He looked up from his paper. "Of course you can ask me questions. Feel free to ask them whenever you need to. It's what I'm here for." Krushik gave her another smile. "Doesn't matter when you think of the questions, just go ahead and ask away."
Krushik glanced back over his paper. "Oh, and something urgent is something like a group of something or another appeared somewhere. Usually muggle tabloids are the best places to look for things like what they call monsters. If there was an attack or something, that could be important and need looking into. Of course, you seem to be a smart enough girl to know when something is extremely odd sounding."

Sas smiled and almost chuckled. "You read minds," she joked, then looked up from the papers to explain herself. "I was just wondering how urgent, urgent was."
She continued flipping through the reports, her half of them anyway, and when she was finished, she handed them back to him. "The only one in there like anything you mentioned is a Loch Ness sighting, but it doesn't seem that urgent, either. It's the one on the top."

He laughed lightly. "Maybe I am," he joked back. Krushik looked back down at his papers and finished just about the same time Sas did. "You're quick," he commented. "There's nothing wrong with that, so I do commend you on that."
Krushik turned the paper about the Loch Ness Monster and glanced over it. He gave a slight chuckle. "Yeah, Nessy has been around for years. We haven't done anything to her basically because she hasn't attacked anyone and we might as well give the muggles something to ponder over, shouldn't we." He smiled again.
"Now, I guess I should go ahead and tell you about this. If there was ever a need for us to go out and take care of a few magical creatures in the muggle world, we go in there get the creatures out of there, then we have to bring someone in to repair muggle's memories so that they don't remember any of them. Although, as I said before, Nessy doesn't need anything done to her. She's alright. But if it is a sudden swarm of something or another, we have to step in."

Sas just nodded, showing that she was following along. She was listening well, and keeping the information tucked away. She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. It had fallen loose from her ponytail, like it had all of her life.
If he was irritated that he had an intern shadowing him, he didn't show it, and that put her at ease as well. She would work hard.
"Okay, so nothing seems to be urgent today. Now what?"

Krushik noticed that she tucked her hair behind her ear. The way she did was famailar. Someone he once knew used to do that, but it could possibly be a conicidence that this woman did it the same way. Curiousity was on his face but he didn't question it.
Snapping out of his thoughts, he glanced down. "Well, we can always tour the ministry if you wish. Then I'm also working on a stunning potion at the moment. I want to have it so I don't exactly have to use a spell. For example, I could be in the muggle world attempting to take control over a creature, and there could be muggles around. If I use the spell, then we would have to bring in people to clear people's minds, but if I had the potion, none of that would be necessary." Krushik looked up. "It's just something I do on the side. Making a type of potion does not come with the job, but to keep my days interesting I do it."

"Touring th Ministry sounds fight. I should probably know my way around... it will have to come in handy sooner or later." She smiled as she said this. She had the look of someone who didn't expect anything to be handed to her, and she already knew she would work as hard as she could.
"How would you get the muggles to take the potion, especially if it were something tragic? It would be difficult to get them to take it, wouldn't it?" She scooted to the edge of her seat in interest.

Touring the Ministry was put on the back burner at the moment as Sas asked more about his work. "Well, it's not really for the muggles, it's for the creatures. I'm hoping that I can pour it on them. However if that doesn't work, maybe pour some on the ground so that whenever they lick it, or eat whatever the potion was poured on, it will stun them for a moment. It will be just so nothing would have to be done to the muggles if they saw. We could just say that we're with animal control. But, if its with something that you can tell is from the wizarding world, no matter how you look at it, the muggles that saw the creature would have to have their memories altered a little." Interest and excitement was on Krushik's face as he spoke of his work. "The potion I'm working on is similar to the muggle's tranquilizers for their animals, but this kind can be a bit weaker or stronger, depending on the creature."

"Oh, I get it," Sas said. "I misunderstood. It sounds like a great idea, though. How long have you been working on it?"
She was definitely interested in this. "Too many times, I think, no one is really concerned for the creatures in these situations." She felt like she could relate, but she didn't say this to Krushik.

"I've been working on it for about three to four months now. I've come into work early and left late. I'm hoping that I find some kind of break through soon." Krushik fixed the pile of papers on his desk.
"I couldn't agree with you more. Sometimes people just go in and dispose of the creature without thinking. I don't like that idea so I'm trying to help prevent that from happening as much. Maybe you could help me with it if you're interested. I could probably use a new brain to help me think." Krushik smiled.
"Come on, let me give you that tour before we really start working. Sometimes I get to where I get so caught up in my work I don't know when to stop but now that you're here, maybe you can tell me to stop when I'm just going on and on."

