Boring. Everything had become just... boring for Cassius lately. Father was becoming even more irritating in his old age. Remaining at the manor was becoming just uneventful and a constant source of stress upon Cassius. With the manor being well outside of the city limits, it was not like there was much in the way of entertainment nearby. He was just done with it.
It was on Father's latest tirade that Cassius had finally decided that he needed to just get out of the manor for a while. So, he had packed some things and headed to London. At least here, with all the busy streets, attractions, Diagon Alley. And the women, oh of course the women.
He had gotten a room within Avalon Hotel and was enjoying his stay here as much as he can. The freedom of being away from the manor refilled him with energy. He even didn't mind the muggles in the hotel for now. Everything was going great.
It was his second night in London and he had decided that he wanted to see what this new place, Enchanted Nightclub, was like. So, he had wandered in and taken up a seat at the bar for now. But he was keeping an eye out for a booth, if the need came. For now, he was more than happy at the bar, leaning up against it and facing the rest of the club.

She'd been out of the city for far too long. It was Blake's fault, for sure, he kept her locked away like some sort of shameful secret so that his "fragile" little wife and family wouldn't find out about her. But Blake was gone now, dead, and Celeste couldn't quite find it in her blackened little heart to feel badly about it. She was biding her time right now... soon she'd pay a visit to the devastated widow and demand the payment that she felt she was due. But for now... Well, she was going to enjoy the freedom and fun of being in the city again.
Nothing ever happened out in the country, and even if it was her family's ancestral home, she rather wished she hadn't had to spend so much time there. She never should have let Blake treat her like he owned her. That was her mistake. No woman should allow a man to control her so absolutely. From now on, she was going back to playing the game her way.
It was really no surprise that Celeste was drawn to a place like Enchanted. It was exactly the kind of place she belonged... a place where she could flirt and tease and drink and dance. They didn't have clubs like this up north.
There was a long line waiting to get in, but, of course, a woman who looked like Celeste didn't have to wait in line. She just sashayed her way over to the bouncer with her ample hips swaying, and he was waving her in without question. Oh, yes, it was going to be a fun night.
Inside the club, she had barely taken two steps inside before men were coming up to her, trying to ask her to dance. But she ignored the lot of them and made her way straight to the bar. She stood there for a moment, twirling a lock of her red hair around her fingers and waiting for the inevitable offer to buy her a drink. Celeste never paid for her own drinks.

Cassius watched around the club at all of the young ladies around, looking for fun. The bouncer had done a good job at admittance into the club for the more attractive women in line. Even as he thought that, a very attractive woman was walking his way up to the bar to take a seat.
She sat a few seats down from him and he called the bar tender over. He passed him some money and told him its for what ever the woman wanted, the continued leaning, nonchalantly, against the bar, as if he had done nothing under the sun.
For now, while the bartender was taking care of that little detail, Cassius continued gazing out into the crowd.

Most of the time adventures with Valerius were exciting, rarely did she ever have a boring moment, but London was just not the place for her it seemed. Everything was so dull, well aside from Bronwyn so far. There was nothing to do. It didn't help that Valerius griped and moaned every time she wanted to go out. That was why she kept tonight a secret. There was a club and she was going, she had never gone to an English club before and was rather excited to try one out, although she didn't have too high hopes for the evening.
But there was a problem at the front apparently there was the longest line ever. She was waiting when another lady passed by her and got in without waiting in line. That was far from fair. She made a huff about it for a split second when someone took notice.

"Impatient are we?"
Derek wasn't waiting in line, he never had to, but he was waiting for someone, a female someone who was late. Very late, though he wasn't surprised. Had the girl actually showed up then perhaps he would have raised a brow. He was about to leave when he witnessed the scene and Faith's impatient huff.

(OOC: Switching between Faith and Derek on the accounts is going to be exhausting since it's only a few lines, so I'm merging them here)
"She just walked in." Faith replied blinking.
When he chuckled in response Faith grew annoyed, he added fuel to the fire when he told her that was the way things were done here.
"Well I'm not from here."
"Obviously" he replied looking over her clothing which was flattering to her, but far from the norm as London was concerned. "Hmm..." he quirked a side grin and then stepped forward "There is another way in."
Intrigued she almost went with him, tempted by his charm and certainly by his looks but defiant as ever she tilted her chin up, "That wouldn't be fair."
"And do you always play by the rules?"
It was bad, and irked her, but she had been pushed past her limit as far as annoyances went, looked at the people beside her and then stepped out of line, "Not especially." she answered.
He smiled then took her hand and led her to the front, with a nod directed at the guard they opened the doors and Faith stepped inside. Her eyes widened...now this...this could be fun.

