He nodded. "Aye, she was. Thank you." He looked at the picture one more time, then put it back in his wallet. "Anyway, can I buy you another drink?"

Rochelle nodded. "Sure, why not," she said. "Drinks are better here anyway, although I try not to drink too much. I don't like hangovers, they're murder to me," she said with a slight laugh.

"Aye, you and me both, lass," Sully said with a chuckle. He waved over at the bartender. "Another firewhiskey for the lady, and one for me as well. Oh, and I'm sorry about the glass." He gestured to the floor, where the broken glass had been magically cleaned up. He smiled at Rochelle. "I do have a temper, as I'm sure you've noticed."

Rochelle smiled. "So I've noticed, but it's alright. No harm done," said Rochelle. "Everyone has a temper, and they show it different ways. I tend to yell, but here recently I haven't really had anything to get angry about, so I guess that's a good thing, but then again, I haven't really had anything to be happy about either."

"I think mine is particularly bad. Jessie used to call it my 'Scottish fire.' But she could always calm me down. And without her, I've had no one to calm me." He leaned back and looked at her. "I have to say, though, I feel calmer with you than I have in a while."

Rochelle smiled again. "Well, I'm gald that you feel calm," she said. "I wouldn't want you to get angry and go on a rampage," said Rochelle with a small laugh. There was something about Sully that just made her feel more herself than just what she was, which is something no one had be able to do.

"Well, enough about me," Sully said, waving his hand. "I'll not have you thinkin' I only think about meself. Tell me, lass, what do you do? You said you weren't good with magic, so what do you do?"

Rochelle shrugged a little. "Nothing really. I just travel around, and if I find an odd job that's suitable, I'll do it. Although, I can't say that I've found many nice jobs," said Rochelle. "My parents wanted me to become a spy one day, and I had always dreamed of it, but I never became one. I decided that I would rather travel the world on my own time."

"Ah, OK," Sully said. "You're a bit like me, really. Sure, I'm a werewolf hunter, but it doesn't pay much. So I take odd jobs here and there, just to pay the bills. At the moment, I'm between jobs. Well, you could probably find a job in one of the shops here. I could help you, if you like."

Rochelle thought for a moment. "Okay. If you don't mind," she said with a smile. "I need a little extra to pay for the rent for my apartment, and a little knick knack stuff," said Rochelle. "I guess I could look starting tomorrow."

He smiled. "All right, then. Maybe we can both look together." Zander walked over with their drinks, and Sully took them both, handing one to Rochelle and taking a sip of the other. "Thanks," he said to Zander. Looking back at Rochelle, Sully shook his head. "I really shouldn't drink this," he said. "Too often I get drunk, and when I get drunk I lose my temper even more. Are you scared of me yet?"

Rochelle shook her head. "There's nothing really to be scared of," said Rochelle. "No offense to you or anything. Let's just say, throughout my life, I've been able to grasp the whole 'I don't scare that easily'. Which is true." Rochelle took a drink. "I won't let you get too drunk. Wouldn't want you to go off and start fighting people now would we?"

"Thanks," Sully said. "So, tell me, you say your brother's girlfriend was a werewolf. What else do you know about werewolves? Do you know any others?"

"Well, I do know a few that were in the same pack as she was in," said Rochelle. "Although, they were very nice. She told me that they could take a choice in either controlling themselves, or just let the wolf take over. She also said that there are a lot of wolves who decide to control themselves, because of the fact that they want to live as normal of a life as they can," she said. "I also learned that the ones who prefer the wolf to take over tend to be uncomfortable in their human body."

"Really?" said Sully. "I always thought they were all the same. All the ones I've met have been pretty much the same. But maybe I've been wrong..." The thought troubled him and he took a long drink from his glass.

Rochelle gave a little shrug. "Not all wolves are the same. Most of them only want to be treated normal and seen for who they really are, not what they are," said Rochelle. "Well, that's what I've been told."

He nodded slowly. "I didn't think about that," he said quietly. It was always easier to think of werewolves as monsters, and not as humans. The ones he had met in their human forms had been mostly rough and coarse and uncomfortable with their human forms. He had never thought that some might still want to be human. The thought unsettled him.

"Well, don't worry about it. The ones who want normal lives tend to blend in more with the rest of the human race and the others seem so out of place and uncomfortable," said Rochelle. "They're a lot easier to find." She ended up finishing her drink within 2 more swallows and setting down her cup. Rochelle ordered her another, which is something she normally didn't do, but right now, she felt like she could use one, because some thoughts that where in her head were not the kind she wanted to be thinking at the moment.

He nodded. "Yeah... I guess you're right," he said. He finished his drink and ordered another. "So, you said you're new in town," he said, trying to change the subject. "Where are you staying? Do you have a place to stay?"

"Yeah, I'm pretty much new here," said Rochelle. "I do have a place to stay. It's right above here." Rochelle took another drink. Maybe she shouldn't be on her third one, she thought. She didn't really have to drink that many drinks in order to become drunk. Although, her words didn't slur together, Rochelle's head started to feel a little swimy, so she slowed down on her intake.