Sas held her hands out to her side. "Well, I'm yours to use however you need." She meant it innocently enough, and had a smile still.
She stood from her chair, laughing a little."Sorry, I guess I had mor questions than I thought I did. I keep distracting you from the tour. I can get a little caught up in things to... so who knows? Maybe we'll be good for each other."
She waited for him to stand as well so that they could take that tour, and she could get to know her way around.

"I'll keep that in mind," Krushik said. He didn't think anything of what she said. There was no reason for him to take it any other way except for work, besides Krushik wasn't that type.
"And don't apologize. There's nothing to be sorry for. Distractions are good every now and again and answering questions is what I'm supposed to do. I don't mind it." He smiled. "Yeah, maybe we will. Maybe working together will be something that can really help the department."
He stood a second after she did. Krushik motioned for the door and closed it behind them. "Well, for starters, this is obviously the Department of Magical Creatures. Here, we have sections such as the Werewolf registery which I'll show you."

"The registry doesn't handle control or the attacks though, right? As I understand it, the Registry is for record keeping purposes only?" It was a question because it was something she wasn't entirely sure on, and she wanted to make sure she understood everything correctly.
She followed him through the halls of the department, quickly commiting to memory the turns and the different rooms he showed her.

"Right. They only handle registering werewolves. It helps a lot really, although there are of course several that don't ever register. However they do whatever they can." Krushik continued to walk forward. "There three divisions. Beast, Spirit, and Being. I work within all three if I have to. Currently, we're working in the Beast division, which is where we're in now. On your way out of this section, you'll see the doors for the other two divisions. If you want, we can walk through those too."

"I'd like to see them, if you don't mind," Sasmita replied. There was no hesitation. She was here to learn, and Krushik seemed willing to teach her. Why wouldn't she take advantage of that?
"What's the difference between the Spirit and the Being sections?" She asked, actually quite intrigued about what they did. Beast was easy enough to understand, so she didn't have to ask. She had read about all three, of course, but was still a little hazy on the details.

Krushik nodded and led her toward the door. He was pleased that Sas was eager to learn as much as possible. That quality made him think of the girl he left behind when he was a lot younger.
"The difference between the Spirit and the Being divisions can be a little confusing. When the Ministry was first getting up and running, it was just one department, but then people started to classify everything in the wizarding world. That is why we're divided into three sections. Naturally, Beast is easy to understand. The best definition of Being is something that is alive. Humans, goblins, vampires, werewolves in their human form, and giants are a few examples. However, Spirits are things that are dead, yet lingering around, like ghosts." He paused for a moment and looked back to her. "Does that help you any?"

"Oh," Sas said, nodding as he explained the difference to her. She blushed slightly, but tried to hide the fact. "That's a lot simpler than I was thinking, actually, and I'm a little embarrassed." She flashed him a smile that told him not to worry though.
"All right. Where to next?" He was engaging and didn't seem at all annoyed to be stuck with an intern, which helped her not feel as self conscious.

"Don't be embarrassed," Krushik said with a kind smile. "There's nothing to be embarrassed about while you're around me. No question is stupid."
This was the first time he ever worked with an intern and he wasn't sure exactly what he was supposed to be doing. Krushik was just thinking of stuff as they went along. "Well, I can tell you which coffee machine in the cafeteria seems to have the better coffee. Although, no matter which kind you get is not that great." He gave a laugh. "Um. You know what department is on what floor, right?"

Sas nodded. "Yes. Well, well enough, anyway. I'm sorry," she said, noting his slight hesitation. "I'm not really sure what questions I should be asking just yet. You're very patient though... Thank you for that."
She got the feeling that he wasn't sure what to teach her, and she wished she could help. "I can help however you need."

"Don't apologize. And, I'm the one that should be thanking you for your patience. I know that it's probably obvious that I don't ever have interns to show around. I'm not usually the one that gets the interns, but I'm not going to complain. You're eager to learn and I appreciate that." Krushik smiled again.
He was relieved to have an intern that seemed willing to help even if she wasn't sure how she could. "Well Sas, I suppose you can help me in the lab. That is if you're interested in that kind of thing. If not, I'll see whatelse I can come up with."

Sas shook her head. "No, the lab sounds fine," she told him. She wanted to be helpful, not a hindrance, and if that meant working in the lab, that was fine. Eventually, she'd like to get into more field work, but she wanted to learn from him too.
"Are we going to work on that potion you were telling me about earlier, or something different?" She asked, feeling more confident the more they talked.
