She gave a list to the shopkeeper, She came back with four boks piled on each other 'New or Old' She said

'New please' Elle said taking the books

'24 Galleons dear' She said

Elle handed her the Galleons, 'Have a nice day' She walked out of the shop

'And you too' The woman replied

Sabrina walked into the bookstore and approached the counter. "Hi, I need to buy some books, please," she said.

"What books do you need?" asked the clerk.

Sabrina checked her list. "I need the Standard Book of Spells, Grade 3, by Miranda Goshawk, Defence Yourself, by james Pilgram, History of Magic, by Minerva Gladeous, Numerical Magic by Viggo Chesterton, Ancient Runes and their Meanings by Garfield Tyler, and Transfiguration and You by Edmund Livingston."

"OK, that'll be 36 galleons," the woman said, and went to get the books.

Sabrina got out her galleons and when the woman returned with a bag full of books, she handed her the galleons. "Thank you," she said, and left the shop.

[Severus Snape]

Heading straight to the used book section, Severus took the books he would need. He planned on using his mother's books but he only had one of them. Fingering the money in his pocket he finished selecting.

"Just these please sir" he said.

"That will be 15 gallons" said the woman

frowning he put the money down and took his parcels with him.
"good bye" he muttered and walked out

[Remus Lupin]

Remus entered the book store. Although he was using his father's used books for most subjects, he knew he would need a few others. "Hi, could I have a copy of The Standard Book of Spells, Grade 1 and Defence Yourself?" he asked. "Used, if you've got them."

"I'll check," said the clerk. He walked back and checked the shelves, and came back a few minutes later with two books. "They're both used," he said. "That'll be 6 galleons."

Remus gave him the money. "Thank you," he said. Then he hurried out of the shop.

Namine check her list and walked in.she walked over to the clerk and cheked her list again.

"I need every Defense agint the dark arts,potions,charms,transfiguration,divation,and care of magical creatures for 7th years."Namine said instead of listing every book.

"Okay here you are."the clerk said walking back leviting about 2 or 3 piles of books.

"New copy."Namine said.

"these are new."the clerk said.

"thank you,how much will it be?"Namine asked.

"72 galleons"the clerk said.

"Okay."Namine sighed pulling out the money.

Namine walked out of the shop will all her books sighing.

Lily walked into Flourish and Blotts. "I would like these books please." She smiled as she handed the clerk her book list.

"New or used?" The clerk asked as he started bringing out books.

"New." Lily replied.

The clerk handed Lily a stack of books. "That'll be 30 Galleons."

She handed him the gold. "Thank you." She smiled as she walked out.

James walked into the store as a red-head walked out of the store. He didn't really think twice about the girl and walked up to the counter. "I'll like to get all the books on this list," James said, handing over the letter from Hogwarts. "New if you still got them."
The clerk went back into the storage room and came out with his books.
"36 galleons," the clerk said, ringing James up.
James gave him the money, thanked the man, and walked out of the store with his books tucked under his arms.

Sirius walked disgustedly into the book store. He thought books were a waste of time, but practical stuff, that was way different.

"I need all of the required books for a first year." He said to the owner.

"Ok here you go." The owner replied. "It will be 60 galleons if all of them are new."

"Yes I want new." He replied handing over 60 galleons.

Sirius walked out of the shop and went home.

[Rori Logan]

Rori walked into the bookstore and walked up to the clerk. "All books for second years at Hogwarts please." said Rori nicely. "I'll use used ones. That will be fine."

"Just one second" said the clerk. The clerk returned with the books and said "That will be 21 galleons please."

Rori pulled out 21 galleons and handed them to the clerk. Rori gathered her books and walked out of the store to get the rest of her supplies.

Peter walked in the book store and began searching for his required books. When he gathered them he walked to the front counter. On his way there he tripped on his loose shoelace, spilling his books all over the floor. He quickly gathered them and placed them onto the counter.

" Sir, I'd like to buy these books, please" the clerk peeked at him from behind a shelf.

"One moment." the clerk put back the book he was looking at and approached Peter. he eyed the books for a good while before stating the price. "56 galleons."

Peter reached in his pocket and placed the money on the counter. "Thank you." The clerk gave a half nod and returned to his shelf. Peter walked out the store, praying that he didn't trip...again.

Anna Marie walked in and looked at her list."I need 5 old books."she said to the counter lady.

"Here you are dearie."the lady said handing the book to Anna Marie.

"Thank you."Anna Marie said handing of 15 galleons.

