Yes, losing her wand was a set back. But then again, she was leaving a trail. Her cloak was still at Ambrosia, now her wand in the street. The point was, someone would know something happened to her.
If anything happened to her. She was a little too fearless, afterall, even if heights and this man scared the hell out of her.
"Let go!" she insisted. There was no way she was going down without a fight. "I'll scream again. Really loud."
Then, before he had the chance to stop her, she took a deep breath and screamed for someone to help her in that high pitched tone that only a child can use.
"Mum's going to be so angry," she added when she was out of wind.

Why was this child being so difficult?! Easy, because she's her mother's daughter. Pavel answered his own question. "Don't you..." but he didn't stop her in time and she began to scream. "Damit!" he swore, his accent getting thicker as he got more annoyed. He pulled her into a allyway near by so they were at least out of site. When she stopped, he shoved her up against the wall and placed his hand over her mouth. "If you so much as make anouther sound..." he huffed, glaring right into her eyes. "I will have no choice but to kill you, understand me?" He paused for a momnet, his large had covering a good portion of her small face.
"And as for your mother," he said. "If she knew what was best for her she'd come crawling back." to him, where she belonged. A wife and a child were meant to obey the man of the house, and Pavel did not like being disobeyed.
Now he needed to either figure out on his own how to get back to "normal people" London, or he needed to find Trevor. Either way, dragging Danica along was going to make it difficult.

"Ow," Dani hissed when her back met the stone wall behind her with some force.
His words shut her up, though, pretty effectively, and she nodded her understanding under his hand. How was she supposed to compete with that? Even if she had her wand, the worst she could do was stupify him.
She stared back at him for a long moment when she was released. Then, she took a breath.
"You're hurting me," she said, her voice quiet. It really should have been more past tense, but she was testing him to see how solid that threat was.

"You need to keep that girl quiet if you don't want to get caught," Trevor commented, stepping out from behind a dumpster. He now had a hood shielding his face from view, and he had been waiting in the alleyway, anticipating that Pavel would pass by this way. "I don't know why I have to think of everything. She's your kid."
He pulled out a roll of Spellotape and tore off a piece, sticking it over the girl's mouth. "That should keep her quiet. Now take my hand and I'll get you out of here."

"Why you little!" He raised his hand to strike her when Trevor startled him from the end of the allyway. "Well I was trying, she's as stubborn as Aurelia." He rolled his eyes.
Tape. Leave it to Trevor to think of something to make Pavel look like an idiot. "Fine, whatever," Pavel said, dragging a now finally quiet Danica over to Trevor. "Is there a better way of doing this? I don't like this 'appearing' thing."

Dani flinched, turning her head to the side to try and avoid pavel's hand. So he clearly meant what he said about not making a sound. Like children often did, she was just testing her boundaries.
She wasn't sure what to make of the second man who showed up, his face hidden, except that she knew instantly she didn't like him.
But she and Pavel had something in common... She didn't care for apparating either. Mostly it was because Aurelia rarely did it, and she pulled against him, shaking her head.

Trevor groaned. "Muggles," he grumbled contemptuously. It'd serve the git right if Trevor left him here to fend for himself.
"Fine," he said. "But if I get busted for making an unlicensed portkey, I'm going to expect your old man to pay my way out of it."
He looked around and found an old shoe. Tapping it with his wand, he murmured a low spell over it, transforming it into a portkey. Then he levitated it up so that it was in front of Pavel. "Both of you have to touch it and it will take you to your place. I'll meet you there. It's either this or you hold onto me and we'll apparate. There's no other way to get there fast enough without being seen."

Pavel looked at the shoe and then at Trevor with a look of disbelief. "Seriously, it's called a car, its not a difficult concept..." he said. But, trusting Trevor, Pavel reached out and placed a hand on the rotton looking shoe.
"Come on," he tugged on his daughter, bringing her forward and forcing her hand onto the shoe as well. Moments later, he felt a tug behind his navel and they were pulled away from the allyway.

Try as she might, Pavel was stronger than her, and she had no choice but to touch the shoe. This didn't stop her from shooting an angry glare at the man who was helping Pavel. Not that it would do any good.
And it went without saying that Dani was terrified when she felt the pull behind her belly button. It meant she was leaving the area, and no one would know where she was. She wouldn't know where she was either.
But if this man had made them the portkey, he knew where they were going.
When they landed, her eyes were wide, trying to take everything in.

Pavel decided that he, in no circumstances whatsoever, liked any form of Magical transportation. Next he knew, Trevor would be telling him to climb on the back of a BROOM and expect it to fly! The 'porky' made him feel sick to his stomach, but he said nothing as they landed on the ground.
Pavel had rented out a warehouse out in the industrial outskirts of London. If anyonw ere to ask it was for his father's business, and they were looking to expand. For now, it would be a good place to keep Danica. Far away from any civilization.

Trevor had apparated there and was already there when they arrived. He stepped out from behind a wall, folding his arms over his chest. "I can't believe you'd rather take one of those clunky muggle vehicles," he said. "You have to admit, this way is so much faster."
Muggles. He didn't understand them. They were so unenlightened, always relying on devices to do things for them. He wouldn't have anything to do with them, if not for the occasional money he could get from them.
"Bring her inside and keep her tied up and quiet. This area's usually pretty isolated, but you don't want to take any chances. Once I'm sure you're settled here, I'll leave you and contact your father."

