Healing

[Chloe Owen]

"You do need sleep. If you wake up and need anything just call for me," said Chloe making sure he was covered up. She smiled at him while his eyes were closed and grabbed the bag of water and headed for the kitchen. On her way out, she cracked his door.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris tossed and turned in her sleep. She was with Sirius one minute then she was fighting with Remus the next. She was back on the grounds talking to someone then he changed into a werewolf. Right as it bit her she sat up, she was shivering with fear.

[Skye]

Skye was standing out in the hall with Ashura when she heard a cry from the other room. "Oh, that must be Kris. I hope she is all right," she said. "I'd better check on her. I will be right back." She left the room and poked her head into the spare bedroom. "Kris, are you OK?"

[Kris Lupin]

Kris shook her head. "N-no." She said her voice shaking. She had tears streaming down her face and her breathing was shaky.

[Skye]

Skye moved into the room and sat on the edge of the bed. "I am sorry," she said softly. "You have been through a lot." She put her arms around the girl. "Come, cry. Let it out."

[Kris Lupin]

"It was like it was happening all over again...it was so real." Kris said tears streaming down her face.

[Skye]

"Shhhh," said Skye soothingly. "I know it is frightening. When I was finally able to speak again, I still had nightmares for a very long time. But it is over now. You are safe with us."

[Kris Lupin]

"I wish Sirius was here." Kris said. Just saying his name made the tears fall more.

[Skye]

"We can take you back to him whenever you are ready," Skye said softly, touching her cheek. "Just be sure that you are ready to go back to the school. You have been through a difficult time."

[Kris Lupin]

Kris nodded. "I don't think I'm ready yet." She said quietly.

[Skye]

"I understand," Skye said. "Is there anything I can do for you? Something you would like? I know when I am upset, I like to walk outside in the fresh air. Chloe has a nice garden in the back. Or maybe you would like some cocoa?"

[Kris Lupin]

Kris shook her head. "The only thing that helps is flying. Sirius was teaching me how to play Quidditch."

[Skye]

"Oh," Skye said. "I am afraid I cannot do that. Chloe probably has a broom, but I cannot use it. Maybe she will let you, though. You could ask her."

[Kris Lupin]

Kris smiled slightly. "That's alright. I'll be fine."

[Skye]

"Are you sure? Do you want to sleep some more? Or would you like to come outside with the rest of us? Karl is sleeping now, I think, and you just missed Zander. But we have a new girl here, she's not a pup, but she's new to the pack. Her name is Ashura. Would you like to meet her?"

(OOC:Yeah, OK, it'll be weird to "meet" yourself... but hey, it's something to do)

"Sure." Kris said whiping her eyes.

((Oh this will be fun lol))

Skye smiled and helped Kris to her feet. "Would you like to wash up first?" she asked.

Kris shook her head, "No."

[Skye]

Skye nodded. "OK," she said. "Just let me know if you need anything, OK? And we can take you back to the school whenever you want." She led Kris outside into the living room, where Ashura was standing. "Kris, this is Ashura." She smiled at them both.

[Kris Lupin]

"Hi." Kris whispered then looked up at Skye. "I think I'm ready to go back now."

Ashura smiled at the young girl then her mind wondered off to the outside.
