Hogsmeade Under Fire (THE ATTACK)

[Jeremy Swift]

Jeremy had butterflies in his stomach as he hurried over to Ravenclaw tower to meet up with Alenna. He was supposed to take her to Hogsmeade, along with Nolan and Julia.

This was his first time going to Hogsmeade with a girl that he liked as more than just a friend. Even though he was taking her to the dance, he wasn't really sure what they were to each other yet. It was all too new. He hadn't even told Nolan just how much he liked Alenna.

As he approached the entrance to the Ravenclaw common room, he took a deep breath and leaned against the wall to wait for her. He hoped she wouldn't take long.

[Amandine Ferrera]

Ama had convinced Jamie to spend the day with her in Hogsmeade. The two were curently walking around, admiring the shops and thay had passed Honeydukes. "Jamie, can we go in there?" Amandine asked, her sweet tooth kicking in. Before he answered, she grabbed his hand and dragged him toward the sweet shop.

[Alenna Gavin]

Alenna finished getting ready and gave herself a once over in the mirror. Happy with her apperence, she smiled and grabbed her purse.

Jeremy was going to pick her up from the Ravenclaw tower and she hoped she hadn't kept him waiting long. She left the common room and found him leaning against the wall. Alenna smiled brightly and walked up to him. "Hey Jeremy," she said. "Ready to go?"

[Jamie Ferrera]

It wasn't unusual that Jamie was with Amandine. Truly, he loved his little sister, and she knew a lot about him. But he hadn't told her about Scarlette yet, he wasn't sure what to say. As laconic as he was, he had barely said anything to Ama all day. He was trying to find an excuse to make sure she wouldn't find him with Scarlette, or make her feel like she was being ditched. Of course she wasn't, he was just going to hang out with someone else. A girl. Whom he wanted to be alone with.

As he got dragged into the Sweet Shop, he smiled at Ama and her insistant ways. She was just as stubborn as the rest of the family.

[Jeremy Swift]

Jeremy smiled shyly at the sight of her. She took his breath away, as she always did, with her dazzling smile. For a second he couldn't speak, so he cleared his throat. "No, not long at all," he said. Actually, it felt like hours, but that was just because he was nervous.

He held out his hand to her, hoping that his palm wasn't damp. "You look really pretty."

[Amandine Ferrera]

Amandine brought Jamie inside the sweet shop and moved quickly toward the chocolate. As she was deciding which ones she'd like to buy, Amandine realized how laconic her big brother Jamie was being. "Okay Jamie, spill it." she said, facing Jamie and placing her hands on her hips.

[Jamie Ferrera]

Jamie looked up at her and yawned, badly, as if to signify he was just exhausted. He was a terrible liar, and both of them knew it. He picked up a lollipop shaped like a red rose and raised an eyebrow. Jamie put it in his pocket, pulling out a sickle to pay for it. He'd give it to Ama later as an apology for leaving her. He felt terrible about it still, but really didn't want to explain quite yet. He averted his gaze subconsciencely before responding with, "Excuse me?"

[Alenna Gavin]

Alenna took his hand and together they walked down the great staircase, Alenna assumed, to meet up with Nolan. "Thanks," Alenna said, blushing. "you don't look too bad yourself," she replied. They continued walking hand-in-hand and Lennie silently thought about what exactly she and Jeremy were. He of course had asked her to the ball, in which she replied to the afermative, but NOW where did they stand.

[Amandine Ferrera]

"Tired?" She asked, her tone saying she didn't really believe him, but would go along with it for now. She picked some of her favorites - chocolate frogs - and went to the cash register, handing the man that was running the counter 2 sickles and 3 knuts. "How come Noah and Collin didn't come along?" she asked, changing the subject.

[Andromeda Tonks]

Andi was silent as she walked with Sirius and his friends toward the center of town. She was trying to figure out what it was that she was sensing in the air, but she just couldn't put her finger on it. All she knew was that something was wrong... terribly wrong. Had the something already happened? Or was it still about to happen?

She could see two figures up ahead, and she felt an apprehensive twisting in her stomach. She couldn't tell at this distance whether they were friends or foes.

"Get behind me," she ordered Sirius. "All of you. Now."

