Alice chuckled, "Okay so at least that's one crossed off the list. You sure you don't mind still doing this? I have three more to try on." She looked at him worriedly, that he'd get tired with helping her soon. "I think there's one more blue one and two more glack ones left to try on."

"I don't mind doing this Alice, honestly. I'm enjoying myself, really," Frank said reassuring her. "I like watching. I'm not bored, I promise." He smiled at her as he leaned back in the chair. "But go ahead and try on the other ones. Take your time. I'm in no rush." Frank liked this. He didn't mind it at all because he got the chance to see Alice's face if she really liked something or not. Plus, he liked the fact that she included him in her decisions.

Alice was enjoying herself, it wasn't very often she went out looking for dresses and the fact that was getting to do so with the one man who's opinion actually matters to her, made it all the better. Besides she just enjoyed his company, no matter what they seemed to be doing. Alice went back into the changing room and put this dress on the 'no' pile. Then she pulled out one of the black dresses she'd found. It was high in wizarding fashion and quite pretty on the hanger but gave a bit of naughty to it's style without revealing anything. The skirt was irregularly cut at the hem which the color faded from black at the waist to a blue at the bottom. It didn't poof out much but would flow like silk when it moved or she spun. The bodice wrapped around her like a corset and formed a heart in the front. the fabric there also faded from black at the waste and blue at the top. The fabric slightly shimmered in the lights. It was sleevless but the corset had three black leather buckles fastening it closed in the front.
She blushed as she saw herself and then she opened to curtain to come out and show Frank, spinning as she appeared and then standing in front of him.

He waited patiently as Alice tried on her dress. Frank fiddled his thumbs and looked around the room again. Another woman came in and gave Frank a look, but he ignored her look and watched Alice's curtain.
Once she came out, Frank nearly fell out of his chair. Alice looked well, amazing nor gorgeous were strong enough words for it. His jaw was slightly opened. That was the sexiest he had ever seen her. The dress hugged her body in all the right places. He tried to get words out at first, but nothing would come out. He was just stunned, for lack of better term. "A-Alice," he finally croaked out. "That one is just, that one is just." Frank couldn't form a full sentence, and usually he would have been embarrassed, but he didn't care at the moment. "Wow," he breathed.

Alice's face flushed and she leaned down to kiss the wow he was breathing from his lips. "You like?" she whispered before standing again, watching him. "Is that a 5 I take it?" She was glowing with his response.

Frank couldn't take his eyes off of Alice. He couldn't describe it. During his stunned moment, he could have sworn he heard that dress witch laugh at him. When she kissed him, his face flushed. "Like doesn't begin to cover it," he said still looking her over. "And it's past a 5 I can tell you that." Frank took a hold of her arm before she could disappear behind the curtain. He kissed her quickly. "It's my favorite so far."

Alice smiled mischievously and escaped to disappear behind the curtain and set it off to the side as she slipped out of it. She put on the last black dress, which was completely backless and dipped low in the back exposing the soft spot at the base of her back and hips. The dress was knee high in the front and slopped longer in the back and with heels would have just barely missed the floor. The bodice draped in a sweep from one side at the bottom to the other side at the top into a halter around her neck. The fabric was a silk-like texture and clung to her curves, but the skirt flared out at just at her hips enough to fall gracefully in silken waves around her legs.
She stepped from the curtain one last time and smiled at Frank.

That dress Alice had had on before she disappeared behind the curtain made his mouth go dry. He continued to swallow in hopes that his dry mouth would go away. He sat back in the chair and waited patiently. Frank knew that Alice was enjoying it, and he was also. Frank was glad that he agreed to go with Alice today.
Before he knew it, Alice reappeared, and his mouth went dry again. Just like the other one, it hugged her body in all the right places. A smile spread across his face. "I love that one too." There weren't any words to describe that dress either. Although, the fabric made him want to reach out and touch it.

Alice smiled at Frank who seemed to be twitching his fingers on the arm of the chair. "And what would you think of this one... a 5 or.. " she let the question trail off trying to gauge his reactions compared to his other ones. This was the last dress she was going to try on today since she had at least 3 to pick from now.

"Oh, I think that one is above a 5 too," he said smiling. He liked it just about as much as he liked the one she had just tried on a few moments ago. Whatever dress she picked, Alice was going to look drop dead gorgeous. Frank might even drop when he would see her all dressed up. He was pretty excited about that. "Now, you have to pick which one. I won't peek, I promise. I'll give you money and then stand in the corner if I have to while the clerk puts it in a bag or whatever."

"Let me go change out of the dress and I'll be right back." She went back to the changing area, put on her sweater and jeans before refixing her ponytail that had gotten a bit messed from changing clothes and then walked back out with three dresses in hand. She took Frank's hand and lead him to the counter with her. "close your eyes and no peeking." As soon as his eyes were closed she picked one of the dresses and handed it to the clerk to put into a box and then a bag. She went and hung the other two dresses back on the racks and returned to Frank's side. "Okay you can open them." She grinned up at him.

