Diana had missed the lead, though she didn't say it. She too enjoyed being in control, and it was necessary sometimes as Christian had a tendency to dominate things from the start. No wonder their previous relationship had fizzled out.
Diana stealthily made her way to the main bedroom, the lights were off. She cast a silencing spell on the room this time before silently opening the door. To her surprise the bed was empty. "Damn. They must be out on deck still."

Christian didn't skip a beat as he suggested they find Ling instead of waiting around for him to return. He was eager to have some of the control back, and to get the job done. They'd be one step closer to Alyx but more immediately he would be one step closer to a romantic cruise with a primarily nude Diana.
"We can easily bring him back here to take care of it, but there's no sense in waiting for Ling to return. It could be hours."

Diana nodded by way of agreement. She too wanted to get this mission over with. She wanted to get all these missions over with and killing Ling was the first step.
She conjured a casual summer dress to blend in with the crowd. As they neared the deck she heard music, something hypnotic and sensual. She nodded her head in the direction of the music, and her hips began to sway before they even reached the dance floor. It was the most likely place to find Ling.

The edge of the dance floor was crowded with onlookers, making it near impossible to find Ling from the outside. Luckily Diana's hips had swayed them through the thick of people and out onto the dance floor where they had a much better view of the faces.
Christian's hands guided Diana's hips and he was brought back to their first night together at the nightclub. If their fervor for each other was as intense by half, Christian was in for a wild night. And if the intensity in which she fought for her life was half as strong, Ling didn't stand a chance.

Diana found it hard to concentrate on the mission with Christian's hands on her hips. She found it difficult to concentrate when Christian was around period. Their frantic passion this morning, their intimacy now, the chaos that was Diana's life, it enveloped her and exhausted her to the point that she wanted to melt into him.
She too was reminded of their shared dance not too long ago. She thought about it and realized that she must have gotten pregnant that first night. She turned to face him, her arms swaying gently over her head.
She was inconspicuously looking around the room for Ling, but damn if she didn't want to drag Christian off of the dance floor.

Christian scanned the dancers and the crowd in sections, making sure to cover every inch of the surrounding deck. Then he spotted him. Ling was a middle aged man, but by the looks of him he could easily keep up with twenty-somethings. And by the look of his date, he was doing just that.
"There he is," Christian whispered into Diana's ear before he dipped her in Ling's direction. Ling was wearing a blue suit with an opened jacket and no tie. He looked very much the part of a business man, right down to the diamond cuff links he wore that sparkled when the colorful lights from the dance floor hit them.

Ling was in good shape, as opposed to Hadelman, Sanchez, and O'Grady, Ling took pride in his physique as well as his looks.
Diana pressed herself against Christian as he pulled her back up from the dip. She turned so her back was against his chest and leaned up to whisper in his ear, "How do you want to play this?"

Christian continued to scan the faces, this time focusing on the crowd that trimmed the dance floor. If Ling had any guards with him, they'd be nearby watching. "Do you see any of his men?" he asked her as the song changed.

"I don't think so." she told him having scanned the area around them. Since her father had died the board members salaries were dependent on Diana, which was part of if not the main reason they thought to get rid of her. She had virtually cut them off, but since they were so ingrained in the company she knew they had hidden assets which is what many of them had been living off of. As Diana became more proficient at taking the men out they began hiring expensive bodyguards. Diana surpassed all their wildest expectations as far as putting up a fight went.
The cruise they were on now was quite expensive, even if Ling had managed to secure one or two guards, there was no way they would have to fight an army to get to him which is why Diana suggested the cruise in the first place.

Christian evaluated their target again. He was dressed impeccably, not the type to move past it if something spilled on him. And no one would second guess his actions if he left the dance floor covered in something. His white shirt was basically asking for a stain.
"Go get a drink," he told Diana. "Something colorful." Christian stayed and kept an eye on Ling and his date who looked as though she was probably a good 15 years younger than him.

She nodded, "You head back to the room and I'll meet you there."
In the end Diana settled for a red wine having read Christian's mind. She had both the glass and the bottle for later. She would take care of getting the couple to return to their room, and Christian would need to be there ahead of time. Diana would bring up the rear and the couple would be trapped.
Diana stumbled and swayed. She let loose a "Whoooo!" while walking backward toward her target, she turned around suddenly her red wine staining the front of his shirt completely.
Ling cursed.
"Oh my god!" she slurred, "I can't believe that just happened!" she stared dumbly at him "I'm soooo sooo sorry." she said stumbling once more. She picked up a nearby napkin and dabbed at his shirt.
While he was initially very annoyed, Diana's sensual dabbing was taking his mind off of his anger. She gave him a lazy seductive look, "I don't think this is coming out." she purred, "Maybe we could go back to your room and uh...get you into something a little more comfortable." she said practically mouthing the words over his lips.
While Ling's anger evaporated entirely the blonde next to him began to seethe. She viciously pulled Ling away from Diana.
"What's a matter with you!" she hissed pulling on his arm and dragging him back to their room.
Diana pouted and waited until the couple were out of sight before following them.

