Coda had changed into her wolf form and was looking for her family... her wolf family. She couldn't find them, they must have moved on, but what if she lost control of herself? What if she hurt someone? Coda stopped and sat down whining what was she going to do now? She looked at the moon then howled and sad and lonesome howl.

Skye was with Karl, Chloe, and some of the others when she transformed. Zander and Pearl were supposed to be getting Remus and Kris and taking care of them in the woods close to the camp, so tonight, they were on their own. As she ran through the forest, she let out a howl, then stopped to sniff the air. There was another wolf's scent here, one she did not recognize. She ran toward it suspiciously.

Coda hung her head then looked around again she sniffed the ground trying to get a scent. She whined once more then sat on the ground then she sniffed the air and smelled a wolf, someone she didn't know. Then she smelled the pack that was always trying to hurt her. She looked around as she stood up, she heard a growl then saw Goss and his pack jump at her. Goss lunged at Coda causing her to slam into a tree and making Coda yelp.

As Skye attempted to follow the scent, she heard a growl, then a yelp of pain, from up ahead. She yipped to Karl, who was just behind her, to follow her. If there was a fight, maybe they could stop it. She sniffed the air again, and realized that there were other wolves ahead... not werewolves. But the first scent she had smelled was of a werewolf. There was definitely trouble...

Karl yipped in response and ran ahead of her. He still felt that Skye was fragile, and he wanted to protect her. If something was happening up ahead, he needed to be the first one on the scene. He didn't stop to sniff the air, but instead followed the sounds up ahead.

Coda was never taught how to fight because she always had Tis and Sauris to protect her. All she could do was try to get away but everytime she did Goss' pack members would snap at her. Goss growled as if asking 'not going to fight back?' he barred his teeth then jumped on her his teeth going in her arm. Coda howled in pain trying to get away and get him off her and to let go.

Chloe transformed with Skye, Karl, and a few others, then followed beside Karl as they wondered through the woods. She heard the growling and yelping from ahead and started to run along beside Skye as Karl ran ahead.

The other wolves started biting Coda as well at each bite Coda yelped. She struggled under all the wolves, though she knew it was useless as they knew how to fight. She howled as if calling for help, not knowing if anyone was around to help her.

Karl heard the howl and took off even faster, running in the direction of the sound. He let out a warning howl, calling out to the attackers to leave. Finally he arrived at the spot and found a group of wolves attacking a werewolf. He growled and pounced on the one that seemed to be the leader, his claws sinking into his flesh.

Goss roared in pain and as he hit the ground the other wolves backed away from Coda. Coda slid down the tree and laid on the ground panting and whimpering. She watched as Goss slashed at the werewolves face.

Chloe ran to the werewolf and stood by her, ready to fight off any wolf that came close to her. She glanced back at the werewolf and started to lick the wounds to try to stop any bleeding, glancing up every now and again to check to see if anyone was coming close.

Karl backed up only slightly as the wolf slashed at his face, drawing blood. He licked his lips, tasting the blood that stained his fur. Baring his teeth in a snarling growl, he retaliated with a slash close to the wolf's eyes, while he pushed on the wolf with the other paw.

Goss barked at his pack and they retreated into the woods. He struggled and got free he barked at Coda as if telling her she'd see him again. Coda shivered then whined at the pain the shiver caused, she looked up at the werewolf licking her wounds thankful.

Skye arrived as the wolves were retreating into the woods. She ran first to Karl, who had a few ugly gashes on his face and side, and, seeing that he was fine, rushed over to the smaller werewolf that Chloe was guarding. She sniffed at the werewolf, and vaguely recognized the scent. She laid down next to the werewolf and tried to keep her warm.

Karl chased the wolves away from the area, running a good distance into the woods. Once he was sure they were far enough away, he let out an angry warning howl, making sure they would not return. Then he ran back to the area where Chloe and Skye were guarding the fallen pup. He yipped to Chloe, indicating that she should lie down next to the pup, while he stood guard against any more intruders.

Chloe looked up when Skye came up and laid down next to the pup. While Karl ran into the woods, Chloe remained standing making sure that most of the bleeding had stopped. After he returned and yipped, she glanced at him, noticing his gashes, but he would be alright, so she finally laid down next to the pup.

Coda whined in pain as she moved a little, she closed her eyes wanting to be with Tis.

Skye heard the pup whimpering, and she leaned closer and began licking her wounds. It was going to be a long night, but she was sure the pup would make it.

When the pup fell asleep, Skye laid her head down close by and allowed herself to rest as well. As long as the pup was comfortable, she should be safe to sleep through the night. She knew that Karl would look out for any intruders.