Frank did as he was told and covered his eyes, and even turned his back while Alice picked her dress. He could have sworn he heard the clerk sort of laugh, but he didn't push it. He wanted to peek badly, but he kept his eyes shut.
Once she said he could turn around, he smiled at her and asked the clerk the price. Frank pulled out the right amount of money and turned to Alice. "There we go," he said kissing her quickly. "Now I've got to find a pair of dress robes. I don't think that should take too long considering there's not that many to choose from." He thanked the clerk and then took Alice's hand.

Alice put her hand in his and was happy at her perfectly his covered hers, and let him lead her out of the store and into the village. They strode down the street towards the shop he was leading her to and she imagined what he would think when he saw her in her dress without the ponytail in her hair, with sexy black heeled boots she already purchased earlier in the day and the few other things she'd gotten that she knew would look nice with the dress she had chosen.
Alice slid her arm under his, so that he could hold her closer as they walked..

He smiled as Alice became closer. He was also trying to picture what she was going to look like at the dance. Every way he pictured her, she looked beautiful beyond belief. Of course, she looked that way now and he knew his breath caught every time he looked at her, but the dance would be different. Frank wouldn't be surprised if he hit the floor when Alice would appear.
Frank led them into the shop and the clerk appeared with a smile. He walked over to the dress robe racks and found his size. Of course, he would have to try it on to make sure the sleeves or pants didn't have to be longer or shorter. "Do you mind waiting a few moments? I need to make sure it fits, and if you're good and patient, I might even show you what I look like in it." Frank gave her a smile and a kiss on the forehead. "Think you can do that?"

"I would wait for you forever if you asked me to," she said as she smiled up at him. She didn't mind, of course and she leaned up to kiss his cheek in response. She hoped she would get a chance to look at him in it. She thought he looked great in anything, but something about a man in dress robes made her spine shiver.

He smiled again. Frank would also wait forever if she asked him to. "I'll be ready in just a few minutes." He gently squeezed her to him, and then disappeared behind the dressing room curtain.
Frank stripped of his clothes and put on his dress robes. He looked in the mirror. Not half bad he thought to himself. Now, if he could just tie this tie he would be set. Frank fiddled with it, but he wasn't successful. Sighing, he looked in the mirror again. The sleeves were the perfect length, as was the pants. The shirt wasn't too big, nor to small, the same with the pants.
He stuck his head out of the curtain with a smile, and opened the curtain all the way as he stepped out. "I need you to help me with one thing though. I can't tie this," he said pointing to his bow tie. "I tried, but I don't know what I'm doing."

Alice chuckled, he was hopeless and she loved him for it. She hadn't grown up with brothers, but her father had shown her how to make a proper tie when she was younger. But really only because she'd been curious and had asked to learn. Her father had indulged her and even occasionally let her tie it when she asked to. It was one of those odd childhood memories that stuck with her, even though she wasn't very close to her family any longer. Once she'd been sorted into Gryffindor they'd lost what little interest they had in her as a lost cause daughter. But she still had good memories from them and for some reason Frank asking for help with his tie made her warm and fuzzy inside with sentiment.
"You're lucky it happens to be something I'm skilled at, love. Come here and let me see your tie." He had it on backwards to start with and she grinned at his cute hopelessness with a tie. She began to efficiently fix it, but her fingers were gentle and she took her time. "There all better. You look very dashing, Frank. Does this mean you'll need me to help you get ready for the dance too?" She grinned at the thought.

He walked on over to Alice and stood in front of her while she began to work on his tie. Frank looked down at Alice caringly as she tied his tie for him. She was so adorable while she tried to fix it for him. He wanted to reach up and pull her hair out of her ponytail and just play with it, but he couldn't do it in the shop.
Frank smiled as she finished it. "Thank you dear," he said. He was happy she liked it. "Well, to be honest, I need you all the time. Unless Kingsley can tie a bow tie or even want to tie it, then he could help me. However, if he doesn't then of course I'll need you to help me finish getting ready."

"How about I help you get ready before I go get myself ready then. I like being able to do things to help you, love." She smiled at him and was struck by just how handsome he was, and how lucky she was to have him love her. "You'll just have to keep me around in case you need help getting dressed." She winked.

"Oh I plan to keep you around for more than just me getting dressed," said Frank with a grin. "You mean more than that." He gave her a wink. "Now that you have seen me, I need to go back and change. Care to untie this for me? I'll probably get it messed up." The thought of Alice helping him dress was funny, yet adorable in a way.
"And you mean that I'm going to be all dressed up and everything before you get ready? Hm. That would leave me plenty of time to imagine what you look like."
