Hayden was completely tired when he reached his apartment last night. He barely made it to his couch before collapsing on it and going to sleep. That was somewhat of a bad mistake because he had a crick in his neck when he woke up the next morning.
Everything that happened last night seemed somewhat of a dream. Riley coming to him and Ted, asking for help to go after his uncle. On top of all that, Roland came back and killed Blake! Hayden would have believed it was just a dream if he didn't see the bruise that appeared on his back in the mirror just as he got in the shower that morning.
After he was dressed, it was up to him to spread the news that Roland was back. Sighing, he picked up his wand and stuffed it into his pocket before making his way to see Cyrus. Cyrus was the first on his list because he knew that he would want to go see Roland and Hayden wanted to give him a little time before everyone else wanted to visit.
Arriving at Cyrus' door, Hayden raised his hand and knocked.

Cyrus had started to come to terms that Roland was gone. There wasn't anything he could really do about it other than just feel sad and Roland wouldn't have wanted him to really grieve. Lina was helping him considerably because most of his thoughts were on helping her get things ready for the wedding. Between her and Mara, Cyrus was almost back to normal.
With the new Daily Prophet in hand, he heard a knock on the door. "I'll get it," he said before putting his paper down. Opening the door he saw Hayden on the other side. Last time he saw Hayden on the other side of the door... Cyrus shook that thought from his head. "Hayden, good morning." He looked curiously at his cousin before opening the door a little wider. "Want to come in?"

As soon as the door opened, Hayden took in Cyrus' appearance. He looked a lot better than the last time he saw him. "Um, sure but I can only stay for a few minutes." Hayden figured that he shouldn't cause any alarm for Cyrus nor Lina.
"Morning, Lina, Mara." He gave them a smile and then looked back to Cyrus. "Look, I came here because well, I have pretty good news." Hayden was actually excited that he had good news to spread but his face would never show it. "Last night, Ted and I went to go help Riley because she asked. She was going after the last person that Roland had been after, the one that supposedly killed him. Before we started to fight him, Roland came out of nowhere." He grew quite for a moment. They didn't really need to know all the details at the moment. "Roland is alive Cyrus."

"Good news?" Cyrus' eyebrows rose before casting a glance at Lina. He carefully listened to what his cousin was saying but the last words caught him off guard. "Roland is alive? What are you talking about Hayden? You're the one that came to us a little less than two months ago telling us that he was dead!"
Confusion was written all over his face. He knew that Hayden wouldn't ever come to tell a lie especially about this. How was Roland alive? It just didn't make any sense.

Cyrus' reaction was something that he had predicted. It was similar to Mathieu's and Hayden pretty much expected that was what everyone else's reactions were going to be like.
"Yes, Roland is alive. All I know is that he faked his death, how I don't know. I don't know all the details or anything. But I do know that last night, Roland came back to fight. To make a long story short, he succeed in ending the fight. He and Riley both are at St. Mungo's. Roland had a pretty nasty gash but they've healed him up. As for Riley, she's there for observation I think." Hayden decided to wait on telling Cyrus that Riley was pregnant. Roland could do that whenever he saw him.
"If you want to visit him, go ahead. I've still got to tell my parents and the rest of the kids."

He was still confused but he knew that he would end up going down to St. Mungo's anyway. The idea that Roland was alive, just as he got over the fact that he was gone caused Cyrus to have mixed emotions. He didn't know what to think.
"Th-thanks Hayden," he said. Cyrus took a few steps and sat down next to Lina. Looking to her, the look on his face asked if she wanted to go before he could voice the question. "We could take Mara with us. I think it would be okay." He was starting to get the sudden need to see his brother.

"I'll see you soon," he said before giving them a finally smile and then heading for the door.
Once he closed the door behind him, Hayden headed directly to his parents' house. Today was going to be a long day that was for sure. Just the visit with Cyrus and Lina gave him an insight of how long and repetitive the day was actually going to be. Telling his parents wasn't going to be that bad, he didn't think but telling the kids at school that would probably be another story. He saw how Jamie reacted as well as Ama. They reacted oppositely. As for his own siblings, he was worried about how they would react as well.
Arriving at his parents' house, Hayden didn't bother knocking, he just let himself in. "Mum? Dad?"

