Raina pushed the door of Flourish and Blotts open slowly. SHe stuck her head around the door and scooted inside. She was in kindof a hurry so she found the books she needed for school without spending time browsing, as she normally wold have done.
Whan she had the 6 books she needed she approached the counter, pulling out her money. "That's 36 galleons ." The lady behind the counter said, and Raina counted ou the moeny. She smiled before grabbing her books and heading outside to finish her shopping.

Jodi and her dad entered Flourish and Blotts. She needed a few new books for this term; updated textbooks and the like. She browsed through the shelves pulling out all the books she needed and a few she wanted.
When her father found her she was curled up in the back of the store reading. "Typical. You can get ONE extra book. ONE. You have millions at home and how many of them have you actually read?"
"All of them" Jodi responded, without looking up.
"Oh well in that case... you need to get out more." Jodi stuck her tongue out at her father and got up from the floor. The two walked to the front of the store, replacing the books they were not buying to the shelves. Jodi's father paid the 21 galleons for the books they were getting.
"So, you want some dinner before we catch the train back to Leadworth? Because i could go for some food right now." Jodi laughed and responded, "Sure, I could eat."
The two gathered their items and walked back toward London.

Babette entered the book store with her mouth agape. She had never seen anything like this ever before. So, in excitement, she skipped happily up to the counter and greeted the elder man that worked there. "Hello! How are you today? Well, anyways, I was wondering if you had all the third year books, used. That would be wonderful!" The clerk was appalled at her kindness, and left to go in the back where the stockroom was. He emerged with a big grin on his face, and said "That will be 25 Galleons." Babette noticed she was short on funds. Nervously, she said "Um, it seems I am a little short on funds. Will you--" "Why sure! I will lower the price to 17 Galleons, since you have been so kind." Babette thanked the old man, and then headed toward the door. She stopped outside to look in her hand held mirror, to make sure her make-up didn't melt off, or her hair didn't frizz. Then, she continued on her way.

Eerie stared miserably down at the list of books that she needed for the coming year at Hogwarts. In her experience at school, she really hated text books. The mere fact that the school expected her to pay for them with her own money was atrocious, never mind the fact that she then had to spend an entire year slaving away at it to pass her exams. She would much rather do something practical, rather than reading and taking notes. Thankfully she wasn't taking any particularly torturous subjects this year, and she expected that she would be able to make it through.
Eerie handed the slightly worn slip of parchment to the shop keeper, and picked impatiently at her nails as he slowly read the list.
"New or used?" he asked.
"New, of course!" Eerie scoffed. That the shop keeper could think that somebody like her would be buying used books was a complete insult. "I'm not some sort of mudblood who can't afford to even pay for books, you know!" She sneered, feeling a sudden sense of pride for being pure blood. "Oh, and I don't care how much it costs. Daddy, pay this imbecile, and let's go and buy me a new wand, mine's looking a little shabby," she giggled, throwing her bag pompously over her shoulder and walking out of the store in what she though was a graceful fashion, though it just looked over-done and stupid.
"Ugh. I suppose one of the books bites again? Oh, Care of Magical creatures was such a mistake! Stroke the spine? What a silly idea! As if I would want to read from a book that had eyes, let alone touch it!" And on that note, Eerie floated awkwardly through the crowd, smiling at the jingle of coins in her pocket.
