Sully finished his coffee and smiled at her. "Well, I suppose you're right. And after all, what have I got to lose? I've come pretty close to hitting rock bottom, and I suppose there's no where to go but up. I'm warning you, though. I don't think this is going to be easy. I'll try to keep my temper in check, but sometimes.... things just get the better of me. But I'll tell you what. I feel more relaxed with you than I have in a long time." He waved at the waitress for a refill of his coffee. "How about you?" he asked, pointing to her coffee cup. Do you need another?"

"I could use a refill," said Rochelle moving her cup towards the end of the table. She thanked the waitress and turned back to Sully. "I'm glad you feel relaxed. Don't worry about your temper. It'll be alright. I'll stay around no matter what. I can't leave and let you get more depressed now can I?"

He smiled and took a sip from his cup. "No, I guess not," he said. "But... thanks." He ate some more of his biscuit and was surprised to notice that his headache was starting to go away. "So tell me, what kind of job do you want to look for? What kind of skills have you got?"

"No problem," said Rochelle. "I'm just looking for just about anything," she said. "I've done waitressing once, and a few other jobs like that."

He nodded. "OK. Well, if you're up to it, we can try looking in a few places. There's a few bars, a nightclub, and a restaurant around here. I mostly do fix-up type jobs... sometimes cleaning. Nothing exciting, just something to pay the bills, as they say." He looked around. "I wonder if this place needs any help."

"Well, I'll see what I can find. I guess I'll go and visit those places after breakfast," said Rochelle. "You know, it never hurts to ask if they need help."

"Yeah, that's a good idea," Sully said. "I guess I'll do the same. It's really too bad that the school term is almost over. I could do some maintenance work over there, but I don't imagine there will be much to do over there when the kids aren't around."

"Well, maybe you could go right after term. You know they'll probably want to fix up and get ready for the next term," said Rochelle. "It never hurts to try."

"Yeah, maybe," Sully said. He finished his second cup of coffee and smiled at her. "Well, what do you think? Are you ready to go?"

Rochelle finished what she wanted of her second cup. "I guess I am. I just hope that if they ask for an interview, I don't fall asleep," she said with a laugh. Rochelle reached in her pocket and placed a few galleons on the table to pay for both of their orders and stood up.

Sully chuckled. "Aye, that wouldn't be good, would it?" He added a few galleons to hers and stood up. "All right, then, where should we go first?"

"It doesn't really matter. Why don't we just walk around and see what place seems more interesting," said Rochelle. "I'm not that picky."

"All right," he said. He walked over and opened the door for her. "After you, then."

Rochelle smiled and headed out the door. She walked slowly so he'd catch up with her. "After we look around, I need to do a little shopping."

He nodded. "OK, that's fine," he said. "What kind of shopping do you need to do?"

"I need a few more outfits," said Rochelle. "Other than that, I think I'm good." As Rochelle was walking she brought her hand up and stratched her other arm, but as she was lifting it, her hand brushed Sully's and she felt goosebumps on her arm. "Sorry," she said quietly.

Sully shivered slightly as she touched his hand. "No, it's all right," he said in a low voice. He managed a light smile, but suddenly he couldn't breathe. "Well, I... I think there's a clothes store not far from here. I think they even have some muggle clothes. I actually prefer them myself... Never really cared for robes."

"The robes weigh you down," said Rochelle. "That's the thing I hate about them, and that's the main reason why I never wear them." She glanced at Sully out of the corner of her eye, then moved her eyes back front, to watch where she was going. "You know, I may just try to see if I can't get a job in the clothing store."

"Aye, they do. That's why I don't like them," Sully agreed. "That sounds like a good idea. That way, you can do your shopping and your job searching at the same time." He felt a strange urge to hold her hand as they walked, but he managed to resist it.

Rochelle nodded. "Hopefully I can do that. That means I wouldn't have to walk a lot more, and be even more tired," she said with a small laugh. Once they arrived at the clothing store, Rochelle held the door open for Sully.
