Derek quirked a brow at the man and his silent order to keep Faith under control, that wasn't his job in the least, and the way the girl was going off on him he supposed that there was no power great enough to keep that girl under control. Still it was a crowded club, and noisy enough, she obviously upset, and it was very easy for club mentality to escalate, whether he liked it or not he was going to look after her.
If everything she was saying was true then he supposed that the man was known to her, and that this was some sort of revenge...Derek didn't care for such petty games.

Cassius stopped. Celeste could visually see his eyes widen. First his eyes moved towards the girl, then his entire body. In only a couple of quick steps, he was on the girl. Not violently, not with an intent to harm her. But he just couldn't control himself. That name.
"What did you call me?"
He looked around. Not here. It was too crouded. If something came of this in a public area, he wouldn't want to be seen going off. Tabloids were bad enough, he didn't need to give them amo.
He quickly glanced towards the red headed woman. Damn, she was hot. But there were more important matters to attend to. Without an answer from Faith, he turned back towards Celeste.
"I appologize for all of this, my dear. And I hope you may find it in your beautiful heart to forgive me, but I must deal with something."
He hands her a card:
Cassius Knight Knight Mannor King's Lynn, England
He pointed his wand at the back of the card and letters quickly appeared across there:
Avalon Hotel Room 713
"Contact me any time."
He flashed her a quick and charming smile before turning back to the girl, the stern look across his face once more. He grabbed her by the elbow and began walking her towards the door.
"You have a lot of explaining to do."

Her mouth hung open like a fish slightly she didn't understand what he was doing, or what was going on, but she was more surprised that he hadn't melted at her words and apologized for being as gruff with her as he had been, the truth was he was rather soft where she was concerned so why he was still so angry didn't make sense.
Then he grabbed her elbow and she had that initial fear back again was she in trouble? She waited til they were outside before yanking her arm back, "Excuse me! But you cannot just go around dragging girls left and right someone might think you're not a gentleman." she scoffed then massaged her elbow.

Derek watched the interaction keenly then followed them outside, he wasn't about to step in unless he was needed, by the looks of it Faith's elbow was alright, and he was interested in what was going on, still he wouldn't hesitate to use force against Cassius to let him know that hurting Faith was out of the question.

His frustration with this girl was just growing more and more. He pulled her out of the club and down the street a short way. Far enough to be out of ear shot from the rest of the clubers waiting in line. He glanced back towards the door and noticed that her guardian was following them and scowled at that.
Turning back to Faith, he placed her between him and the wall. He wanted answers and didn't want her to run off without giving them.
"Look, I don't know who you are but you better be bloody quick on giving me some answers. How do you know the name Valerius? Why did you call me him? And what do you want with me?"
He had heard his brother's name many time, but only spoken from the mouth of his father. But it was always the same thing. Why can't you be more like your brother? If your brother was here... Your brother would have known better... And now this girl actually thought he was his brother.

"Stop it!" she growled pushing him back forcefully, "It's not funny anymore!" she yelled, then slightly saddened, "I just want to go back to the hotel." she crossed her arms against her chest and turned away from him though she was trapped within his arms. She began noticing the differences then Valerius had a scar on his hand from a fight long ago, Faith knew because she had done the healing, Valerius could have lived a scar free life but he preferred to keep them to remind him each time how close he had come to death.
Something else that was different was his scent, Valerius didn't smell the way Cassius did and for a moment it made her knees weaken though she showed no outward sign of it. Now that she looked at him, really looked at him he didn't look like Valerius at all, well they were identical that much was certain, but Faith knew the differences and could start pointing them all out. She was about to ask him who the hell he was when Derek stepped in.

