Emily shyly opened the door to the Hospital wing. She had considered what her and Isabella had talked about, and she decided to leave Zander in charge, since he seemed responsible enough. Emily slowly walked over to Vincent's bedside and nervously sat down. "Hey," she said quietly.

Vincent was asleep when Emily walked in, but at the sound of her voice, he opened his eyes. "Hey, Em," he said softly. "I'm glad you came."

Emily gave him a smile. "I'm going to take that as a good thing. I would have came sooner, but I've been really busy, but anyway, how have you been?"

He shrugged. "I'm doing OK, considering everything. I'm still paralyzed. I haven't felt a thing in my legs, even though I'm doing the therapy and everything." He sighed, feeling depressed.

"You'll get better, I promise. It just takes time. I know you want to hurry up and walk again, but you have to be patient," said Emily. "Don't look so depressed either. You have to believe you will get better."

Vincent smiled weakly. "I'm afraid I'm not very good at being patient," he said. "It's kind of a bad habit of mine."

Emily laughed a little. "Yeah, you're not really patient," she said as she moved a stray hair from his forehead. Emily sat back in her chair. "I'll stay for awhile, but I've got to leave in the morning, because I have to go to Elle's trial."

"Oh, are you in that?" Vincent asked. "I actually have to go, too. I told Lucie I'd help her defend Elle. I'm even going to present some evidence that Laitia kidnapped Elle. Hopefully, we'll be able to get her out of this."

"Hopefully. I told Isa earlier today that I would do whatever I can to get Elle out of this," said Emily. "Oh I hired another person at the Hog's Head. His name is Zander Smith, and I left him in charge while I'm gone. I hope that's okay."

Madam Pomfrey walked in, carrying a potion. "Vincent, dear, it's time for your medicine," she said. She smiled at Emily. "Good to see you back here, dear." She set the glass down on the table by his bed. "Just drink that down before you eat. One of the house elves will be up soon with som hot soup for you." She smiled at them again and walked out.
((Hey, I want the house elf to trip and spill soup on Vincent's legs, and have him feel it to show he's getting better.))

Emily smiled at Poppy as she left the room. "Yum, medicine," said Emily smiling at Vincent. A few seconds later, a house-elf appeared at the foot of Vincent's bed. Emily greeted the house-elf with a smile. The poor creature was shaking from being nervousness. As he was fixing to sit the bowl of soup down on the table, he accidently spilled the soup on Vincent's legs. The house-elf looked between Vincent and Emily apologizing. "It's alright," said Emily to the house-elf, but the house-elf ran out of the hospital wing saying, "I'm sorry missus, I'm sorry," over and over. Emily looked down at Vincent, "I'll get some more blankets real quick."

But Vincent was smiling. "Emily.... It hurts! Do you understand what this means?" he gasped, staring at her. "I can feel!" He laughed. "I'm going to be walking in no time!"

Emily started to laugh. Instead of grabbing new blankets, she pointed her wand where the soup had spilled and said a cleaning spell. In a matter of seconds, the blankets were dry. "I've never seen someone so happy to have soup spilled on them, but I understand," she said kissing his forehead. Emily flushed, but still smiled, "I'm glad."

Vincent smiled. "I still can't move my legs... but I definitely felt the burn." He reached down and took her hand. "I'm sorry I pushed you away, Emily. I was an idiot. Can you ever forgive me?"

Emily stared at him thinking. How could she not forgive him? Sure maybe she was just a little angry, but it didn't really matter anymore, what mattered now is that she is able to take care of him now, without him trying to push her away anymore. Emily smiled at him. "Yes, I forgive you, and it's okay."

Vincent smiled at her and kissed her. "I had this dream... and it felt so real. I dreamed that I never got better--and in fact, I got worse. I couldn't move at all and you had to take care of me and you didn't have a life of your own. I know it was stupid now, but, I just couldn't do that to you."

"To be honest, I rather have lived that life, than live a life without you," said Emily squeezing his hand. "The past few days have rather bland and horrible. I haven't been in a good mood, until this morning whenever Isa stopped by."

Vincent grinned. "Yeah, Voltaire took me out to lunch today. It was nice just to get out for a while, even if it was in this stupid chair." He chuckled. "While we were there, Voltaire's old girlfriend showed up and tried to get him to take her back. Isabella walked in to see her kissing him. I bet you can imagine the blow-up there...." He reached up and put his hand on her cheek. "But you know, watching Isabella and Voltaire together... it made me mis you even more."

Emily laughed. "I can imagine Isabella doing something about it." She smiled as his hand rested on her cheek and took her own hand and held his. "I miss you to much," she said quietly.

"Yeah, it wasn't a pretty sigh," Vincent said. "Actually one Tai Lee was gone, I thought Isabella was going to freak out on Voltaire. It was lucky for him that I was there to witness what happened before she got there." Vincent leaned up and kissed her softly. "I missed you, too. If I ever try something like this again, remind me that I'm an idiot, OK? I don't want to be apart from you again."
