Vincent grinned. "Well, come on, aren't you going to open it?" he said, placing the box in her hand.

"Yes," Emily said smiling. Emily took the box and opened it. She smiled again and walked over to Vincent and hugged him and gave him a kiss. "Thank you."

Vincent smiled and kissed her. "I'm glad you like it. I had to order it from a catalogue while I was in the hospital wing, but I thought you'd like it. It's not half as beautiful as you are, though."

Emily returned to her seat, with her face a light pink color. "Thank you, again," she said with a smile. "I'm going to send an owl to Isa in the morning to see if she would come over to the house and we could go ahead and pick out colors and such."

"You don't ever have to thank me, Em," Vincent said with a smile. "Well, that'll be nice. You two could use some time together. Maybe I'll see if Voltaire wants to do something, so he can give me some advice on married life."

"Sounds like you're going to have an interesting time then," Emily said with a laugh. "I'm glad Isa is going to get to do stuff instead of just laying around or something, but I know she's going to have her baby soon. I'm happy for Isa and Voltaire."

Vincent chuckled. "Something tells me Isabella isn't exactly the laying around type. It would take a lot to keep her down. But yeah.... I'm happy for them, too. I only hope we'll be as happy as they are. But I'm sure we will be."

"Absolutely," said Vincent. He reached across the table and took her hand. "Why don't you try on the ring? I want to see how it looks on your finger."

Emily smiled again and took the ring out of the box and slipped it on her finger, which was a perfect fit. "It's beautiful Vincent," she said with a smile and put her hand in his.

Becky walked back over to the table with the dessert menus. "Here you go," she said, handing the menus to them. "See anything that you like?"

Emily looked over the menu. "I think the chocolate cake looks good," she said with a smile at the waitress. "Thank you."

"Mmmmmm... chocolate cake..." said Vincent with a grin. "Yeah, chocolate cake works for me. Want to share, or should we get our own?"

Vincent nodded at the waitress. "Good. Thanks," he said to her as she walked away. He turned back to Emily. "So, where do you think you want to have the wedding? Do you want to do it at the school, like Isabella and Voltaire did? Or some place more small and private?"

Emily thought about it for a second. "Well, both things are good ideas. Although, I sort of like the idea of doing it at Hogwarts. Maybe out close to the lake, possibly."

Vincent smiled. "That might be a nice idea. It'll be spring, so it would be pretty... and Hogwarts is still safer than most places. I like that idea."

Emily gave Vincent a smile. "I think I'm going to have Isabella as the maid of honor and I then I think I'll have Rori and Anna, Voltaire's cousins that they adopted, as bridesmaids."
