Flying(Sirius)

[Kris Lupin]

Kris sat on the ground as she waited for Sirius to return, she absentmindedly pulled up on the grass. She didn't know what she would say when the full moon came, she would have to lie she knew that and it made her heart feel heavy. She didn't like lying and it would feel worse after the gift he gave her.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius walked back to the common room to get his broom. He was feeling a little better than before. When he'd been talking to her earlier, and she'd just kept crying about her father and Remus and everything else, he'd felt helpless. Like there was nothing he could do to calm her down. He was glad he'd managed to get her to think about something else for a while. She needed to have more fun. He hoped he could help her to relax more.

Grabbing his broom, he hurried back out of the common room with little more than a wave at James and Remus. Along the way to the pitch, he stopped in the supply room and stopped for a minute to try and find the best-looking broom. Finally, he chose a Cleansweep and hurried out to find Kris.

She was standing in the middle of the Quidditch Pitch, looking like she was starting to worry again. He couldn't let that happen! He got on his broom and sped towards her, flying over her head by just a few meters. Then, after a fancy loop in mid-air, he landed neatly in front of her and held out her broom. "Get on!" he said, smiling.

Kris stood up smiling, she took the broom then got on it, she was glad he came at that time. She took a deep breath then flew up as high as she could, she looked down at Sirius with a smile.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius laughed as she flew high above him. He was enjoying being in the air, just feeling the wind blow through his hair. He felt... free. After a long summer of being trapped in his parents' house, this was exactly what he needed.

"I'm coming to get you!" Sirius called to her, as he increased his broom's speed and flew directly up at her.

[Kris Lupin]

"Gotta keep up!" Kris called back as she flew forward and down, she felt normal for once, she once again thought about trying out for the team.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius chased after her, but she was far ahead of him. It didn't really matter, because he was having so much fun just flying around, especially at the high speed. "You're really doing great on that old broom!" he yelled to her.

[Kris Lupin]

"I had a great and handsome teacher!" Kris yelled back to him, she did a short dive before pulling up and slowing to turn and face him. She had a huge smile on her face, she was planning on going up when he got close to getting her.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius laughed. "Yeah, you did," he agreed. He saw that she had slowed down, so he zoomed toward her quickly. Thinking she wanted him to catch her, he kept going until he had almost reached her.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris smirked as he was falling for her little trick. She zoomed up high when she saw him get close, she looked down to see his reaction.

[Sirius Black]

As she took off and flew up high, Sirius realized he'd fallen for her trick. He threw his head back and laughed. He should have spotted that trick... it was exactly the kind of thing he would have done. "Nice one," he called to her. "But you can't avoid me forever!"

He shot upwards, heading straight for her.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris laughed but this time she was wanting him to catch her. She flew in little circles slowing like hawk acting like she hadn't notice him going after her.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius flew up as fast as he could, getting almost dizzy from the height and the speed. As he got closer to her, he saw that she was again flying in circles. He wondered if she was planning to fly up again, or even drop back down. He slowed down slightly as he approached.

[Kris Lupin]

Kris looked down at him and gave him the 'come get me' look along with a smirk. She was having so much fun, she loved flying, she was glad he had taught her.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius saw her looking down at him and laughed. He shot up in the air happily, and as he got close to her, he did a few circles around her. "Hi," he said at last, stopping in front of her and giving her a funny grin.

[Kris Lupin]

"Hi." Kris said smiling, she moved her broom toward him a little. She glanced down then back up at him, she was being a little shy.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius reached over and took her hand in his. "Hey, how come you're all quiet all of a sudden?" he asked. "Is this the same girl who just had me chasing her all around the quidditch pitch?"

[Kris Lupin]

Kris bit her lower lip, "Yeah." But there's a part of me you don't know. She thought wanting to tell him but afraid he would break up with her. She smiled to hide that she was thinking.

[Sirius Black]

"Oh, you're gonna play mysterious now, are you?" Sirius said with a grin. "So am I supposed to guess what you're thinking then?"

He put his finger to his temple and pretended to think very hard for a moment. "Hmmm... yeah... I got it.... Yeah, you're thinking that you can't believe what a charming and handsome boyfriend you have. Is that it?"

[Kris Lupin]

"Why yes, that is what I was thinking." Kris said smiling, she wondered why lying came so easey to her. I guess it's a trait I get from my father. She thought but on the outside she didn't look like she had thought anything.

[Sirius Black]

Sirius grinned. "Yeah, I knew it. But do you want to know what I was thinking?" he asked, winking at her.