"Yea, let's just fill the hyper 12 year old up with sweets," Bek laughed. She stood up and wiped the snow off her robes. "Come on Gaget, the love birds here will follow shortly," she winked at Maxi before leading the excited Ravenclaw off to the sweets shop.

"Yes dear lets follow," Seth said, standing up and giving Maxi a hand. The two followed Bek and Gage toward the sweet shop. "So did I tell you Gage found a date to the ball?" Seth asked Maxi. The friends had been worried Gage wouldn't find one, due to his social shyness. "He's going with Lily Evans, that Gryffindor 2nd year."

[Maxi Borale]

"Oh how sweet," Maxi said. She didnt really know Lily all that wall, but she assumed that if Gage had asked her to the ball, she must be a sweet kid. They reached Honeydukes and folloewd Bek and Gage inside. Maxi went toward the sugar quills and looked at them absently. She picked one up and showed it to Seth.

"Do you think these will help me in the second task?" Maxi asked, smiling at Seth.

[Seth Inophen]

Seth took the sugar quill from Maxi and looked at her, he had a bright smile and a raised eyebrow. "Do you?" Seth laughed. Then he grabbed a handfull of the quills. "Then you're going to need a lot, want you to have a perfect score in the second task don't we?" Seth laughed, going up to pay for the sweets and taking Maxi along with him.

[Lily Evans]

Lily walked into Honeydukes and breathed deeply. She loved the smell of Honeydukes... it smelled of sugar and chocolate and marshmallows. She broke into a smile and moved towards the display of chocolate frogs. They were her weakness, and not just because she liked collecting the Famous Wizards cards inside.

She heard a familiar voice and glanced up, spotting Gage with one of his friends. "Gage!" she said, waving to him.

[Gage Oliver]

"Lily," Gage said when he heard her. He walked over and saw she was looking at the display of chocolate frogs. "Oh I love these," Gage said. "How are you?" he asked. Behind him he pointed to Bek, who was only a little bit behind him. "This is Bek, by the way. And I'd introduce you to Seth and Maxi, but it looks like we may have lost them." Gage laughed.

[Maxi Borale]

"Hey come back here," Maxi said, following Seth as he paid for the quills. "You don't have to do that..." She said, but they were paid for and she took one and smiled at Seth. "Thank you," she said sheepishly.

[Seth Inophen]

"Its my pleasure love," Seth said. He let her take the one quill but put the rest away in his backpack. "No more, the rest is for the second task," he had a brilliant idea to leave them for her in her room the morning of the 2nd task, of course there was the issue of getting them in her room, but he knew he'd find a way.

Seth heard a girl call for Gage on the other side of the shop. Seth looked up and saw their little Ravenclaw buddy talking to a girl with red hair. Seth nudged Maxi and pointed at the two. "Lily Evans," he whispered, pointing at the girl.

[Lily Evans]

Lily smiled and waved at Bek. "Hi, Bek, it's nice to meet you." Looking back at Gage, she nodded toward the chocolate frogs. "These are my favorite," she confessed. "Not only do I love the chocolate, but I like to collect the wizard cards and give them to my sister Petunia. She acts like she's not impressed, but I see her looking at them with fascination when she thinks no one's watching. So what are you up to today?"

Emmeline frowned. She had snuck into Hogsmeade for nothing. She hadn't found a dress, but that was pointless. She had no idea that she was going to be asked to the ball. What do you even wear to one? She decided that all this shopping and frustration made her hungry and she would treat herself to something from Honeydukes. It's not everyday your in Hogsmeade.

She was just in the door when she saw Sirius and some of his friends walking quickly. She waved, but quickly put her hand down. She had never felt this insecure before, but she always thought negatively when it came to Sirius. Maybe he didn't want to be seen with her. She frowned. He wasn't like that. She shrugged and started to make her way into the shop.

Sirius was still walking behind Andi, a solemn expression on his face. Someone was coming up ahead, and Andi seemed worried. But as he squinted ahead, he realized that the person coming was only Ted. He wondered if they were going to fight again... he hated to see Andi upset.

He looked away and caught a flash of blonde hair nearby. He recognized Emmeline, and he waved over to her. "Emme!" he called.