[Anonimus White]

Anonimus walked in the store and looked at what he needed on his list he had been in here enough times so he went to go get his own books. He looked at his classes "lets see im taking Charms, Transfiguration, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Astronomy, Care of Magical Creatures, and Muggle Studies." he said somewhat outloud.

He found all his books and headed for the counter he had 6 used books and sat them on the counter the lady looked up and said "18 galleons." Anonimus handed her the money and left the store

Catherine walked up to the woman at the counter and said "I need All the required books for first years at hogwarts, New if you don't mind." she said forcefully
The woman was dumbfounded at such a rude child, she summoned the books and said briskly
"60 galleons"
Catherine tossed the money on the counter carelessly and took her books and left. saying none too quietly "what a borish woman!" as she left.

Chanterelle walked over to the used book section and pulled out the 7 books she needed. She handed the clerk 21 galleons, and walked out without saying a word.

Mystie strolled into the shop. She'd written a list so that she didn't forget anything. Unrolling the parchement and scanning through it, she walked up to the counter.
"Evening. Could I please have all the books needed for Transfiguration, Potions, DADA, Charms, CoMC and Divination please. New preferably." She finished pocketing the parchement, and pulling out her money.

"First year books?" She clerk enquired, judging by the girls small-ish appearence. She smiled politely.

"No!" Mystie snapped, before she had chance to stop herself. The clerk's smile vanished, and looked slightly taken-aback.
"Mean... no. Fifth year books." Mystie said in a would-be casual voice.

The clerk nodded and went to fetch the books.
"That's 36 galleons please." The clerk said, still looking a little edgy.
Mystie frowned at the clerk's expression and slammed the money on the counter. Without uttering a single word of thanks, Mystie grabbed the bag of books, and stormed out of the shop.

Haylie walked into Flourish and Blotts and walked up to the counter. She tapped her fingers impatiently on the counter as she waited for the clerk to come to her. Once the clerk finally got to Haylie she simply handed him her list. "New" she said.

"Yes, Miss" the clerk mumbled as he left to fetch the books.

He laid the books on the counter and muttered, "That'd be 36 galeons, please."

Hailey scanned the books making sure they were right and undamaged. She reached into her purse and dropped the money onto the counter. Carrying her books she turned and strolled off with out another word.

Luka nervosly walks in to the shop, constantly looking around the store, amazed at the variety of books that are on sale. A young clerk comes over to him,

"Can I help you sir?" he asked, a freindly smile on his face,

"I ne...need the books for these lessons?" Luka says, stuttering,

The clerk vanished, and quickly reappeared with a carrier full of books. He hands the bag and letter over to Luka and guides him to the counter to pay.

"That's 36 galleons please." The clerk said, then noticing the confused look on Luka's face added, "That's the big gold ones."

Blushing Luka hands over some of the coins and mutters a thanks before leaving the shop and heading on to do his shopping.

[Bellatrix Black]

Bellatrix entered the bookshop, turning her nose up at the filthy, poor looking boy who pushed past her with an armful of books. This was Bella's least favorite part of shopping for school supplies, as the bookshop was almost always packed with people. She carefully slid around a group of younger kids pissing around with a cage of books entitled Batty About Bats. The children were poking at the books with sticks, and the books; which had large, leathery wings, flew about the cage like mad. Bella sneered at one the kids as he looked up at her.

Bella pulled out her book list and searched the shelves for the texts she would need this term. She was able to find The Standard Book Of Spells Level 7, The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection, Defensive Magical Theory, Confronting the Faceless, Advanced Potion-Making, Guide to Advanced Transfiguration, and One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi. There was one book left that she was unable to find, and she rolled her eyes as she realized she would have to actually speak with the dimwitted clerk behind the counter who was looking at something he had just picked from his ear.

Without making eye contact, Bella abruptly asked the man where she could find her last book. "Where's Spellman's Syllabary, I'm in a hurry and you people seem to be too daft to actually put things on the shelves." The man looked rather startled and excused himself while he checked the back room. He emerged a few moments later carrying a thin, hard cover book. "Right then. What's my total" she barked at the man as she set her books on the counter for him to see. He tallied her books and told her the total. She tossed thirty-six galleons at him and picked up her books again, this time placing them into her satchel, then turned and made for the door.

On her way out she passed by the group of children, still on about bothering the books. The same boy who Bella had sneered at earlier stuck his tongue out at her. She hissed at him, and the boy screamed and ran to find his mum who was talking in the back of the shop. Bellatrix shook her head at the pathetic creature and left the store.
