Andi sighed and rubbed her head tiredly. "I'm glad, Molly. He's a good guy. I'm not going to push you or anything... just remember that there are a lot of really great guys out there, OK? Don't be afraid to give one of them a chance. Just because I got hurt..." She closed her mouth abruptly, as if holding back a sob. "They're not all like that, OK? Just like all girls aren't like Bellatrix. You deserve to be happy, Molly."

Molly gave Andi a look. "When did the conversation switch to me? I thought I was here consoling you."
Yes, she was quite sure telling Andi now that she planned on breaking it off with Arthur was out of the question. She would just get a lot of questions, and Andi would tell her not to. And she didn't want to. She liked Arthur. But if he supported Ted, and how he had treated Andi... it was only a matter of time before he would treat her the same way.

Andi smiled sadly. "Yes, you are... but I think if I focus on my own problems any longer, I'm just going to break down again. I need to hear happy news about someone. Please tell me you'll give him a chance."
Pushing aside her half-eaten plate of eggs, she sighed heavily. "I feel just... drained. I might go back to bed. Would you mind if I did that? I feel like a wrung-out mop."

"Go back to bed. Just realize that in a day or two, *someone* is going to make you leave the aparment. Shame people don't let you wallow appropriately, isn't it?" Molly asked with a teasing smile. She stood and took the dishes to the kitchen.
"I'm going to clean these up for you, and then I actually have to meet Arthur... if you don't mind me leaving for a few." She did not tell Andi that she was going to end it with Arthur.

Andi sighed. "I know. But I guess I can't stay here forever, no matter how much I might want to." She rubbed her forehead again, then got to her feet. "No, I don't mind. Please, go meet with Arthur. Have a great time. One of us may as well have a nice night, and it's not going to be me. I'll just curl up in bed with Agamemnon."

"I'll come back after, okay? Just to check on you, and if you want me to leave, I will."
She didn't have the heart to tell Andi what she was thinking, but she had it all thought out, and it just... it made sense to end things with Ted's friend before they really got serious.
"At least take some tea with you, okay?" Molly asked, bringing Andi a fresh cup, and picking up her coat.

Andi nodded and took the teacup from Molly. "Thanks. I'll be fine. Just have a nice time. I'll probably be asleep by the time you get back. Hopefully." Setting the tea down for a second, she pulled Molly into a hug. "Thanks again. Really... I honestly don't know what I'd do without you."

"Whatever you need, Andi, I'm here," Molly said. If Andi hadn't hugged her, Molly certainly would have pulled her into a hug. She still wanted to hurt Ted, to make him hurt the way Andi was hurting. She just had to wait until Andi felt that way too. She knew, eventually, Andi would be fine, but she still hated that she was hurting now.
"Feel better, Andi. I'll see you later," she gave her a final smile, opening the door to the apartment.

Andi watched her go, waving tiredly after her. Then she took her tea into her room, followed closely by Agamemnon. Setting the tea on her bedside table, she crawled into bed and pulled the covers up to her chin. As the cat settled next to her, purring softly, Andi closed her eyes. Visions of Ted seemed to still float through her mind. Then the tears began to flow all over again.