Pavel looked around subconsciously before dragging Danica inside. There was a lot of machinery around the lower level, more of the facade he had set up. Up a flight of stairs there was a little office space where Pavel had a desk, his bag, and a cot. Home sweet home.
"Come on," he pulled her to the desk chair and pushed her in the seat. He had brought some rope from home after he and Trevor agreed on the kidnapping scheme. He tied Danica to the chair tightly, pulling the not behind her and just out of her reach. "There we are, nice and cozy right?" he smiled, patting her shoulder heavily.

Danica was frustrated when the second man showed up again. She was frustrated by all of it, and scared, though she wouldn't admit that much. If he would just take the tape off...
He had to be planning something soon, right? He couldn't leave her tied to a chair for days on end. She had to sleep, and go to the bathroom, and eat, and she had school on Monday.
Wishing she knew how to do wandless magic, she started testing the strength of the knot, seeing if she could rotate it so that she could get her fingers on it.

Trevor had followed them silently to the little office and supervised as Pavel tied the girl up. He would never admit it, of course, but he was having second thoughts about his involvement in this. Not because he felt pity or anything for the girl. But it was suddenly seeming so much more complicated. Pavel was an idiot, and Trevor did not trust the man’s father, either. All those promises of money… well, he hadn’t exactly delivered to his satisfaction in the past. And the list of traceable offenses he had already performed for Pavel—escorting him into a wizarding establishment, using the Dark Mark as a distraction, creating an unlicensed portkey... they were starting to add up.
“Think you can sit tight here for a day or two and keep out of trouble?” he asked Pavel. “I’ll see if I can secure one of those muggle vehicles you wanted, and I’ll see if I can get a few guards… I would use magical protections to keep the place secure, but then you’d never be able to get back in.”

(totally didn't see that it was my turn)
"Yea Mum, I'll be fine," Pavel said. He was becomming more and more agrivated with the idea that Trevor was treating him like a pathetic idiot. Seriously, he did know who was paying him right? (even if it was really just Pavel's father.) "Do what you have to do, we'll be fine here," he smiled without his teath and sqeezed Danica's shoulder. "We'll catch up on some father-daughter bonding, wont we?"

Tonight Henri was going to go visit Aurelia at Ambrosia. He thought that it would be approriate if he went. Besides, he wanted to hear her play the piano, and it also gave him another reason to spend some more time with her.
He stopped by the flower shop on his way to Ambrosia and bought a bouquet of different colored daises. Henri figured that it would be better than roses. Maybe next time he would bring her roses, but for the first time of bringing her flowers, he thought he would do something different.
Nearing Ambrosia, Henri heard all of the loud noise coming from there. Quickly, Henri started running, seeing all of the chaos. People yelling, wondering what was going on. His eyes landed on the Dark Mark. His thoughts immediately went to Aurelia. What if something happened to her? He didn't even think that Dani would have slipped away from school. Henri fought his way through the people, the flowers getting a little messed up along the way.
Reaching the Dark Mark, Henri quickly pulled out his wand and muttered "Deletrius" to make the Dark Mark quickly disappear. He looked around with his mind turning with all sorts of thoughts. He needed to find out what happened, but he wasn't sure who he could get to answer him in this chaos. Seeing that people started to calm down a fraction, noticing the dark mark gone, Henri walked to the nearest person to find out what happened.

Aurelia had been in the kitchen when the chaos first began. Rita wasn't in yet, but she had been talking to the barmaid, Brendam and had no idea what had been going on outside in the club until people began running around and screaming. Some of the customers began pushing their way into the kitchens, and Aurelia and the others had tried their best to keep them back and start a more organized evacuation.
It wasn't until things began to settle down and most of the screaming people were gone, that she looked up and saw the menacing figure on the ceiling. She had never seen the Dark Mark before, but the sight of the glowing green skull and the snake that seemed to slither out of its mouth sent chills down Aurelia's spine. Her first thought on seeing it was that she was very glad that Dani was safe at school.
The Dark Mark vanished abruptly, and the room seemed much lighter again. Aurelia looked around and was surprised to see Henri standing there, his wand in the air. Without even thinking about it, she ran right to him and threw her arms around him.
"Henri! Thank Merlin you're here!"

The person that Henri was going to ask about what happened seemed to be a little out of sorts. Before he could see Aurelia running to him, he felt her arms around him. His arms went around her and held her close to him. He knew without paying attention who it was.
"Tu es bien," he whispered as he held onto her. He was glad to see that she was fine. Henri pulled back a little to look her over, making sure that everything was perfectly fine. When he was satisfied knowing that she was alright, he moved a hand and put it on her cheek. "What happened," he asked.

Aurelia clung to him for a moment longer. It just seemed natural and right... She was scared and he was there; of course she was going to take comfort in his arms.
Her breathing slowed and she looked at him. "Yes, I'm fine. I wasn't even in the room when it happened... I'm not even sure what did happen, except that someone put that... that symbol in the air. Is that... his mark?" she asked fearfully, knowing that Henri, as an auror, would know of whom she was speaking. "You don't suppose.... he was here, do you?"

Rita, as usually, was on her way to work early. The house was too quiet anymore without Chelsea and without her husband, and Kieran lived on his own. She wondered if his apartment was too quiet for him, too.
Either way, she always left for work just a little early for the social interactions. Maybe it was a sad statement, but she needed people around her.
What she found at Ambrosia, however, was pure chaos. There were several people in the street outside, though they were beginning to filter in again. She hurried inside, spotting Aurelia right away with a young man.
"Aurelia," she interupted them. "Are you all right? What happened?"
