Leyla was wondering through the woods, hoping to find that bunny that had been bouncing around near where she sat reading that morning. She felt oddly like Alice from that muggle book she read years ago. But the bunny she was chasing was brown, not white. She held her book tightly in her hand and walked deeper into the woods, listening for rustling in the bushes.
She was beginning to give up hope when she heard some twigs snap to her left. Not thinking that it could be anything dangerous, she went to investigate. She didn't consider for a second that it could be anything other than the bunny. That's why she was so surprised when she found herself face to face with Collin Borgin.
She gasped and stumbled backwards, tripping over her own feet and landing on her bum. She looked up at him with a blush on her cheeks.
"We really need to stop meeting like this." She teased with a grin. She couldn't help but be reminded of the last time they met in the woods. It had started with him scaring her then too.

"I think you have a knack for finding me in the woods,"Collin chuckled. "No wonder your brother doesn't want you wandering around the forrest, you'll run into trouble."
He smiled at her and reached out, taking her arm as she stumbled backwards, moving to help her up after she fell. "Nice fall, not as good as when you knocked me out of a tree though," he chuckled again.

Leyla gaped at him and swatted at his arm playfully. "I didn't knock you out of a tree. You fell because I tickled you. There's a big difference." She said with a grin and crossed her arms over her chest. She hadn't seen much of Collin since then and she regretted that. She certainly hadn't stopped thinking about him.
"So, are you enjoying camp?" She asked with a knowing smile. She knew he got stuck with James and Sirius and everyone knew how much trouble they caused. She almost felt bad for him.

"I honestly hate camp, and that was before I got stuck as a damn councellor," he grumbled. Everyone knew he was stuck with the most troublesome cabin. He didn't know WHAT he did to deserve them, maybe the teachers in charge thought they'd fear him or something...
"Tickled, knocked...either way I got a nasty bump on my head cause of you," he teased, poking her arm. "How are you enjoying camp?"

"It's not so bad. I've been having a good time. Got to spend a lot of time with Toby and met his hopefully soon to be girlfriend." She said, a smile on her face as she remembered lunch with the two Slytherins. It was refreshing to see her brother look so happy.
She frowned at Collin and reached up to pat the back of his head, searching for a bump. When she found none she chuckled. "I think you'll be fine. No permanent damage. So you can stop holding that over my head." She teased and stuck her tongue out at him.

"Girlfriend?" Well he was a sh*t friend for not remembering that tidbit of information...or not listening when Toby told him. Most likely the second one. "Geez, I've been so busy wrangling the boys in my cabin, I haven't even seen your brother since camp started," He shoved his hands in his pockets. Oh well, Toby would get over his accidentally ignoring him.
He stuck his tongue out back at her, laughing as he did so. He pointed to the book in her hand. That's new," he said. "Not the same one you were reading last time..."

"Well, she's not his 'girlfriend' yet. But I know she likes him. And he hasn't pushed her away so that's gotta be good right?" She asked rhetorically. She shook her head, trying to stop herself before she got too excited again. She was always getting ahead of herself whenever she got excited.
"I have a lot of books, Collin." She said with a chuckle. "And you might approve of this one. It's a wizard book." She showed him the cover. Like the nerd she was, she was reading Toby's old school books already to get a head start on the next year. Toby always gave her hell for it but she loved reading his old school books.

"Yeah good..." He wasn't sure how he personally felt about the title "girlfriend". He didn't mind having girls who were friends, but the idea of commitment wasn't appealing to him really.
He leaned over and peeked at the title. "Advanced Potions, really Leyla? Homework during the summer, bleck," he took the book from her.

Leyla wondered if she should have kept her mouth shut about Samantha. She had just been so excited and wanted someone to tell about it. Her other friends were pretty uncomfortable talking about Toby. She just hoped Collin wouldn't spread it around. Toby would probably be annoyed and he would probably stop talking to Samantha.
"I happen to like reading for school. And I could use some help in potions. That stuff is complicated!" She said, gesturing to the book. She remembered the last time they talked and thought that it was very similar to then. He was even taking her book from her again. "So, what's your plan now that you're all mature and graduated?"

