Potions Class 7

[Albus Dumbledore]

Slughorn waddled into his classroom and over to his desk. As usual, the small, hard chair had replaced the big, soft squishy chair he had conjured. He was really going to have to talk to Filch about this... Sighing to himself, he transfigured the chair into a nice, leather chair with wheels. Smiling to himself, he sat down and took out a tin of crystalized ginger while he waited for his students to arrive.

[Sabrina St. Clare]

"Hi, Professor!" Sabrina said brightly as she came in and sat down near the front of the room. She wondered if anyone else could tell that she was trying too hard to be cheerful...

[Severus Snape]

Severus walked into class and waved to his professor and then sat down at a lone desk and began to set up his work space. then he opened his book and he noticed something about a potion and began to scribble in the margins of his book. There was a better way of getting juice from thoes small shirvled beans...

[Rori Logan]

Rori walked into the Potions classroom and waved to the professor. "Hey Sabrina, hey Sev." she said smiling and taking a seat next to Severus. "So um, what are you doing?" she asked with an eyebrow raised.

[Severus Snape]

"Oh hello Rori! I was just making some notes!" said Severus shutting his book and sitting up straighter. "How are you doing? are you still doing well?" He asked.

[Rori Logan]

"I'm doing fine, and yes." said Rori putting her book on the table. "I'm excited that quidditch practice is starting." she said grinning.

[Severus Snape]

"Oh i don't like that game, I'm not very good on a broom." he said wrinkling his nose at the thought. "But i hope you don't hold it against me that i hope my team wins, do you? " he asked smiling.

[Rori Logan]

"Yes, I will take it against you, as a matter of fact." said Rori seriously then she started laughing. "No, I of course I wouldn't! I mean I would think you crazy if you didn't root for your own house." said Rori smiling. "Just to hope that I fall of my broom, or anyone on the team gets hurt badly. Okay?"

[Severus Snape]

"I hope you never fall off your broom!" the idea of Rori falling off her broom even if it meant his team losing was mortifying. "Even if it's Potter?" he said looking shifty eyed around. Now he couldn't say he would feel all that upset...

[Justine Torrance]

Justine walked into the classroom and sat down away from everyone. Although Rori and Severus had been nice to her last time, she didn't really expect it to happen again. Silently she took out her books and didn't look around the room at all.

[Rori Logan]

Rori smiled. "Well, Potter's nice to me, but if you want to wish that, you go ahead." she said laughing. "Hey Justine!"

[Justine Torrance]

Justine heard her name and looked up. "Um, hi," she said shyly.

[Rori Logan]

"You know you are more than welcome to come sit with us. You know we don't bite." said Rori smiling.

[Justine Torrance]

Justine stayed in her seat. "Um, thanks, but..." She couldn't really think of a good reason why, exactly. She just quietly stared back down into her book as though she suddenly found it very fascinating. She was not used to people being nice to her and it was making her feel uncomfortable. Worse, it was giving her hope that she wasn't a complete freak.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus slipped into Potions class and sat down next to Sabrina. "Hey," he said. "How are you doing today? You've been kind of quiet lately. Did the Quidditch practice go well?"

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius sauntered into the room and sneered at the rest of the class. There really needed to be more Slytherins in this school, he thought. He sat in the corner and hoped Narcissa would show up.

[Lily Evans]

Lily walked into the room, she saw Malfoy and sat far away from him on an empty desk.

Chanterelle walked into class and sat in an empty seat. She put her books on one of the seats next to her so that Lorelai could sit there when she came in....if she came in.

[Severus Snape]

Severus turned and looked at Justine "Just sit down with us! that way we won't get in trouble for talking across the classroom!" he said giving her one of his weird half smiles. For whatever reason, smiling didn't come easy for Severus.

[Justine Torrance]

Justine looked at him strangely. She wasn't used to the idea that anyone would want to talk to her or sit with her. After a minute's hesitation, she said, "OK. I'll sit with you." She walked over and sat down next to them.
