It's off to the Dressmaker We Go (Hufflepuffs)

[Lance Jordan]

"I thought the girls were going shopping?" Lance raised an eyebrow at his brother. He was at the moment oblivious to Eve and Josh getting cozy, and just walking with Genevieve quietly. "Oh.. never mind you two want to be alone." He half teased his brother but only chuckled. "Sure bro whatever."

[Eve Mallory]

Eve squeezed once for her answer but she was nodding against his back, she was cold he was warm it would be suicidal to move away from him, besides, she kind of liked the fact that she could hold him to her hearts content without anyone thinking anything it was...nice.

[Josh Jordan]

Josh gave Lance a quick glare. Lance had to be oblivious at times. Of course, once Lance realized what he meant, Josh's ears turned a brighter red than what they already were. "We'll meet you at the Three Broomsticks." He smiled at Lance and Genevieve before leading Eve away from them. They had all day to spend in Hogsmeade, so why not spend at least an hour alone with Eve? It would give Lance a chance to spend with Genevieve alone as well.

Josh walked into the candy shop and looked to Eve. "Have a sweet tooth?"

Eve was still hiding behind him but when he asked his question she came to peek out the side beneath his arm. She noticed she was indoors now and so she wasn't blasted with cold air as she stepped outside of his coat. "Always have, always will, although as I recall I'm not the only one." she said glancing up at him.

[Josh Jordan]

Josh laughed as Eve's head came out from beneath his arm. She was beyond adorable. "Of course I have a sweet tooth. I don't think it's ever satisfied." He winked at her and took her hand as he headed towards one of the aisles. "I think that we have to fill up don't you? We have to hide our stock from Lance." Josh looked over the items. "Chocolate frogs, fizzing whizzbis," He glanced down to Eve. "What else? Maybe at least one of everything?"

"Of course!" she said eagerly indulging his sweet tooth. Hers was nothing in comparison to the boys but she always claimed it was so. She'd save up her allowance money and buy tons and tons of candy with it claiming that her sweet tooth was acting up then that she had a stomach ache so she could give the rest to them knowing that they liked sweets.

He smiled. "It's my treat," he said picking up at least one of everything he liked, and two of everything that he knew Eve liked. Josh loved candy, there was no doubt about it. When he would go on a candy run, Josh liked to stock up, because Lance would eventually find it. Luckily, Josh found a basket and dumped the candy he had in his hand into it. He continued to load the basket down. "Don't you agree that we have enough?"

[Eve Mallory]

Eve's brows rose but she wasn't really surprised and she smiled when he was stocking up on things she liked, and she knew there were things in there that Lance liked because they both knew that Lance would find the candy as well. "I do." she nodded with a large smile.

[Josh Jordan]

"Ah, it'll last us a few months," said Josh was a grin. He put his arm around her and headed towards the counter. Without a problem, Josh paid for the candy and took the bag that he had. Now where were they going to head? He knew that he didn't want to be out in the cold for too long, however he didn't mind keeping Eve warm. The thought kept a smile on his face.

"Now, where are we heading Ms. Mallory? This is up to you, I don't care where we head."

[Eve Mallory]

" A few months? A few days is more like." she teased him but wrapped her arm around his waist beneath his coat again as they head outside,"We're supposed to be dress shopping and we've got candy." she laughed, "this is a good start." and she was serious. Eve didn't like dress shopping because she didn't think she looked good in them.

[Josh Jordan]

Josh grinned. "Of course we've got candy! We can't ever go to Hogsmeade without getting candy! That would be a crime!" He put his arm back around her. "And this candy might last a little longer if I can find a good hiding place. Besides, the dress shoping is for you and Genevieve to do. Lance and I have to find dress robes. And I'm paying for whatever dress you want. I won't look at the dress at all, until the night of the dance, promise. And don't worry about how much the dress is, money will not be an issue."

[Eve Mallory]

"Oh I couldn't possibly have you pay for my dress Josh." she shook her head, she knew that ever since her mother died her father's business had plummeted but her aunt took things firmly in hand, they were making money again, "I've been saving for a dress honest." she said shaking her head, "And I'd feel so self-conscious if you paid, really I couldn't" there was such a look of worry on her face that she could even possibly think she was taking advantage of him that caused panic in her eyes.

Josh stopped and looked down at her. "But, I want to do something for you." He wanted to pay for her dress, but he didn't want her to feel any more self-conscious than she already did. "I tell you what. If you find a dress that is more than you've saved up, and it looks absolutely perfect on you, I'll pay the difference. It's the least I can do. Just let me do that, alright? I'll let you pay for it, but if it's anymore than what you have, I'll pay the difference."

He smiled at her and continued to walk. "So where shall we stop? Do you want any joke stuff or anything? Do you want to go ahead and take our time in the Three Broomsticks, or do you want to go do something else?"

Eve tilted her head to the side and weighed his words before nodding "Okay. Thank you." she said lowering her lashes and leaning into his side, so that her forehead brushed just below his collarbone, she was there and it was opportune for her to give him a squeeze.

Then he listed the things they could do and she had to smile, she thought about where he would like to go and figured the Joke shop would suit him, she raised an eyebrow, "If we go shopping for pranks you promise not to pull any on me?"

He felt goosebumps rise on his skin as Eve's head brushed his collarbone. "I would never pull pranks on you Eva. I wouldn't even think about doing anything like that honestly. Although, I can't promise I wouldn't pull anything on Lance. It's just a brother thing, and I'm sure he's going to probably try and pull something on me. I can't let him get away with trying anything." Josh smiled at her and kissed her head. "You can help me pull stuff on him and decide what to get. Does that sound like a plan to you? I won't let you take the fall for anything."

It sounded wonderful although most of the things he had been proposing lately sounded amazing, " I concur." she said with a big smile but her lashes were lowered when he kissed her head.

Don't start that again Josh... she begged silently, Merlin knew how she was going to get through the day if he intended on kissing her everywhere but her mouth again, she loved it and hated it at the same time.

Josh led her into Zonko's. He glanced around and headed down one of the aisles of goods. "Now, which ones shall we get? We could always go with the exploding pens, or the invisable ink." Today, Josh was going to have to restrain himself from kissing her too many times. He knew that if he kept on, he was going to just give up just kissing her forehead or cheek, and finally kiss her on the lips. He couldn't do that just yet. He had to wait a little longer. It was going to be worth it, he hoped.

She shook her head, "Nah, he'd expect it." Eve said with a smile. For all her innocence she was really quite adept at pranking the boys call it her one devious streak but she never meant any harm and they got her just as many times, there was the magical version of a whoopie cushion that would go off every time Lance or someone around him said a specific word...that would be borderline mean if the word was"Genevieve" and she wasn't mean but it might have been funny. She toyed with the idea before throwing it out, she shared her idea with Josh in a teasing way but she would never actually let Josh do such a thing to his brother and continued down the isles.

"That's true," said Josh thinking. They moved on down the aisles. No excellent idea to get Lance on was coming to his mind at the moment. Just the thought of dancing around with Eve as she was all dressed up crossed his mind. His ears reddened and pushed the thought away. He couldn't focus on much of anything else except for her whenever she was around.

"Well, what do you suppose we get," he asked. "I'm got of ideas for the moment. I know you have something going on in that pretty little head of yours. I can see it in your eyes."

She laughed, "I never have pure thoughts in places like this." she admitted looking every inch the imp she was claiming to be. "Look exploading snakes." she said heading towards the box, they had the same type of prank in the muggle world only not quite so elaborate or real looking, these popped out of the box hissing and attaching themselves on to your person before evaporating into smoke.