Celeste was scanning the crowds with a cool detachment, trying to spot someone with possible potential. The dance floor was, typically, over-run with rhythmically-challenged guys who thought they were cooler than they actually were, and girls with an utter lack of imagination. Not an impressive display, she had to admit, but it was certainly better than another night in the country.
She had just turned back to the bar when the bartender approached her, asking her what she wanted and saying that her drink was already paid for. Celeste smiled and ordered a white wine spritzer before taking a sideways glance down the bar to see who had just bought her a drink.
One man certainly caught her eye. He was dark and handsome, with a powerful build and an air of mystery. Well... if he had bought her drink, then the evening was about to get a bit more interesting.

Cassius had been looking over at the entrance into the club when Celeste's drink order was taken. Another very attractive woman had stepped into the bar. Only problem was that there was another man on her arm. Oh well. There were plenty of other women there that night.
Cassius glanced up the bar and noticed the woman that he had bought the drink for was glancing at him. He flashed her a smile and ran a hand through his short hair. This night could get interesting.
He made his way to her other side, where an empty seat was, and sat himself down. He ordered a basic drink, just rum and coke for now, and turned to her, once again smiling subtly. He leaned forward and spoke a few inches from her ear so she could hear him. It was a bit loud in the club, but shouting was never appropriate when trying to hook up with someone. Makes you look like an amateur.
"So, I'm a bit new to London. Do you know your way around here? Cause I'm a bit lost."

Celeste smirked as the man approached her. But as he came closer, the smirk became an appreciative smile. He was quite a fine specimen of a man, to be sure. He was the proverbial tall, dark, and handsome type, possibly a little jaded and looking for a fun way to spend the evening. She had a hard time picturing such a man jiggling about on the dance floor. If Celeste had to guess, she would say that he was the kind of man that liked expensive things--fine wine and port, and beautiful women. Well, the last bit was obvious--he was talking to her, after all, wasn't he?
She looked up at him, her eyes slanted seductively. "I've been out of London for a few years myself," she replied. "But I do know of a few interesting spots..."

He once again flashes a sideways smile at her before looking, disinterestedly, back out onto the dance floor. Hook, line...
"Oh? And what are some interesting points around town here? You'll forgive me, I am from the country lands. A big city like this, a man could get lost without a tour guide."
The subtle smile had remained on his lips the entire time. When his drink was brought forward, he paid, with tip, and brought the glass to his lips, taking a long drink.

Celeste watched him appreciatively. Too many times, a pretty girl would act demure and innocent and avert her eyes, allowing the men to make all the moves. Not Celeste. She appreciated a good-looking man, she liked to watch the way he moved, the smile on his lips, the flare in his eyes. She liked to observe other things about men, too, but most of those things were covered up for now. There would be time for that later.
After a moment, she took a sip from her own drink. The timing was such that he would now have to watch her as she drank while he waited for an answer.
Finally she looked over at him, smiling seductively. Being a witch had many advantages, and one of them, for her, just happened to be a magical lipstick that never faded and was always bright red and shiny.
"Well, you found your way here, and that's a good start," she replied with deliberate slowness. "There are plenty of other bars and shops, but let's face it, you could find those anywhere. But if you're looking for a really interesting spot... that would have to be my hotel room."

It was Faith's fault, she wasn't looking where she was going, simply wrapped up by the sights around her and anticipating the experience to come she lost her otherwise graceful nature and stumbled right into Celeste.
Someone along the way had handed her a drink, she now held an empty cup which previous contents had just been spilled on the pretty redhead.
"Oh my god...I'm so sorry..." she blinked rapidly unable to believe what she had just done, she didn't even react at first.

Derek wasn't even really looking for another conquest that evening, he just needed a drink, but when he saw the girl's huffy impatience he had been amused and wanted to help her. Of course after he did his part to help, he wasn't really interested in having the girl. Not that she wasn't beautiful, she was quite attractive, and spunky as well...perhaps she was too young for him, innocent and naive he really wasn't sure.
So he let her go on her way and explore. He didn't give her a second glance until hearing her voice as she apologized to another woman. Taking in the scene he almost laughed but held it in and waited to see if his assistance would be required.

"Your hotel room... huh?"
His thought was interrupted by a girl running straight into Celeste, spilling her drink down the woman's dress. Cassius quickly jumped forward, grabbing the girls elbow and pulling her back, looking down at her sternly.
His eyes glanced back at Celeste then back down at the girl, still remaining stern as he looked at her. She was young, barely even able to be in this place. He frowned, making himself look even more in charge and mature.
"Be careful and watch out! What do you think you are doing?"
He continues frowning down at her, waiting an answer as he motions to the bar tender to bring something to wipe up the mess. He pulls out his wand to begin to siphon up the liquid on Celeste.

