Healing

[Karl]

Karl struggled to sit up and let out a loud groan as the pain flared up in his shoulder again. "So, uh, Kris? How you like it here so far? We werewolves ain't so bad, are we?"

[Kris Lupin]

"I never thought they..er..we..were. Other then Greyback, I always hated him." Kris said leaning against the wall and looking at the floor.

[Karl]

"Well, cool," Karl said. He tilted his head and looked at her suspiciously. "Y'know, I think I seen you before. We ever meet before?"

[Kris Lupin]

"Well, there's the fact that I sorta look like my brother, Remus, and me and my boyfriend ran into a werewolf in the forest." Kris said looking up at him wondering if he was the one they ran into.

[Karl]

"Boyfriend, huh?" Karl said. "Hey, yeah, now I remember. Yeah, I saw you in the forest. I stole his shiny stick thing and was playing with it." He grinned. "Sorry if I scared ya. I jus' wanted to play."

[Kris Lupin]

"Scared? Me? Nah. I was terrified." Kris smiled. "It was his wand you took, but I got it after you left."

[Karl]

Karl grinned. "Sorry 'bout that. A wand... that's one of them things Zander and Chloe have, right? So you can do magic, then? I never learned magic. I was real small when I got bit. I was with Greyback until a few weeks ago, when I split to be with Zander and Pearl and Chloe."

[Kris Lupin]

"Yeah, I can do magic, but I had left my wand in my dorm at school. One of the dumbest things I've ever done." Kris said running her fingers through her hair.

[Chloe Owen]

"Wands don't really do much damage to werewolves, unless of course you know a few strong binding spells or something like that," said Chloe. "I learned that the hard way." Chloe sat the tray in Karl's lap. "I'm not sure if you'll like it, but it's the best I can do at the moment," she said. "And Kris, don't worry about leaving your wand, because you're senses will kick in soon, and the only thing you'll need your wand for is to do simple spells around school, and against other wizards, if you're in a duel, but that's about it."

[Karl]

Karl smiled at Chloe. "If you made it, I like it," he said, his cheeks turning pink. He began to eat.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris nodded as Chloe spoke. When Karl blushed she rose her eyebrows.

[Chloe Owen]

Chloe smiled. "I wasn't sure if you wanted any kind of juice, so I just brought you water instead. Although, if you do want some kind of juice, I can get you some," she said. "And I'm glad you like it," she said slightly flushing. "Um, Kris, if you want to, you can hang out here for the rest of the day, I'm sure that Dumbledore doesn't mind, and I don't have work, so it's okay."

[Karl]

"No, water's good. I don't like that sweet stuff," Karl said. He looked at Kris. "Yeah, you can stay... yiou ain't met the rest of the pack yet... Zander and Pearl, and David. Wonder where they got to, anyway?"

[Chloe Owen]

Chloe shrugged. "I dunno, but I know they'll probably end up here before the day's over with," said Chloe. "They may still be out in the woods. Although, if they're not back in a couple of hours, I guess I'll go look for 'em."

[Karl]

"That's a good idea," Karl said. He kept eating, but he was a little messy. "Sorry, I'm not so good with this thing," he said, holding up his fork. "Fenrir let us eat with our hands if we wanted." He loaded up his fork and stuffed it into his mouth, spilling half of it back onto the plate.

[Chloe Owen]

Chloe smiled. "Don't worry about it Karl. It's no big deal. The pancakes you can eat with your hands, and you can too with the bacon," said Chloe. "It takes just a little practice, and I promise you'll get good at it."

[Kris Lupin]

Kris yawned as she slid down the wall. She brought her knees up to her chest. She crossed her arms on her knees then rested her head on her arms. She yawned again as she closed her eyes.

[Karl]

Karl grinned as he looked over at the new pup. "Yeah, you need to get some sleep. You had a rough night," he said.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris smiled not moving to look at him. She fell alseep thinking about Sirius.

[Chloe Owen]

"I'll go put her in a bed," said Chloe. "I know she'll want to be comfortable," she said walking over to Kris. Chloe picked her up gently and carried her to another room. She made sure that Kris was in the bed and she gently shut the door as she walked out. Chloe walked back into the Karl's room. "I feel bad for her. Now Fenrir will probably be after her as well, so I'll just double my visits to the school and check up on both her and Remus," Chloe said sitting down on the side of the bed.
