Jackie shrugged, smiling at the warm feeling in her stomach when he picked her up. She knew him so well that she doubted that warm feeling was ever going to go away.
"I don't know. Your room? The room of requirement, the kitchens, the courtyard... the possibilities are endless, really."
she wrapped her arms around his neck again and smiled serenely. "Do ever wonder if we would have ever become friends if we hadn't both been stuck in the last compartment on the train?" She had been running late, and it had been the only compartment left with space in it. Dean had been so shy, and Jackie, in her usual energetic way, just hadn't shut up the whole ride to Hogwarts.

"Room of requirement it is," he said walking into the castle and up the stairs. "That way, we don't have to worry about my dormmates coming in and asking fifty million questions."
Dean laughed at the memory of their first meeting. He was trying to hide away from everyone because at the time he was to shy to be around them, but then Jackie came in. All of that changed. "Well, I think we would have met somehow. I think it was fate that ended up making us meet, so it would have happened one way or another. But, I know I would still be keeping to myself all the time if you hadn't burst into the compartment. "I don't remember you ever asking to sit, but obviously I didn't really care. You had just scared me at first cause it seemed like you were bouncing off the walls, however I do have to thank you greatly for that."
He gave her a wink and kissed her cheek. They made it to the room of requirement. "Hm. Let me think about a room." Dean sat Jackie down for a moment and walked in front of the doorway a few times. The door appeared and he opened it. Inside was a room pretty much like the one that was there when they first went there. "After you."

Jackie almost laughed. "What, not going to carry me over the threshold?" She was teasing him and stepped into the room, feeling completely at ease with the familiarity and the warmth of it.
"I probably was bouncing off the walls. I was so nervous that day, I just couldn't stop talking. I think I probably told you my whole life story... more than you wanted to know."
She stopped and turned towards him, leaning up to give him a quick kiss. "Fate was the right answer, by the way."

"I think you did tell me your whole life story, but that was alright. Since you wouldn't stop talking, and then asking me questions, I started talking. And then after that, I was comfortable with talking to you."
As Jackie stopped, he did to so he wouldn't run into her. A grin spread across his face and he took the bags from her and sat them on the floor. Next, he picked her up again, without warning, and carried her over to the couch to sit down. "Of course that was the right answer," he said sitting down, and keeping her in his lap. He winked at her.
"After the train ride, I didn't want to leave you because I was afraid of the other people and knew that I would get quite again once I was on my own. Naturally, that changed within the first week of school cause you practically dragged me around meeting people."

"I wanted to get to know everyone!" Jackie said in defense of herself. "But I drug you around because I was nervous doing it myself," she admitted, sitting in his lap. "I was never going to let you know that at the time, though."
She considered it for a moment and paused. "I've mellowed out a bit, haven't I? I'm not quite so... bouncey."

Dean laughed. "I didn't mind that you drug me around honestly. I thought you were pretty." He grinned boyishly. "And my nervousness was obvious, although it wasn't that bad because you were right there. I couldn't be completely nervous looking in front of you."
He put his arms around her waist comfortably. "Yeah, you have mellowed out a little bit, but you do still have your moments. I can't complain about them though because I enjoy watching you go all over the place."

Jackie laughed. "Well, good, because I thought you were cute, too. And you were the only one that didn't try to get to me to quiet down. Ironic, isn't it? That in the end it was you that got me to calm down a bit."
As if remembering why she brought him back here in the first place, she moved around in his arms and repositioned herself so that she was straddling him as they sat. "Where's that chocolate?"

"I let you keep on, because it helped me start to become more talkative. Plus, I didn't see it to be effective even if I did try and quiet you down because you wouldn't have done it anyway. We work well with each other and help the other out."
Dean thought for a moment. "It's all the way over there in the bag," he said motioning toward the small pile of bags. "But don't move, I'm going to be lazy." He reached in his pocket and pulled out his wand. Giving her a smile, he looked toward the bags. "Accio chocolate." The bag of chocolates flew toward him and he caught it as he handed it over to Jackie. "Here you go."

Jackie looked forelornly at the bags, all the way across the couch, and she was sure she was almost pouting. Whether or not that was the reason he didn't make her move didn't matter, and it elicited a smile from her.
She took the chocolate and ate a piece without sharing, giving Dean an impish look in the process.

"Hey, that's not fair," he said as she ate a piece of chocolate. Dean gave her a slight frown before reaching for the bag and putting it behind him. He grinned at her as he put a piece of it in his mouth. Dean gave her a look that said just try and get the bag. Now, he was in one of his very playful moods, and his eyes said he was. Playing around with her was always fun because she was responsive to him.

"Oh yeah?" Jackie asked, laughing as she went to reach behind him. "Tickle me, and you die," she warned, raising her eyebrows at him as her hand snaked between his back and the couch, pulling their bodies close together.

Dean gave her a challenging look. "Oh, I wasn't planning on tickiling you this time," he said with an amused look. He moved one of his hands behind him to prevent her from grabbing the bag. Dean held onto her hand before tilting his head toward her and making their lips touch teasingly.

Jackie smiled against his lips, and part of her had the urge to make him promise they could be like this forever.
But they were both sixteen, and who knew what forever had in store for them?
With one hand trapped, she snaked her other hand around him, playing his game and knowing it wouldn't be that easy to get the chocolate back from him.

"Don't even think about it," he said against her lips as her other hand went behind him. Dean quickly moved his other hand and caught her other one. He held on to that one too. While he held on to both of her hands, Dean pulled away from her for a moment with a playful grin. "You're not going to be getting that bag right now. I might let you have the bag back in a little bit, but right now they're in a safe place."

"Are you punishing mean, Deano?" She asked, exaggerating a pout so that her lower lip was pushed out. She could have easily leaned forward and pressed their lips together again, but she held back, curious what he was doing. He couldn't hold her hands there forever.

"Punishing? I haven't really thought about it that way. I thought it more of playing around," he said. "Aw, don't pout," Dean said still holding her hands. He leaned in and kissed her to prevent her from pouting anymore.
Dean pulled away and looked at her curiously. "Do you call that punishing?"

"What's the right answer to get you to do it more?" She asked, raising her eyebrows again and sliding towards him, her arms tighting around his middle, despite how he was holding her hands.
(Sorry... it'll get longer)

Dean's familiar playful smile was playing on his lips. "Oh, so you do consider it a form of punishment." He felt her arms tighten around him and lean closer to him. Dean did move forward a little bit so he could have his face just a breath away from hers. "I don't think you really have to have a good reason for this kind of punishment, other than you being Jackie."

"I have plenty of good reasons for the punishment... but if you only need one reason, I'm all right with that too."
She was still smiling at him, and figured she could torture him a little as she pressed her body to his, resting her forhead against hers. "You have to let go of me at some point. And I will get that chocolate sooner or later."

He didn't mind that her body was pressed against his. "I don't have to ever let you go," Dean replied. "I could find some way to remain like this. Plus, I'm going to try and make sure you don't get that chocolate any time soon."
With his forehead against hers, he smiled. "I believe that there is something that I have to prove to you from the alleyway, so that you would believe me." Dean quickly leaned in and kissed her gently and teasingly at first, but then he deepened it more.