Celeste let out an angry shriek as she felt cold liquid splash onto her dress. She was wearing black, of course, and the drink appeared to be white wine, so at least it wouldn't stain... but in the meantime, she was wet and smelled like a winery. Another couple of seconds and Celeste was sure she would have been out of here with the man, whose name she had not yet bothered to learn.
"You clumsy clod!" she cried, whirling around to face the stupid girl. Honestly, the girl looked like she had just fallen off the proverbial turnip truck. She probably had been wandering around, looking at everything but what was right in front of her. "Don't you watch where you're going?"

It was a double take when she was being scolded, "Valerius!" she yelped. "What are you doing here?!" she was in trouble, so much trouble. "Listen I can explain I was just-"
She wasn't even concerned with Celeste, the fact that she had been caught by her guardian was bad enough, but then righteous indignation came to the forefront as a defense.
"Wait a minute, this is a club and you're out here? Just having fun? How come you get to go out and have fun and I have to stay at the hotel all day? You didn't even want me going out with Bronwyn. Is this your idea of keeping a low profile?" she was rapid firing the questions but now had a finger in his chest and was poking at him.

Derek was already making his way toward his young temporary ward when he caught more of the conversation, apparently the girl knew the man, perhaps she could salvage the situation herself...if not he was there and prepared to help out the young innocent girl. It put him in a noble light, but so be it, he had his whims and indulged them upon occasion... then again perhaps Suzie was getting to him.

Celeste, on the other hand, watched these events with an unconcerned smile on her painted lips. She didn't care if this girl knew the man or not, or what their relationship happened to be. She'd been the other woman before, and she'd even been caught doing so. She had no shame about it; after all, it was obvious that when a man went looking somewhere else that he was not getting everything he needed from the first woman. And they could absolutely get it from her.
She regarded the girl with a cool, assessing gaze. Celeste supposed she was pretty enough, but she positively reeked of naivety. The man beside her couldn't possibly be satisfied by that... it was so bloody boring.
And then there was the second man, who seemed to be sort of hovering protectively. He was also quite attractive, and she wondered what he had to do with this situation. And if, by chance, the first man--Valerius?--left with the girl, maybe she would have a chance with the second man. Celeste really didn't see herself losing in this situation.
"Oh, I assure you, sugar, I can be very discreet," Celeste said sweetly, turning back to the girl.

Cassius got distracted for half a moment as the bartender handed him the towel. It did not help that the club was very loud. Because of these factors, he did not quite hear the name this niave girl spoke out. By the time he could hear her again, her finger was to his chest and she was scolding him for being there.
Cassius could take a lot of crap from people, but this was not the time for it. He did not even know this girl, yet she was speaking to him as if she had known him for years. A subtle growl grew in his throat, nothing that could be heard over the music. This little annoyance may cost him more than just a moment of irritation. So far, she was costing him the entire night.
Finally, he grabbed her wrist and pulled it away from his chest. Not violently, just sternly and strong enough to where she couldn't poke him any more and she couldn't get away. He stared down at her as her 'guardian' showed up.
"Look, you little twit. I don't know who you are, and personally, I don't really give a damn either. As far as I am concerned, you are just a clumbsy little girl who needs to learn some mannors, and possibly get some glasses."
He gently pushed Faith back towards Derek, giving him a look of 'keep your girl under control' and turned back to Celeste. Perhaps he could still salvage the situation and have at least a decent night.
"Sorry about that, Love. This place is starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth. Would you like to take this conversation somewhere else. Somewhere less crouded and with fewer..." he glanced towards Faith, "intrusions?"

Faith was honestly surprised into silence for a moment, it wasn't that Valerius hadn't been rough with her, in his own gentle sort of way, she wasn't unaccustomed to Valerius shoving her where he wanted her to go, however the look in his eyes and his words were surprising enough to her. Finally it dawned on her that this was some sort of punishment, she didn't like that at all.
"Why of all the nerve." she said stomping her foot. She hadn't even noticed Derek coming up behind her, "You're a real jerk you know that! You drag me all the way out to this lifeless country then lock me up in a hotel all day! I finally break free for a little small taste of freedom and this is how you punish me? By pretending not to know who I am? You're being very cruel right now Valerius and I don't like it at all. You think you can shove everyone around and make them bend to your will simply because you say it and when they don't then you just cut them out of your life, but I'll have you know I am the best damn thing in your life and you better never forget that!"
