"I don't think she did, no," said Madam Pomfrey. "She seemed to be in good shape when she left the hospital wing that night, but I believe that the sight of Laitia, who she believed to have kidnapped her, caused something to snap inside her already damaged mind. When she was well enough to speak again, I talked to her, and she only had a slight memory of having done it--as though it had been in a dream and not in real life. So, no, I don't think she knew what she was doing when she did it."

"Not at the moment," Claudia said loudly, "but I reserve the right to recall the witness at a later time." She frowned to herself; Madam Pomfrey's testimony would be difficult to discredit.

Elle was relieved, she looked around the room and frowned, why do people have a grudge against me and the people backing me up? She thought to herself.

Isabella heard the rude whispering coming from the other side of the room where Erasmus, Claudia, and Greta were sitting. Turning towards them, she glared at them and said, "Shhhhhhhhhhhh!" Honestly, the nerve of those three... she was sure they were up to no good...

Elle coughed, ''Eh Hem.'' She continued, ''Well, me and Laitia were quite close but not that close. We were when I was younger, but then we kind of drifted apart.'' She said. ''But then when I found out she worked here, I sort of was shocked because I knew she was a death eater. I found out a few years ago, when I overheard her talking about it to someone called Tom, but she never knew. I was scared she might do something if I told Dumbledore.''

''OK, I'll tell you what I remember.'' Elle said. ''Me and a couple of other students were on the quidditch pitch, playing - flying on our brooms, I sat down for a second and saw Laitia.'' She said and continued, ''I didn't understand why she was there, as I was about to speak, she pulled her wand out and then everything went dark... Thats all I remember.'' She said. ''After that, I'll I remember is waking up in the hospital wing.'' She added.
