Leyla blushed and closed the book, setting it aside. She pretended to think about it for a minute. "Hmmm... Nope. No hints." She grinned at him and stood up to stand in front of him. If she reached forward, she would be able to put her hands on his shoulders. With her short height, they were eye level despite him sitting down.
"How about this? I'll tell you...if you can guess it right."

Collin wondered if Leyla knew that he was aware she was talking about herself. He was still juggling the thought that it was probably a bad idea that he was flirting with his best friend's little sister. A little sister that Toby was very protective of in the first place.
"Guess?" he raised his eyebrows, laughing a little. "And I still don't get a hint? What house is she in?" he asked her, smiling.

Leyla considered lying but then she would have to come up with someone else that might be interested in Collin. Then what if it turned out she was right and then end up together? She would hate herself. She chewed on her lip briefly, thinking it over for a moment before responding.
"Ravenclaw," She wondered if he already knew she meant herself or if he was dumber than she thought.

"Hmmm," Colin hummed, deciding to play dumb a little longer. Leyla had to know he knew she was talking about herself, she was pretty smart after all. "So I bet she's pretty smart, being in Ravenclaw and all." He stood up and walked a little, pretending to pace and think. "Do I know her? Like, have I actually spoken to her before?"

"You're digging for hints," She scolded with a smirk and crossed her arms. She watched him pace back and forth and raised an eyebrow. If he did know it was her, or at least think it was, then he just paid her a compliment. She would have said thanks if it wouldn't blow her cover.
"Yes, you know her and you've spoken to her a few times." She answered, despite telling him she wouldn't give hints. "Any guesses?"

"I might have a guess," he smiled at her as he walked. "I just wanted to be sure of all my facts before I made my guess." He hummed again.
"Alright, I think I have a guess," he said after a moment. "The girl I'm thinking of is in Ravenclaw, you gave me that hint," he stepped closer to her as he circled behind her. "She'll be in sixth year this year, reads a lot." He flicked the book in her hand playfully. "She's about yay heigh," he held his hand over her head, then proceeded to latch a finger around some of her hair and gently run his hand down her hair. "Brown hair...stop me if I'm off track..."

"Red hair." Leyla corrected with a blush. If she'd had any doubts that he didn't know before, they just flew out the window. He described her perfectly and even played with her hair as he was 'guessing'. Maybe he wasn't so dumb after all.
"My hair is red." She added, looking up at him with a smirk. "And I think you might be on the right track."

He smiled at her blush. "Right, red, my apologies," he chuckled a little as he came full circle and was standing in front of her, toe to toe with her shoes. He smiled down knowingly, showing off that he had known all along she was talking about herself.
"If I am on the right track," Collin started. "Then my guess is, is it you Leyla Collins, who fancies me?" He smiled down at her.

Leyla's blush deepened profusely. She hadn't even known it were possible for her face to go so red. If it were actually a guess, then it would have been confirmed by the look on her face. She looked up at him confidently, however, and smirked.
"Maaaybee."

"Maybe?" he grinned at her, laughing a little as he spoke. "Well maybe if it is you," he let his fingers trace down her arm, smiling as she blushed red. "Then I'd want to do something about that, but if it's maybe not you," he smirked back at her, thumbs hooking in his front pockets. He could play games too.

Leyla felt goosebumps where he touched her and she tried to keep her voice calm as she responded. "Hmm. Well, if it were me, what would you do about it?" She asked with a teasing tone. She was surprised she didn't hear her voice shake.

He leaned in closer so that they were only inches apart. Leyla was like a doe, he didn't want to scare her and have her run off. In his head, he was listing about 3 million curses he knew Toby would send his way if he could see them right now.
"Well if it were you," he smiled. "What would you want me to do?"

Leyla stared up into his eyes as he moved closer. She was trying to convince herself that it was really happening and she took a deep breath, leaning a fraction of an inch closer to him. She thought about her brother for a moment but decided that even if he were watching at the moment, she wouldn't have stopped. She stood on her toes and pressed her lips against his, praying she wasn't reading him the wrong way.

He smiled into the kiss, feeling rather successful as she pressed her lips to his. He stepped closer to her and kissed her back gently. After a moment, he pulled away, smiling at her from only inches away. He let out a soft laugh. "We probably shouldn't tell your brother..." he smirked.

Leyla felt him smile into the kiss before returning. She smiled as well and looked at him with innocent eyes as he pulled away. She was almost offended when he laughed but she understood when he spoke up. She grinned up at him at the mere thought of them telling Toby. "I was hoping that was kind of a given. Toby would kill you." She said, her arms going around his neck.

He wrapped his arms around her waist. "Just making sure we're on the same page," he said, his smile widening. He leaned in so their foreheads touched. "So you fancy me huh? Why didn't you say anything before?" he asked softly.

"Because, I'm two years younger and your my brother's friend. I never thought you'd fancy me too." Leyla responded with a shrug. It seemed pointless to confirm her feelings as she had already made it pretty obvious. "Was I right? Or do you actually feel the same?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Well I'll admit I was trying not to think about it, because of what you said," he said, navigating the conversation slowly. Girls didn't really like to hear that he wasn't really one to fancy anyone. He'd be perfectly happy with anyone willing to spend some "alone time" with him. "But to be honest it's pretty difficult, trying not to think about you." He smiled.

Leyla knew it wasn't quite what she wanted to hear but to know that he was thinking about her made her smile. She thought about her brother again as her brain told her she should walk away before there was any more damage. She ignored it. "So what are you going to do about it?" She teased, going back to their game.

He grinned at that. He liked a girl that could play and flirt with confidence. He leaned in and captured her lips in another kiss, this one a bit more intense then their first kiss. He held her close to him as they stood there in the middle of the woods, his arms wrapping tighter around her.