Judah didn't even hear the door open. He was relaxing in the sitting room with a cup of coffee. It was too early to drink anything alcoholic. After all, Suri would have his head if he tried to drink anything alcoholic this early. Life for them had continued to move forward. It wouldn't stop for nothing and Judah knew that. He wanted to do whatever he could for Mathieu to get out of the mess he was in but he knew nothing could really change that, unless Roland some how came back from the dead.
Hearing his son's voice, he called, "We're in here."

His father's voice led him into the sitting room. "Morning dad, mum." Hayden didn't really spend that much time at home but when he came to visit it never led them to question why he was there. That was a slight relief.
Hayden put a smile on his face as he usually did when he came to visit them. After his father offered him a cup of coffee, he shook his head. "I can't stay that long. I just stopped by for a quick visit, but thanks." He would definitely have to make this up to his mother. She liked for him to usually stay for a meal if not longer but today was not going to be one of those days.
"I have some news." Hayden cleared his throat. "I know you're going to ask millions of questions but I don't know all the details. I just know about what happened last night."

"Hello, Hayden dear," Suri said faintly from her position on the couch.
She herself was clutching a small cup of coffee, and had been staring a little blankly out the window. Hayden's surprise visit was a nice surprise, and she sat up straight, smiling. Suri couldn't get enough of her children after Roland's death. Everytime Suri heard from one of them, she couldn't help but let out a relieved breathe. She couldn't bear to lose anyone more. Everything in the family had gone down hill.
"Good news? Have you found yoruself a nice lady friend?" Suri asked politely.

"A nice lady friend," Hayden repeated with a questionably look. "No, no, I haven't found one of those." Leave it to his mother to think that he found himself, as she put it, a nice lady friend. He would have laughed about her question if she wouldn't have thought it rude. Hayden was happy with the way he was.
"I'll be straight and to the point. Roland is alive," he said with his expression changing. "Last night was when I found out. Ted and I went to help Riley take care of a death eater, the one that supposedly killed Roland. Well, before any fighting took place, Roland came up. He ended up getting rid of the death eater and now he's at St. Mungo's but he's fine."

Lina held Cyrus' hand with her free hand while she balanced Mara on her hip. She was just as confused, and she wasn't quite sure she believed it. Roland had been gone for too long already, and then he just... appeared?
"Let's go see him," she said gently, almost encouragingly, to Cyrus. "I'm sure Mara will be fine, but if she starts to fuss, I'll just take her outside. It's fine." If Roland really was alive, Lina wanted to see him badly too, to know that she wasn't the cause for his death, that he was doing all right.
She stood up. "Can you apparate all three of us?"

"I think she'll be fine," he said. Luckily, he hadn't been to late to sweep Lina back into his life. Goodness only knew the position he would have been in. Fate was a funny thing.
Her standing up, cause Cyrus to start using his fingers to comb through his hair and stand up along with her. "I believe I can apparate all of us. Let me grab our cloaks."
He walked over to the small closest in the living room and pulled out their cloaks, even Mara's little one. Cyrus didn't want any of them to be cold. He took Mara from Lina after he put on his own cloak and put her's on her shoulders. Once they were set, he looked to Lina, handing Mara back to her.
"Ready?"

"Oh," Suri said quietly. "As long as you're happy." She wasn't too upset about it. Hayden was a responsible young man, and she had faith that he would settle down in due time.
At the mention of Roland being alive, Suri dropped her coffee cup. It spilled along the carpet, causing a big black stain against the tasteful beige, but Suri didn't care at the moment. Her mind was reeling. Was her nephew really alive? At St. Mungo's? Suri didn't want to believe it, but somehow it made her feel a lot more alive. She managed to stand up and hug Hayden closely to herself. It was miracle.
She was looking at Judah with tears in her eyes, still clinging to Hayden. She wanted to know what his thoughts were, they must have been at least a little clearer than hers.

