"I'm not so worried about that Andi. I've got other things I need to worry about." Narcissa looked at Andi and squeezed her hand. "I guess that I should head back to school. Apparating the closest to the school I can would decrease me being seen."
If she could, Narcissa would turn back time and stop everything. And, if she weren't worried about losing everything, she would plainly state to her family to leave Andi alone. However, Narcissa didn't mind sneaking around to keep her sister happy. That was the most important thing to her. Family. It would always be, and Andi was still part of her family even if her parents disowned her.
She returned the hug. "You take care Andi. Don't worry about things too terribly much. I'll be in touch with you. Love you." Narcissa gave her a smile before apparating as close as she could to Hogwarts.

Andi sighed heavily after Narcissa left. Already she felt the little spark of anger she'd felt earlier begin to drain away from her. Setting down her coffee cup, she leaned her head against Molly's arm. "Molly? Would you mind terribly if I just went back to bed? My head is still killing me, and I just feel... drained."

"No, go get some rest, Andi," Molly said, taking a deep breath. "Do you mind if I stay a while?" She asked. "I'll keep everyone else out until you're feeling up to it."
She didn't want to leave Andi alone. She understood that the girl just needed some time, but she shouldn't be alone for it, she thought sadly. Molly just wanted to protect her and make sure she was taken care of.

Andi nodded and gave Molly a quick hug. "Yes, of course you can stay. I doubt anyone else is going to want to bother me for a while, anyway. Unless..." She stopped, realizing she was just about to say "unless Ted stops by." But he wasn't going to do that. He didn't want her, she reminded herself. Tears filled her eyes and she blinked them back quickly. She couldn't keep crying for him... she knew in her head that if he didn't want her, it was his problem, and he wasn't worth crying over. But her heart still ached.
She sighed, seemingly expressing the unspoken words in her mind. "Thanks again, Molly. I don't know what I'd do without you."
Getting up, she walked slowly into the bathroom to get a headache potion before going back to bed.

A few hours later, Andi woke up, feeling hollow inside. Her stomach was gnawing uncomfortably, and she realized she hadn't actually eaten anything since lunch the day before. Moaning softly, she tried to move, but was weighed down by a heavy weight on her legs. Agamemnon was sleeping on top of her, she realized. She sat up slowly and gathered the sleeping cat in her arms. He let out a soft sound that resembled a chirp, and opened his eyes to look at her. he looked mildly annoyed at being picked up in the middle of his sleep, but as she held him against her chest and stroked his glossy black fur, he began to purr deeply.
"Oh, Agamemnon, you wouldn't abandon me, would you?" she said softly.
Her stomach growled again, and she knew she was going to have to try and eat something. Setting the cat back down on her bed, she pushed the covers aside and got up, heading into the living room.
"Hey, Molly," she said tiredly.

Molly looked up from a book she had stolen off of Andi's bookcase and stuck her finger inbetween the pages. "Hey, Andi," she said gently, giving her friend a once over. She didn't look much better.
"There's a fresh pot of coffee in the kitchen for you. How do you feel?"

Andi sighed heavily and moved over to sit next to Molly. "Oh, you know... like the Knight Bus ran over me a few times." She leaned her head on Molly's shoulder. "But I think maybe I should eat something. It's been so long since I've had anything in me but coffee and alcohol, I think I'm forgetting the taste of food."

(Sorry Andi!)
Molly nodded. "I can fix you something to eat if you'd like. Or..." she frowned, putting her arms around her friend. "Or I can go... whatever you need, Andi. I just don't want you to be alone here like this."
She hugged Andromeda. "What do you have a taste for? It should be something that will soak up whatever's left in your stomach from all that coffee and alcohol."

