[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

Vanessa tilted her head. "You have a brother? What's his name and what year?" She asked curiously. "I have two brothers. They're too young to be here though."

[Axel Malfoy]

His name is Noah," Axel said, a shy smile crossing his face. "He's 16 and in sixth year." Axel added. He didn't really know what else to say about Noah. The brothers hardly got along and though it occured to him that Axel hardley knew his brother, he knew that deep, very very deep down, he loved his brother.

"What about you? Your brothers?" Axel asked.

She shrugged. "They're three years younger than me. They're twins and very hard-headed. They're names are Kyle and Mason. I love 'em they just...are a lot to take care of. " She said and chuckled. "It's kinda nice to get away from them for a while though, you know?"

[Axel Malfoy]

Axel nodded in understanding. "I understand, thats why I'm glad there's such a large age difference between Noah and I," Axel said. "But trust me, from a little brother's point of veiw, they miss you, terribly, you should write them," he grinned. he remembered making Noah write him every week in his brother's first year.

[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

She grinned. "Yeah, I probably should. Make sure they know it's a bad thing to burn the house down." She said with a chuckle. "They're really great though. I bet they can't wait to come to Hogwarts. They're going to love it here."

[Axel Malfoy]

"I remember dreaming of comming here when my brother left." Axel grinned. "That's all I'd talk about. Hogwarts this, Hogwarts that. All I wanted was to be just like Noah," Axel smiled with a bittersweet expression, knowing that his views of Noah has changed since then.

[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

Vanessa grinned. "I didn't really know too much about it but...I'd never been more excited and..nervous in my entire life." She sighed. "You know, to be honest. I'm surprised at how...comfortable I am around you. I usually...awkward around Slytherins. Especially Slytherin boys." She admitted, blushing slightly.

[Axel Malfoy]

Axel blushed. "Well to be honest, I'm shy around everyone," he chuckled awkwardly. "I don't really talk to anyone, just Noah and his friends and my cousins, but that's hardly ever." He grinned. "But I'm comfortable talking to you too."

[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

She smiled. "It's so strange. I normally would have ran away in fear when you came up the steps. But...I don't know. There's something different about you. I like it." She said shyly.

[Axel Malfoy]

"I did try and run, remember," Axel laughed. "I didn't want to interupt you." he remembered. He looked up and saw te moon had moved. They had been out for quite a while, and Axel was glad there was no class tomorrow, he'd probably sleep in after being up all night.

Vanessa chuckled. "Yeah, I think that's what gave me a little courage. The Slytherin boy was afraid of little ol' me." She joked. "I guess neither of us are too fitting for our house. I'm not exactly full of courage."

[Axel Malfoy]

"I should be in Hufflepuff," Axel thought aloud. "But I'm pretty sure my dad would kill me if i was. And if he didn't Noah surely would." Axel sighed. "I'm not exactly cunning either, thats what's supposed to define a Slytherin right? Being cunning?" Axel chuckled. "I don't even know what that means!"

[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

Vanessa laughed at him. He was kind of cute when he was teasing like that. "Yeah, and Gryffindors...they're all about bravey. And I'm probably the farthest thing from brave." She said and rolled her eyes. "Maybe the hat's losing his touch." She added as a joke.

[Axel Malfoy]

"Maybe it's got some ulterior motive that we won't ever understand," Axel suggested. He kinda liked the idea that there's some ultimate reason for everything. If it were so though, he wanted a word with whoever came up with having an ultimate reason for Blake Malfoy being his father.

"Hats can be deep like that," he joked.

[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

She laughed at his joke, finding it funnier than she probably usually would. She realized she must be more tired than she originally thought. "Oh yeah, I'm sure the hat has a plan for us to be in the absolute wrong houses." She said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

[Axel Malfoy]

Axel laughed as well. "Okay, I admit that sounded way better in my head that it did outloud," He said. "Why don't we just exchange out robes and become Hufflepuffs? You can't go wrong with a hufflepuff,,," Axel said. But he could tell he was tired, words weren't making snce anymore.

[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

Vanessa laughed loudly at that. "I like that idea. We should go steal robes from the laundry or something." She joked and chuckled. "Could you imagine what people would say? What your brother would say?"

[Axel Malfoy]

"He'd disown me as a sibling, a family member, and possibly a human being..." Axel said surely. For a moment he thought. "Maybe we should do it," He grinned and laughed again. Then again, his father would get word of it somehow, and Axel THEN, would be screwed.

[Vanessa Reyes Vonderheide]

She grinned. "That would definetly be interesting." She said and laughed. She tilted her head as she looked at him. "You and I are definetly an odd couple." Her face dropped and she blushed immediately. "I..I didn't mean...couple. I mean, not that I don't like you, or...I'm.....uh...sorry." She stammered and got up to turn away, embaressed.

[Axel Malfoy]

Axel did blush when she said couple, but he had understood what she meant. He had read in a book, sme muggle phrase..."two peas in a pod" or something like that.

When she got up, so did Axel, but his face was still laughing from earlier. He gently grabbed her arm and smiled. "No, I understood completely." He said.