Lina nodded when both she and Mara were wrapped up in their cloaks. Mara looked so cute in hers, Lina mused quietly. She always seemed to like Roland, and she hoped that maybe seeing her would make Roland smile too.
"I'm ready," Lina said, pressing herself into Cyrus' arms. Her stomach was in knots, and she didn't know what to do, or even what to think. She imagined Cyrus was feeling much the same way. It was a confusing piece of news to be dropped in their laps, and she couldn't even explain why she was so nervous.
"I hope he's all right."

Judah nearly laughed at Suri's question but hid his smile as he took a sip from his coffee cup. He thanked his lucky stars everyday he was married to her. Suri was something else, that was for sure.
At the news, he nearly dropped his own coffee cup. He put it down on the table beside him, not even worrying about Suri's cup on the floor. "Roland, is at St. Mungo's?" He started to stand. Judah didn't understand. How could Roland be alive? From the reports, there was no way that he could have really made it out. Although, they did bury an empty coffin. Maybe he was just dreaming.
Although, seeing Hayden's face made him realize this wasn't a dream. It was reality, and his nephew was still alive. His thoughts drifted over to Mathieu and how he would have taken the news.

At least his parents didn't ask if he was serious. He had been pretty much asked that twice already. "Yes, he's at St. Mungo's. He's fine. Riley is there with him."
As his mother was hugging him, Hayden put his arms around her and hugged her back. The longer the hug lasted, the tighter her hold seemed to become. "Mum, you're starting to squeeze me," he told her softly but with a smile on his face.

He made sure that his arms were around Lina, as well as Mara. Cyrus pressed a kiss on both of their cheeks. "I'm sure he's alright because apparently, he's either Superman or Batman one." He made the comment just to make Lina smile. His stomach was tied in knots but he swallowed and hoped the feeling would disappear soon. "Here we go," Cyrus said before leaving their apartment with a POP and arriving at St. Mungo's. Cyrus led them into the hospital and asked where Roland's room was. One of the nurses pointed them in the right direction. He held onto Lina's hand, holding it a little tighter as they walked down the hall.

Mara was being held in Mama's arms, and led by the Man in a place she had never been before. For a long time, the house hadn't been... Mara didn't know the word. It seemed closed off, and everyone wasn't as focused. All she had known, was that the Man was back in her life, which was very good. She loved the Man, and Mama seemed to be a bit happier as well. But the Dark Man had gone.
She hadn't seen the Dark Man in a very long time. And since his disappearance, Mara hadn't wanted to talk as much as she had wanted to. The only thing she had done was fuss if she was upset, or cry if it became too much. But Mara had cut off any other means of communication off. It didn't seem right.
Mara had learned new words. Mare- idge was something that meant the Man and Mama lived together without yelling. She had had her doubts before, but now Mara seemed to like the idea more and more as the days progressed. She was content to sit and watch them at times when they put food in their mouths to eat. They would talk, and Mara started to recognize other words. "Mother" was one. "Roland" was another one she heard, but it made them sad. Mara liked the sound they made when they were happy the most. It was just a repetitive sound, and it could be loud or soft. But it couldn't be done without a smile. Mara hadn't tried it for a long time, but she was certain she'd made the noise before. "hhh-AAA".
The halls were slightly cold, and Mara snuggled into Mama a bit more. She was getting bigger, Mara was a lot older now.

Closing the distance between him, Suri, and Hayden, Judah put a hand on Suri's shoulder. He smiled at Hayden. "At least he is well." Judah wasn't sure how to react. He didn't know if he should be mad at Roland, or if he should be shocked. It was just a huge mixture of emotion but it never failed that Suri and Hayden made him smile.
"How is Mathieu taking it?"