In addition to the silencing charm Diana had used on the room, Christian included an anti-disapparation jinx. He didn't want Ling to get spooked and make a run for it. Christian leaned against the wall, covered in shadows as he waited.
It wasn't long before he heard footsteps approaching, then the shrill voice of a woman who was not Diana. The door opened and Ling, along with his young girlfriend, entered the room. The blonde was complaining about Ling letting "that harlot rub all over you!" Christian's lip curled into a sneer.
He waited until Diana joined them to make his presence known.

Diana entered the room only moments after the pair.
"I'd watch the name calling princess, at least my dress covers my assets." she said leaning back to see the girl's dress rising up her legs further. Utterly tasteless.
Ling spun around as well as his girlfriend at Diana's voice only to find himself at wandpoint.

"What the bloody hell?" Ling shouted as he saw the wand drawn on him.
"Such language in front of the ladies," Christian said with a grin, coming out from the shadows on the opposite side of the room. His wand was also pointed at the pair. "Now, I'm sure you've figured out who she is," Christian nodded his head in Diana's direction, "so I'm sure you can also figure out what we want to know."

Diana motioned for them to move further into the room where Christian and Diana could face them together.
"Alan, what's going on?!" his girlfriend asked moving behind Ling.
"Shut up, Chrissy." he hissed, "I don't know anything. I didn't want to have anything to do with this." he said trying to bargain against their sympathy.

It was unlucky for Ling's girlfriend; Chrissy, that Christian had absolutely zero sympathy for the man. Christian turned his wand slightly, pointing it at the blonde, and sent the Cruciatus Curse at her. She screamed and twisted in pain, dropping to her knees as her body writhed. He released the curse.
"There's a striking difference between not wanting and not doing. We're not interested in whether you wanted to have anything to do with it. We're interested in what you know. And my guess is your girlfriend won't last too long, then it will be your turn. So I'd think long and hard about what you decide to say next."

Diana watched emotionless as Chrissy was tortured.
Ling looked panicked between Diana's presence, Christian's eerie command, and Chrissy's screaming.
"I don't know anything! I swear I don't know anything. Oh God Please no! Please don't! Stop!" he said shifting his eyes to both of them.
"Surely you know something. Copperbottom's whereabouts. Any details about the final board member. Come on Ling, give me something."

"I didn't even know about the others! Please!"
Christian, tired of hearing the same thing from each of these men, had had enough. Without warning he yelled, "Avada Kedavra!" The room lit up green and Chrissy's screams died away as her body went limp.
Christian stepped closer to Ling. He was truly a terrifying sight; his eyes cold and black, no remorse for the life he had just taken. Ling was on his knees now, pleading for mercy as Christian towered over him. "Know that she died in tremendous pain because of you. Her death is a black mark upon your soul and you will carry it with you to the other side." Another green flash and Ling's body had slumped onto Chrissy's in a heap.

Something suddenly stirred in Diana. "Christian wait-" but it was too late both Ling and his girlfriend were dead.
A sickness grew at the sight of the dead bodies in front of her, as well as the callous method in which they died without dignity or care. While her emotions were on high alert, the idea that even Ling and his partner had parents somewhere at some time. At one point they were just babies themselves, loved by their parents. And now she felt dirty. What was happening to her?
"They might have talked." she said quietly.

Christian turned slowly to face Diana, the cold look still present in his eye. "Excuses and pleas," he responded. "They knew nothing. Or did you forget that I can see what they saw?" Christian didn't require interrogations to get the job done, they were just easier on him. He was not as skill at Legilimency as Lord Voldemort, it took a lot of effort for him still. But he knew that Ling had no information for them and there was no point in prolonging the inevitable. He had grown tired of the blubbering that came with these murders. Luckily, there were only two left now.
Unbeknownst to Diana, Christian already had the location of Bingsley Copperbottom. The contract Christian held on Diana's head was ordered by Copperbottom and the due date was looming nearer. All they needed was to find the remaining board member, then Christian would be free to take out Copperbottom without worrying that a replacement hit wizard would be hired to finish the job.
