Cara was overwhelmed. She had pulled Amandine to her in the courtyard, hugging her close for a long time, and then pulling Sheena in as well.
Mathieu answered for her, telling the girls what was wrong, which was good; she didn't know if she would be able to. She didn't think her voice was working right now.
In the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey's words sent her into a very quiet state so that she wouldn't break down. She made a mental checklist. Her husband was fine. Cyrus was bad off, but safe, Sheena and Ama were safe and unharmed. That left Roland, Jamie, and Liam to fend for themselves.
She put her hand on Mathieu's arm. "I have to go back. Two of our children are still there."

Mathieu shook his head and put his hands on her shoulders. "No, Cara... you're in no shape to go back out there. You're too upset. I can do it, and I'll bring back both of our sons. I promise. You just stay here with Cyrus and Amandine."
He pulled her into a hug, then kissed her softly. Now that he at least knew Cyrus was going to live, he could focus on the other children. This gave him a new determination, and his eyes were unwavering as he looked at his wife. "I'll be careful, and I'll be back before you know it."

Cara's eyes met his and her jaw set, worry written all over her face. She didn't want to worry about Mathieu, too, but she knew he was right. Some part of her listened to her Auror training and knew that he would be the better choice to go back right now.
She nodded. "Be careful," she said, even though he already assured her that he would be. If it was just Roland, then she would deal with it, but the thought of Jamie out there, as well as Judah's family, and Christine... "Try and find my sister's daughter, if you can."

Hayden gotten the message about the attack on Hogsmeade as well. At the moment, he was working as a healer at St. Mungo's while he attempted to find out if there were any deatheaters there. Luckily for him, he was stuck inbetween becoming a healer or auror, so he did know what he was doing.
He knew that Liam and Sheena were at the school, and Cyrus just bailed on him. With all three of them, that raised his worries even more. Cyrus could have gotten himself hurt, or even killed with the way he left.
Hayden made his way to the school quickly and went to the Hosptial wing. The only healers there were Madam Pomfrey and Jon Thomas. He was sure that Jon was clean, so he wasn't ever worried about him. His eyes scanned for his family and found his Aunt Cara first. He walked over quickly, even though Madam Pomfrey was over there. "Ah, Cyrus," said Hayden with an 'aw man' type of tone. He shook his head. Why didn't he stop him before he left?

Cara turned at his voice, not expecting it.
"Oh, Hayden," she said, throwing her arms around him. She wanted to ask about the rest of his family, Suri and Judah and Liam, but kept quiet. At least Sheena had one of her brothers here now.
"You're all right?" She asked.

"Aunt Cara," said Hayden as he put his arms around her too. "Yes, I'm just fine. I got the word at St. Mungo's and got here as fast as I could. I thought that Madam Pomfrey could use another person to help her out." He gave a gentle smile to his aunt. "Are you alright?"
He looked back to Cyrus. "What happened to him? He just ran off from me and I didn't know where he was going or anything."

Just like everyone else, Judah knew that there was an attack on Hogsmeade. He couldn't make it to the attack, but he did make it to the school. His worries were on his family mostly, but as well as the children that ended up getting hurt. He wished that he did make the attack to he could have prevented some from getting hurt.
Rushing into the school, Judah looked around and didn't see Liam or Sheena anywhere. A light panic hit him. Where were they? They weren't back in Hogsmeade where they? He rushed up the stairs toward the hospital wing, hoping that he could find them.
Judah entered the hospital wing, looking over faces until he saw a group of people. "Mathieu! Cara! Good godric!" Relief hit him whenever he saw his brother and sister-in-law. He also noticed Hayden was hugging her. "Hayden!" After Cara released Hayden, Judah pulled him into a hug, then he hugged Amadine and Sheena as well. He looked to the two girls. "Are both of you alright?"

Mathieu was relieved to see Hayden and Judah. Anyone who showed up was someone he didn't have to worry about.
"Judah, I'm glad you're here. We're all fine here, except for Cyrus... but Jamie and Roland are still out there somewhere... no one knows where Liam or Suri are. I'm going back out there to see if I can find them... will you sit with Cara?" He leaned close and whispered, "Keep her calm."

