest Dean thought for a moment. "I wasn't actually going to say that, but I'll let you think that I was." He smiled playfully. "I was thinking about somewhere warm and comfortable. You know somewhere were the lights are not too bright. Maybe only fire light or something like that." He gave a little shrug.
"So how do you make the room appear?"

"That sounds awfully romantic," Jackie said without thinking, and gave him a little smirk when he asked how to make the room appear.
"I'm not telling," she decided, and paced in front of the room. He could probably figure it out... he was put in Ravenclaw for a reason.
She thought of her living room at home... it was large, with a comfortable plush couch facing a large, stone fireplace, and had a sort of, cabin in the woods feel to it. Yes, that would do.
A moment later, a door appeared, and she grinned. "Well, open the door," she told him proud of herself.

He flushed, not realizing that it did sound romantic in a way. That wasn't really in intention. He was just naming a place where he would be comfortable.
Dean's eyes watched Jackie as she paced in front of the wall. Of course he was amazed that a door did show up. Swallowing, he walked over and opened the door and peered in, but didn't go in just yet. He could see a comfortable couch and a fireplace. A smile spread across his face and then looked back to Jackie. "Ladies first," he said motioning for her to enter while he held open the door.

"Thank you," Jackie said, ducking under his arm (not that she had to duck very far) and entering the room.
A rush of warm air hit her, and it made her smile. "If there's anything else you want," she said, "All you have to do is ask. This room is amazing."
She turned and waited for him to come in.

Dean didn't think there was anything else he needed at the moment. He had everything, although he would probably ask for a little bit more courage than what he had, but that was something that the room couldn't really be able to provide.
He walked in after Jackie, with his smile still on his face. Dean enjoyed the look of happiness on her face. He walked in and took a seat on the couch, sinking into it. He patted the seat next to him for her to come join him. "This is amazing," came his reply. "I think I may have to use this room more often."

Jackie was pleased that he seemed to like the room, and joined him on the couch, slipping over of her shoes and pulling her legs up under her as she leaned into him, clearly indicating that she expected him to hold her still.
"And what exactly would you use this room for, hmm? Late night rendez-vous?" She teased. "It's private, at least. Even if someone else wants to use the room, they won't ever find you."

"If there will be any late night rendezvous, it will be with a certain Jacquelyn Frazier," he teased back. "See, she brought me to this room after we ditched the rest of the school. I've been wondering what she really had on her mind." Dean grinned and put his arm around her as she leaned into him. It was a normal thing for them to be like this.
"I would probably actually use it to come and think or study so I can get peace and quiet actually. Of course I would use it to hang out with you when we can't decide where to go."

"If I didn't know better," she said, raising her eyebrows playfully, "I'd think you only had one thing on your mind." She almost told him he needed a girlfriend, but kept quiet. She knew they were just friends, and she was even pretty sure that she only liked him as a friend. But she got protective when she saw other girls eyeing him... which he rarely ever noticed. She wasn't sure how she would handle it when he ever did find a girlfriend... she would have to split her time with him, and she could be a pretty jealous person when it came down to it.

Dean gave her a playful shocked looked. "You think I have one thing on my mind? You never know, I could," he said wiggling his eyebrows suggestively, yet playfully. "Of course, if I did have one thing on my mind, that you be you. After all, I am currently spending time with you." He gave her a wink. "And if I didn't know better, I would think that you only had one thing on your mind too. You were the one that led me here after all."

"I just said I found a room," She said, defending herself. "You're the one that wanted the romantic setting, Dean-o."
Sometimes, she wasn't sure where she stood with Dean. It confused her that she was the only one he wasn't so shy with. It was because they knew each other so well, she reminded herself. They had been inseperable since the sorting their first year. They were even usually known as "Jackie and Dean." You never really talked about one without bringing up the other.
"I don;t mind being the only thing on your mind, though."

"Romantic setting," he asked. "I didn't think of that really. I just wanted somewhere comfortable." Dean had to defend himself. He didn't realize that it would be like a romantic setting. The thought of it being that way made his cheeks flush, but luckily Jackie couldn't really tell what color his face was.
A smile spread across his face at her comment. He liked her, and of course that comment made his stomach do several flips. "Good," was his response. "So, Ms. Frazier, what are we going to do today? Just this? That wouldn't be a problem if we did."

"There you go, putting me on the spot again," she said, trying to think of something they could go do. She was half tempted to see if she could turn the room into a rock climbing wall or something of the sort, since she always wanted to try that.
"I'm feeling lazy today. Would you be terribly disappointed if I didn't come up with some grand adventure?"

"It's my job to put you on the spot," he said with a wink. "Of course I wouldn't be. I'm feeling a bit lazy myself." Dean stretched his legs out and put his feet on the table in front of the couch. "And don't worry about not planning a grand adventure, because everything with you turns into some kind of an adventure."
He pulled her closer because he was giving her a hug. "Not that I mind that."

"Sometimes I think you mind it," she said, smiling up at him. "But that you humor me, and I appreciate it. Besides, my adventures are good for you."
They helped him break out of his shell sometimes, she thought. And, conversely, he always tried to voice reason to her when she went a little overboard.... which happened more often than not.

He laughed. "Your adventures are quite entertaining." Dean continued to keep his arm around Jackie. His laughter quieted down. "I would be extremely boring if it weren't for you Jackie. You keep life, interesting." He gave her a grin. "Even if I have to talk you out of a few things."
Dean got a michevous look in his eye. He moved his other hand to poke her in the side before reaching up and stratching his face with a smile playing on his lips.
