Angelique felt for him. It was a horrible feeling, to be completely under another person's control. And to be told to do something so completely against one's own nature... it had to be so much worse.
She really had enough to get started now. She could page the receptionist for questioning, and could maybe get a sketch done based on any possible information from her.
"OK, Geoffrey. I think that's all I need right now. Tomorrow, if you're feeling strong enough, I'll send the sketch wizard. And if you think of anything else useful, please let me know, OK?"

Hayden didn't know what to say as he stood in the room but then again he didn't really talk that much anyhow. Seeing Ted and Andi happy made a small smile appear on his face but he kept his congratulations until later. "Riley, you're safe here," he finally spoke up. Even as he spoke, he knew that Riley would probably try to convince otherwise. "You have both Ted and I here, so is Andromeda. I swear to you that you are safe." His words were soft. What else was he supposed to do? He couldn't force her to drink it. "Just drink the potion and relax. Whenever you wake up, we'll go from there. We're not going to leave here until you do." Hearing her next words Hayden frowned. "You're going to get really weak if you don't rest. Here is a good enough place as any." Riley shook her head. Geoffrey promised her she'd be safe too, and that didn't work out so well, did it? She took a deep breath. More than anything right now, she just wanted to scream, and then she wanted to cry. But she couldn't do that with everyone here. She looked from Hayden to Andromeda, something burning in her eyes when she looked at the other girl. There was something she obviously wanted to say, but she was silent and turned her attention to Dr. Kenyon. It was the first time she acknowledged anyone else in the room besides Ted, though he still suspected she wasn't entirely with them. "Can I be alone?"

Lydia glanced at everyone else in the room, then back at Riley. She honestly wasn't sure she wanted the girl to be alone. She could understand maybe making everyone leave but one person, but, given the safety concerns, she wasn't sure Riley should be alone.
"Are you sure that's what you want?" she asked gently. "I'd really rather someone stayed with you, just to make sure you're safe."

Ted shook his head, not even giving Riley a chance to respond. "No, I'm not leaving, and neither is Hayden."
Even if he had been willing to leave her, which he certainly was not, Angelique had told the two of them to stay until they gave the all clear. "We're going to stay, and you know that you don't want to be alone as well as we do. And you're going to take the potion, Riley."
His voice was gentle, but he was firm, almost like he was speaking to a child. But someone had to get through to her.

The whole conversation had taken a lot out of him, and he wanted to shut everyone out. "I will. Um, if it's OK, I'd like to be alone now. My head hurts." He felt a little relieved that he had got the talk with Angelique over with, and he ws glad to have seen Arthur, but he still didn't feel better. How could he? "Please... if you see Riley, tell her I'm sorry. And that I love her." With those words, he turned away again and faced the wall.
