"It's better," Vincent said hopefully. "I can't put weight on them yet, but yesterday I bent my left knee."

Emily grinned. "That's good news," she said grinning. "Oh by the way, there's this new guy in town. Or at least I've never seen him. He's name is Karl. Karl is sort of an odd person, not to be judgemental of him or anything. He drank his butterbeer and ate somewhat like a dog. He stopped in the Hog's Head yesterday."

"Hmmm. He sounds like a werewolf," Vincent said. "You might want to ask Zander about him. There's a good chance he knows him, at least a little bit."

"Alright. I'll see what I can find out about Karl. I mean he didn't seem like a bad werewolf. He was actually pretty nice, but still I'll talk to Zander later whenever I go back by the Hog's Head to check up on everything," said Emily. "You know things around here have been a little to quiet. Not that I don't mind it or anything, because I've been enjoying the quietness, because I've got to spend great time with you, but I can't help but wonder what's fixing to happen."

"Yeah, I've been thinking the same thing. Everything has just been too quiet. I hope nothing is going to happen, but I don't think Voldemort is going to just lie in wait much longer. Most likely, he's been gathering his forces and he's planning something. I just wish we had some idea what was going on." He frowned and took her hand "Just please, whatever you do, stay safe, OK? Keep your eyes and ears open at all times. I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to you."

Emily nodded. "I will be careful. Don't worry. Plus too, I won't really be out to much, unless I'm needed to be, so don't worry about me. OK?" she said squeezing his hand.

"OK. Especially don't go out at night, OK?" Vincent said. He smiled at her and kissed her hand. "We need to start planning our wedding, after all."

"Oh dear!" said Emily with a laugh. "That's going to be fun. Although, I don't want anything real big, you know? Something simple, not to complicated."

"Yeah, that sounds good. Do you want to have it at Hogwarts, or somewhere else? And of course, we'll have to have Isabella and Voltaire be Matron of Honor and Best Man..." He grinned.

"Well, I guess we could have it at Hogwarts," said Emily. She grinned. "Of course we could have them. Hopefully they just won't run off like they did at their wedding," she said with a laugh.

Vincent laughed. "Yeah, hopefully those two can stick around this time. If anyone gets to run out of the reception, it should be us." He gave her a little wink.

Emily laughed. "Running out of our own reception? That's not a half bad idea," said Emily grinning. "I'll get Isabella to help me pick out colors, unless of course you want to help me pick out colors and such."

He laughed. "You want it to look nice, right? Yeah, you don't want me picking out colors. I'm kind of color-blind. Yeah, talk to Isabella. Maybe it'll do her good to have something fun to focus on."

"Yeah, and then maybe she won't have to spend so much time worrying about the baby and how she looks and everything," Vincent agreed. "I'm excited, too. I can't wait to make you my wife. I don't know why I waited so long to ask you." He rubbed his thumb across the back of her hand.

A chill ran up Emily's arm as he rubbed his thumb on the top of her hand. She smiled. "Well, it's better to have waited and asked me, than not asked me at all."

"I knew I was going to marry you the minute I saw you. Of course, I was dressed up in my shlubby old bald guy disguise at the time, so I was pretty sure you didn't feel the same way..." he laughed. "I love you."
