James nodded. "One can only hope," replied James. "So I've been thinking. We need something so that we can get by people in order to do our pranks, other than the cloak. Although, I haven't really thought about what that item could be."

"That would be cool. Maybe we could pass it on, so that anyone like us could use it. Of course we'd have to come up with something so that not everyone could see it, like something secretive. I think that maybe we should meet up with Remus and Peter to ask them what they think some time."

Remus had been upstairs in the Gryffindor common room when he had looked out the window and seen James and Sirius down by the lake. Quickly, he had decided to head down there and see what they were up to. As he approached, he saw Sirius looking in his direction, and he walked faster until he reached them. "Hey, guys, what's up?"

Sirius groaned. "It sucked," he said, rolling his eyes. "I swear, man, I can't wait to get away from my parent's house. It's like the most miserable, dreary, soul-killing place in the world. Instead of locking up dark wizards in Azkaban, they should just throw them in my house. My mum's worse than any old dementor."

James raised an eyebrow. "Well, we're up to the usual. Trying to see what we can come up with for fun. Say Remus, we were thinking, what if we came up with something that allows us to get through Hogwarts and such with out being seen, like we can see where other people are, and we can avoid them. What do you think?"

I was thinking we could try exploring using your cloak, and then we could write down what we find, like a map or something. Maybe we could even combine the two things, you know?"

A grin spread across James' face. "Well, that sounds like a plan Remus. What do you say to we try them tomorrow evening, or even Friday? We could just scribble down where we find them and what opens them, and of course were they lead," said James. "Of course we can figure it out. It'll just take time and drawing, and of course a few spells. We have to have it secret so that no one else can see it but the user. You know, like a password."