He cleared his throat slightly when Cassius cornered her but still Faith looked as if she were handling herself just fine.
"Alright then perhaps I can clear a few things up." stepping closer to them he explained to Faith, " This is Cassius Knight." he knew that because it was his job to know anyone worth knowing, and the Knight story was a tragedy well known at least to some. "I assume you are referring to his twin brother Valerius...which is an easy enough mistake were the boy not dead."
Assumed dead anyway, stolen away many years ago. It was possible this was a ruse some last attempt to get at the Knight money but in that case she'd either have to be extremely talented as an actress or truly the man that she knew had convinced her that he was Valerius Knight.

"Valerius is not dead!" she said vehemently, then she looked between them, "And I don't know what you two psychos are going on about or what you want with him, but if you know what's good for you, you'll stay away from us or I swear I'll..." Valerius would have some wonderful threat right about now, something that would scare both gentlemen off their toes, well ordinary gentlemen that was, but Faith was a little less intimidating, " I'll cut off your eyelids and put a sleeping curse on you." it was a juvenile threat although fairly descriptive, and she was willing to do it too but for now all she wanted was to get out of there and go back to the hotel.

Cassius was beyond frustrated now. Yes, the Knight story was a well known thing. But this girl seemed completely convinced a second ago that he was Valerius. People had tried a lot of things involving Val to try to get some of the Knight fortune. But this was a new one to Cassius. A growl escaped him and he pounded his fist against the wall before turning his back on the girl.
Cassius ran his hands threw his hair for a moment, thinking, before he finally turned back to the girl. He grabbed her shoulder, gently this time, and pushed her away from the wall, past him and towards the Hotel.
"Get out of here. And don't try that sort of crap on me again. My brother's dead and I really don't need to be reminded of the fact by some bloody girl."
He turned away from her, her back completely towards her and holds out his right hand towards the man.
"Thanks. As I'm sure you have figured out, the name is Cassius Knight."

She was confused, more confused about anything she had ever been confused about this had to be some kind of mistake or cruel joke she didn't understand it, and wasn't sure it was within her understanding. When he pushed her away she felt cold, before she knew it she was running, running back to the man she called home to see for herself that he wasn't dead.

Derek saw her scampering off then shrugged his shoulders, and smiled toward the man, " I believe we've met." he said with a nod and took the man's hand, "Although I've been out of the country for quite a few years, Derek Burke." he glanced again around the man in the direction that Faith had scampered off, "It may be none of my business, but aren't you the least bit curious what that was about?"

"Oh of course! Yes, Derek. I remember you. I heard that you had left the country for a time."
He glanced over his shoulder at the girl running off. He began to turn towards where she was running, but not yet turning his back on Derek. He began to adjust his jacket.
"Of course I am. But do you think I'm going to let her know that? If I did, she probably wouldn't return to where she normally would. Now I can actually follow her back to who ever she thinks I was. If there is someone impersonating my brother, I would like to know that. Want to join me on a bit of a spy mission?"
Cassius smirked and began to walk after the girl towards the hotel. He pulled out his wand to prepare to apparate to an alley way near the hotel. Silly girl was going to run the entire way. He was sure to beat her there.

Derek shook his head, he had had enough melodrama for the evening and he was sure that he would run into the duo again in the future. He made a mental note to pay a visit to the Knight Residence to check on matters in the future. Derek was phenomenal at reading people and didn't read any deception in the young girl, could it be that the eldest Knight was still alive after all this time?
He let the man run off and went his own way.

Faith was too upset with the entire matter she didn't look to see if she was being followed, she didn't even notice Cassius behind her. Running straight to the hotel she only calmed down just before entering the doors she proceeded to walk calmly up to her room and only then looked to both sides before opening the room door.
"Valerius?" it was a soft spoken whisper with a hint of worry. Silence.
"Valerius are you there?" she turned on the lights and moved closer into the center of the room but it was empty.

Faith was too loud this trip, wanting to make friends and actually making them. She was like this everywhere they went, but Valerius had a secret in England one that he couldn't afford getting out therefore he left her. He would collect her at the end of the trip as usual and keep an eye out on her as well so she didn't get into too much trouble, but he wasn't going to stick around.
There was a note on the bed explaining as much.