"Is it that Samantha girl?" he had been digging in his memory until he remembered when Toby asked what Collin though of Samantha Lippre. "If so good for him, he needs a girl around sometimes I think," He fumbled that, being that he was about to say something along the lines of "he needs to get laid."
"Potions isn't that hard, you follow the ingredients basically, don't blow up the cauldron, things like that..." Potions had been Collin's best subject. "Work," he said, flipping through her book and handing it back to her. "Dad owns a shop, and my brother's too busy to run it, so I'll be working there..." Collin knew Toby hadn't said anything to his sister about joining the Death Eaters, and he wasn't about to spill the beans by saying he was considering it also.

Leyla nodded as she thought of the blonde girl. "Yeah, that's her. She seems like a good fit for him. " She said, sitting on a fallen tree. "What about you? Any girls in your life?" She was curious, but for reasons that she probably shouldn't have.
"It seems easy until you actually have to try it. The details that go into making a potion. You could mess up one miniscule detail and the whole potion is ruined." She listened to him talk about his plans and frowned. "You don't some too excited about that. Maybe you should have failed and stayed another year." She teased.

"Me?" he thought for a moment. "Not at the moment, no," which was true...ish. He'd been meaning to go talk to Niela since he got to camp, but Leyla didn't really need to know that.."
"That's why you don't screw up," he winked, chuckling a little. "Believe me, I almost failed my Transfiguration NEWTS. But I'm pretty sure my father would have killed me." He shrugged, moving to sit on a fallen tree covered in moss. "It's not a bad job, but I mean, I didn't see myself stuck in a shop for the rest of my life."

"Is there anybody you're interested in?" She asked, trying to sound as uninterested as possible. She couldn't help but be a little excited to hear that he didn't have anyone he called his girlfriend. She knew she shouldn't feel that way though. What would Toby think?
"Well, although I'm going to miss your sense of humor, I'm glad you didn't fail." She said with a smile. "Where's his shop? Is it at least anywhere interesting?"

Well there were loads of girls he'd seen at camp that seemed interesting enough, but Collin had a feeling Leyla was talking about someone in particular. That was a bad plan, probably not the road he should be going down, flirting with his best friend's sister. "Not sure really," he said, smiling at her. "You know of anyone interested in me?"
Hey what Toby didn't know wouldn't kill him right?
"Its uh...in Knockturn Ally," Collin said, scratching the back of his head. "So I guess you could saay it was in an interesting place?"

Leyla blushed and she tried to hide it. He didn't need to know about her little crush. As if one of Toby's friends would be interested in his little sister. She put on a smile though and shrugged. "I'm sure there's lots of girls interested in you, Collin." She said, not giving anything away.
"Oh, I haven't spent much time there. But I would come visit you when I came to Diagon Alley." She promised, wondering if he'd even want her to.

"It's not really a place people go to hang out. Diagon Ally is a lot...safer." He said this slowly, choosing the correct words to use as he described where the shop was. People weren't normally keen to go to Knockturn Ally, though it wasn't like his father's shop was a candy store or anything...
He saw her blush and he smiled to himself, pretending not to notice so she wouldn't get shy with him now. "Well if you hear of anyone, let me know," he said.

"Well then you can just meet me in Diagon Ally and I'll buy you coffee or something." Leyla said with a smile. She'd been to Knockturn Ally once with Toby and their father. The wizards there weren't very friendly and she had to admit she was a little frightened. She wouldn't want to be going back any time soon.
"There might be one that I know. But it's a secret." She said with a grin. Oh, Toby would have a heart attack if he saw her now.

"Sounds like a plan," he smiled, wondering idly if he'd actually go through with it. Or if he'd just say he would and then blow her off, or she'd not come anyway. He didn't really make plans with girls to hang out...
"A secret?" He asked with a smile, playing as if he had no clue. "Oh come on Leyla, tell me who," he asked.

"Yes, a secret. Which means I can't tell you." Leyla said and stuck her tongue out at him before snatching her book back out of his hand. She opened it up and pretended to read. She knew he wasn't going to drop it though.

"Aw c'mon Leyla," Collin laughed, scooting closer to her and smiling what he hoped would come off as a charming smile. "Please?"
He looked over her shoulder at the potions book. "That's upside down," he smirked, pointing to the book. "C'mon! Just a hint?"
