"He's well, whenever I told him last night he was well shocked. I guess shocked would be the right word. He was still sort of out of it but I suppose he has gotten a little better since he saw Roland. I'm just guessing about that part. You should go visit Uncle Mathieu sometime."
After his father nodded, he turned to his mother. His arms were still around her and he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "I have to run because I still have to go to the school." He took in a deep breath. "I promise to come by one evening soon for dinner because I can't stay long today."
Hayden smiled to his mother. "I'll see you two soon."

Suri didn't want to let go of her eldest son, but she managed to gain control of her arms. She untangled them and placed them around herself, very glad that Judah had his hand on her should supportively. It was keeping her from falling over at the moment. Judah seemed to be concentrating on Mathieu, and how he was fairing. Suri had to go bring something over to Cara later. Her poor sister- in- law. Being dragged around emotionally must have had its wear.
"Alright, sweetie. Please keep us informed," Suri sniffled slightly. "Be safe." Suri was almost crying. Everything would be ohkay in the Ferrera family.

Once he bid his parents bye, Hayden left the house and apparated just outside the Hogwarts grounds. Taking the fairly good walk, Hayden made his way up to the castle. The last time he was here was to bring the children home for the news completely opposite of what he was about to tell them.
Reaching the castle, he walked up toward the Ravenclaw tower, passing students by. He didn't even think to send an owl to his brother and sister to tell them to meet him right outside the common room.
Hayden waited patiently for a Ravenclaw student to pass by. As soon as one did, he told him to tell Liam, Sheena, Jamie, or Ama (which ever the student ran into first), that he was out there and needed to talk to them.

Sheena heard from Ama who heard from thier friend Gage that Hayden was outside the common room. In the first instant of hearing this, Sheena grinned happily, excited to see her brother. But almost instantly, the smile slipped away. The last time Hayden had showed up unanounced, it was because Roland had died.
Knowing this realization had struck Amandine as well, Sheena took her cousin's hand and led her out into the hall. "Hayden!" Shenna smiled running over and hugging her brother.

He stood outside of the Ravenclaw entrance sort of awkwardly for a moment. His hands were in his pockets, that was until the portrait swung open. Seeing Sheena and Ama, a smile spread across his face.
"Sheena!" Hayden held his arms out, accepting her hug. "I trust everything is well?" He looked to his cousin and smiled. "Hey Ama." He moved over to her and hugged her too. This visit, Hayden's face was much brighter than before.
"Have you two seen Liam or Jamie?"

The look on Hayden's face, much lighter then his last Hogwarts visit, put Ama at a bit of ease. She hugged her cousin closely and smiled. "We're alright," Ama replied. After her break down with Dillon, Ama and Sheena had spent a lot of time together. Jamie on the other hand, Ama had hardly seen since thier fight.
"I haven't, sorry," Ama said.

Liam heard from a few people that Hayden was outside. It seemed like everyone remembered the bad news he delivered last time, and they were all quick to tell the Ferrera kids that he was there again.
Pulling his robes on over his casual clothes, he rushed out of the common room, nearly running into Sheena and Ama. It was unlike him, but he was just so terrified to hear more bad news and watch his family suffer.
"I'm here, sorry. What's going on?"

"Easy Liam," he said seeing his brother rushing. "It's alright, promise. I'm just waiting for Jamie to get here, then I have something to tell you." Hayden paused for a moment. "And just so you don't worry, it's nothing bad promise." He let his smile stay on his face.
"So, how has it been for you three? Staying out of trouble I hope." He looked to all of them teasingly. It was something for Hayden to act happy around people, but it was something else for him to be happy in front of his siblings and cousins. Being around them helped remind him that he wasn't much older than they were even though he felt as if he were most of the time.

Liam stood up a little straighter when Hayden assured him that everything was all right. He hated surprises and he hated anticipation. It wasn't even because he was impatient... just the opposite. he was one of the most patient people on the planet. He just hated not knowing.
He silently assessed Hayden, first deciding that he was okay, and then he watched his brother's face. He'd grown up following his brother's lead, so he felt like he knew Hayden well.
"It has to do with Roland," he said, completely ignoring his brothers idle question. Why else would Hayden want all of them together? "Roland or Cyrus. Did they find his body?"

Looking to his brother, Hayden raised his eyebrows. Liam probably knew him better than anyone. Leave it to him to read him like a book. "Well, see I can't really spread all the news to just you three. Jamie has to be here too for the full story to come out." Hayden really bypassed Liam's question about finding the body. He wouldn't be acting like this if they had just found Roland's body, well in a way he would because Roland's body was alive.
"Did you three know that Cyrus finally asked Lina to marry him?" Sure, Cyrus hadn't told him this directly but they were still together, Lina hadn't kicked him out, and she was wearing a ring. It wasn't that hard to figure out. He wasn't sure if the other ones found out about it or not since Cyrus never mentioned it when they were all together. Hayden thought that Cyrus just thought that it wasn't the right time to announce it.