What did she have a taste for? French toast. With chocolate and peanut butter and maple syrup.
She willed back the tears that threatened to fill her eyes. Instead, she rubbed her eyes tiredly and let out a sigh that seemed to speak of everything she was holding inside. "It doesn't matter, really. Although, I can't really ask you to cook for me. I should really do it myself. In fact," she said, pulling away from Molly and looking around the apartment. "I actually should do some cleaning at some point. There's dust everywhere, and Agamemnon needs a bath, and I've always meant to organize my book shelf..."
She stopped abruptly and looked at Molly. "But I don't want you to leave yet. It helps a little.. just knowing I'm not alone."

Molly nodded, looking around the apartment as Andi listed off the things she needed to do.
"Tell you what, why don't you make something to eat, and I'll start dusting? I won't do anything for you that you don't want me too, but I can help clean. I'm good at that."
She silently promised Andi that as long as the girl wanted her around, she wasn't leaving. It did help not to be alone, she knew and understood that.

Andi tried to smile, but it didn't quite touch her eyes. "Thanks, Molly. I really do appreciate it." She got to her feet and started toward the kitchen, but before she had taken more than a few steps, she heard a sound at the door.
"Oh, no, not again..." she moaned. She was prepared to go to the door and tell whoever it was to go away. But the door flew open abruptly, and her mother strode into the apartment.

Druella had come to Andromeda's apartment and gave a brief knock before using a spell to throw the door open wide. She didn't care for noise, but she had to make a dramatic entrance.
"Andromeda," she said briskly. "I see you're still keeping company with the mousy redhead. Honestly, girl, do you ever learn?"
Looking at Molly, she pointed at the door. "Out. I need to speak with my daughter alone. Now!"

Molly's mouth opened to argue, as she was always so willing to do, when she remembered who exactly she was dealing with. She wasn't exactly a woman you said no to.
And because of that, she didn't want to leave Andi alone. She turned and looked at Andromeda. "I'll stay if you want me to."

Andi hesitated. She didn't want Molly to leave. And she didn't want her mother to stay. But she wasn't sure she had a choice in either of those things. "Would you mind waiting in the hall, Molly?" she asked in a quiet voice. "I'll talk to my mother alone, but she won't be staying long."
Not if she had any say in the matter, that is...

Molly bit the inside of her lip, but she nodded. If Andi wanted her to wait outside, she would wait outside.
"I'll be right here whenever you need me, Andi," she said softly, looking back at Druella and wasn't even able to give her a hard look.
She stepped by her.

Andi gave Molly a grateful look, then turned reluctantly to her mother. She really didn't have the strength to deal with her right now... nevertheless, she was here, and deal with her she must.
"I thought I was disowned," she said flatly.

Druella's eyes flared. Already with the attitude... the girl was just impossible. It would serve her right if the family just cut her off without another word.
"Yes, you are disowned. However, I have prevailed upon your father to give you one last chance to redeem yourself and get back into our good graces. I'm not entirely sure you're worth it, but you are my daughter, and I would hate to think I wasted 18 hours of labor to bring you into this world."

Andi had to refrain from rolling her eyes, knowing that this would set off her mother. She'd heard the "18 hours of labor" story many times growing up, and it no longer had an effect on her. What, was she supposed to feel guilty? It wasn't like she'd had any conscious control over it.
"Of course, mother, you're ever so generous," she said, unable to keep from sounding sarcastic. "Please, tell me what I have to do to get back in your good graces."

"Don't you take that tone with me, young lady," Druella snapped. "I don't have to make this offer, and I can revoke it at any time. By the way, I know I taught you better manners than this. You haven't invited me to sit down or offered me a cup of tea. Shameful manners."
With that, she walked over and sat down on the sofa, her arms crossed.

"Am I supposed to make you tea, Mother?" Andi said, annoyed. She stood in front of her mother, her own arms folded over her chest. "I haven't even had tea yet... or anything to eat, since yesterday. And we both know this is not a social call and you have no intentions of staying any longer than it takes to say what you have to say. So, please, mother, spare me the lectures about social protocol. Just say what you came to say."