His face fell a little when he said that no one knew where Suri nor Liam were. He started worrying again. Judah couldn't help it, it was just in his nature to start worrying, if he didn't usually show it. Jamie and Roland were probably still at Hogsmeade, and that caused even more worry for him. Judah would keep his cool and calm appearance for the people around him.
"Yeah, of course I'll stay," he said. At Mathieu's whisper, Judah nodded. "I'll do my best," he whispered in return.

Cara reluctantly let go of Hayden when Judah arrived. "I'm okay," she told her nephew. "Poppy says that Cyrus will be okay. I can't imagine why he would just run off like that." The fact that he had been worried about Lina and Mara never entered her mind.
She nodded at Judah. "I'm glad you're all right," she told him, letting Mathieu have his moment with his brother.

Mathieu thanked his brother, then turned to Cara, kissing her softly. "It's going to be OK. I'm sure they're all fine."
He was actually terrified for Jamie, in particular, but he wasn't going to let her see that. He had to believe they were all OK, or he would break down. "I'll be back soon."
He gave Amandine a quick squeeze, and then he dashed out of the hospital wing and down the hall to the stairs.

Liam was on the ground floor, in the now thinning group of students that had been ushered inside. He was looking for his sister and his cousins, worried that they were scared. They weren't hurt... he would have known. He had a bad feeling about Cyrus, but he was an adult and an auror, and could handle himself. It was the two girls and Jamie he needed to find.
"Sheena?" They were nowhere in the Ravenclaw commom room, or here, or the library, and he didn't really know where to go next.

Mathieu was running down the stairs, but came to an abrupt halt as he came across the groupd of students that were still wandering around, looking for friends and loved ones. He scanned the group until he recognized one of them. "Liam!" he called, running up to his nephew and pulling him into a hug. "I'm glad you're here. Sheena, Hayden, and your father are all up in the hospital wing. They're fine... Cyrus is injured. I'm going back to town to see if I can find Jamie and Roland and your mother."

Sheena yelled, comming around from her aunt and hugging her brother and father. "Have you seen Liam or Mom?" she asked them. She was starting to panic a little now. |

As the hospital wing began to fill up with Fererra's, Ama sat beside her mother, holding her hand and lying her head on Cara's shoulder. Her foot tapped impatiently, still angry at Jamie for yelling at her and not comming back to the castle. She smiled at Hayden and her Uncle Judah, glad that more of her family was okay, but she knew she wouldn't be back to normal until everyone was back safe.

Judah put a hand on Sheena's shoulder and he looked down at her. "Mathieu is going to see if he can find them." He kept his cool like he was trained to do. "They'll be here shortly, don't worry." He gave her a smile of reassurance and gave her a look over to make sure that she wasn't hurt or anything.
"You weren't hurt or anything were you?"

"I'm fine Daddy," Sheena reassured her father. "I wasn't even there, I was in the common room and went to go find Ama and Liam," she said. "I haven't seen Liam though..." she said. Sheena really couldn't remember if her brother had said he was going to Hogsmeade or not.

Liam was a little caught off guard when his uncle found him, but he barely had time to respond. He nodded. "Okay, I'm going up. Be careful," he added, thankful that the majority of his family was here. As soon as Uncle Mathieu left, Liam took the stairs two at a time, rushing to get to his sister at least.
"Sheena!" He called, seeing her before anyone, and rushed over.

"Liam!" She saw her brother run into the hospital wing behind her father and she rushed past Judah and latched onto Liam. "Oh thank godric you're safe," she said. Now all she needed to find was her mother, Sheena would feel a lot better. So far, her brothers and dad seemed to be fine. She held onto Liam as they walked over to the other Fererras.

Liam felt an overwhelming sense of relief as his sister latched onto him. She was okay, thank Merlin, she was okay. He held her just as close as she lead him to the rest of the family, and he hugged Amandine as well and looked over each of the older Ferreras, assessing their health for himself. Uncle Mathieu had been right... it was just Cyrus that needed the attention.