Jamie had been in a sort of daze since he and Scarlette had talked. He hadn't paid attention in class and had avoided any of his relatives. Jamie's full concentration was on Scarlette alone. It was only by chance that he had heard his cousin Hayden was by the Ravenclaw common room. People in the halls spoke too loudly for their own good, Jamie had thought begrudingly as he had to say goodbye to Scarlette for a while.
Jamie didn't want to hear the bad news that Hayden would surely bestow upon him. He walked slowly, taking his time and stopping to look at a painting once or twice. When Jamie saw the collection of his relatives speaking, he paused before walking briskly to the meeting. He didn't say anything, and avoided eye contact with Amandine and Sheena.

Ama was anxious to hear what Hayden had to say, but he kept sidetracking. She tensed slightly when Liam spoke up about Roland's body. That would be good news, in its on perspective, but it wasn't happy news, and Ama could tell that hayden was happy. She wondered for a moment if maybe he had a new girlfriend, but then realized that it would have to be even more important than that for him to show up at Hogwarts as opposed to just an owl.
Then Jamie showed up. She could almost feel the coldness comming from him toward her. He really shouldn't be angry, all she wanted to do was help him. But they hadn't talked since and it looked as if they weren't now. She switched places with Sheena quickly, so as to be as far from Jamie as she could, and looked at Hayden. "Okay, he's here, whats going on?"

Stalling was not something Hayden was really good at but luckily he didn't have to do it for long. Jamie joined them and he sent a smile of greeting in his direction. "Hey Jamie."
Hayden cleared his throat and began the good news for the fourth time but this time, it was a little more edited. "I know that the first time I was here, there was pretty bad news; however, this time it is the complete opposite." His eyes drifted over to Liam because he had guessed it right. "This is about Roland but not probably in the sense you are thinking." Hayden cleared his throat, thinking of a good way to approach the news because he didn't want to tell them anything about Blake or what really happened last night. "Roland is alive and well."

Ama stared at Hayden blankly. At first, she thought it was somesort of a joke, but Hayden wasn't that cruel. Subconsciously, she reached up and fiddled with the butterfly necklace Roland had given her when he first got back from his previous mission. Roland alive? This wasn't possible. Sure, Ama had always had that little bit of hope...especially since it was an empty coffin that they burried...but could he really be, Alive?
"What?" Ama said quietly, almost in awe of what Hayden had said.

He looked over to Ama. Hayden gave her a smile before nodding. "Yes, Roland is alive. He's in St. Mungo's but it's just so he can be checked over. He's fine, honestly." He knew that it was going to be a shock to the four of them, it was still partially still a shock to him; however, the more times he told the news, the more it wore off.
"I've already told all of our parents. Cara and Mathieu went to go visit him already. I'm sure that Cyrus and Lina are there now. My parents are more than likely going over there in a bit too. I thought that I would come by here and give you four the good news and time for it to sink in."

If her eyebrows could raise any higher, they did. Roland was alive? Roland was alive! Why were they all just standing here? He was in St. Mungo's, he was safe, and he was alive! "Well, can we see him?" she asked, but she was already heading down the hall, reaching for Hayden's arm to lead the way. "Come on let's go."

Once Ama grabbed his arm, he fought the smile that was tugging at the corner of his lips. "Slow down a second Ama," he said before looking to the others. "Come on you three, we should all go together. Don't rush at him all at once whenever we get there."
Hayden looked to Liam and Jamie. "Have either of you passed you apparation test yet? I won't be able to take more than two and it would be a lot easier if either or both of you have passed it, that is if you want to go see him."

Liam had taken the news quietly, barely responding, and he glanced at Sheena to make sure she was taking it all right. Sheena and Ama were the most important to him right now. And they both seemed fine.
He gave his brother a look. "I passed it... just recently, though. I don't know how to take anyone with me." He glanced at Jamie, and then at the girls. "You could take Sheena and Ama. Jamie and I can go by ourselves." He just assumed his cousin passed his test.

Roland was alive, and suddenly, things seemed to be brighted for Sheena. She knew that this meant that, eventualy, all would be well with Ama and Jamie and the rest of their family. Roland was like the glue that held everyone together. Sheena reached over and grabbed Liam's arm, smiling at him. She had a feeling, that even with just the news that Roland was alive, everything was going to be okay.

Jamie stood quietly, disbelieving. His brother Roland, alive? After two months of putting their family through this hellhole and back? Jamie was shaking his head, arms still crossed. He managed to tear his eyes from the ground and look up at his family before them. Hayden didn't look as weary, or not the sad weary that he had been at the funeral. He looked a lot happier. There wasn't a reason for Hayden to try and trick them.
"Yes," Jamie nodded, thankful that Liam had led him to say as little words as possible. "I'll go with Liam."
Jamie wanted to leave right then, having felt like he had waited for his brother to return for too long. He wanted to yell at Roland and tell him how much pain he had caused, but Jamie couldn't do that. Relief was spreading through out him, and he really felt like going to St. Mungo's as soon as possible.
