Full Moon Rising

[Kris Lupin]

"I'm not worried about me hurting anyone, what if Greyback finds out that you're friends with Sirius and I'm dating him and uses him to get to either of us? That's what I'm worried about." Kris said quietly.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus frowned. He hadn't thought of that. "Then we'll have to warn Sirius and the others about him, that's all," he said. But deep inside, he felt a hint of doubt beginning to grow. He didn't say anything else for awhile.

[Kris Lupin]

"I don't want to lose Sirius or you, so I will do whatever it takes to keep him and you safe." Kris told him.

[Remus Lupin]

"Me, too," Remus answered in a low voice. He stared at the ground as he walked, worrying silently to himself. Did Greyback really want him and Kris badly enough that he would go after their friends? Would Zander's pack be able to protect them?

[Kris Lupin]

"Now do you see why I don't want to go back? I mean look what he did to me for not getting you. It makes me wonder what he'd do if he didn't get us." Kris hugged herslf wishing Sirius was with her.

[Remus Lupin]

"Yeah..." Remus said quietly. He was deep in thought. There had to be a way for them to be safe from Greyback, but he didn't know what it was. He really wished that guy would just go away...

[Dean Hallowell]

Dean watched as the two kids talked in low voices. He wondered what it was they were worried about. Then he glanced over at Pearl. Zander's girl sure was a hot one, that was for sure. He hoped the other girls in the pack were as hot as she was. He grinned to himself. He was already starting to like being a werewolf...

[Athena "V" Smith-Calloway]

Athena walked through the woods, searching frantically for Coda. She had already checked the cave where the wolf family had lived and found it abandoned. Now she was just wandering through the woods on the other side of Hogsmeade, closer to the camp. "Coda!" she called. "Coda! Where are you?"

[Zander Smith]

Zander was deep in thought as he walked. He knew he shouldn't feel guilty for what had been out of his control, but what if the worst had happened? What if, instead of turning Dean, he had killed him? He wasn't sure he could live with that kind of guilt. Sure, he hadn't killed Dean, and after the initial shock had worn off, Dean seemed to be OK with what had happened. Still, he couldn't help but wish that the whole thing had never happened. He was so deep in thought that he barely noticed the voice calling out ahead of him.

[Pearl Nacreous]

Pearl's ears picked up a voice, she stopped Zander and said "Ahead, that voice..." she trailed off calling to halt their progression.

[Zander Smith]

Zander stopped walking. "What?" he said, somewhat dazed. He listened and heard the voice calling. "Wait... that's my sister," he said. "What in the world is she doing here?"

[Pearl Nacreous]

Pearl shrugged, "she's calling a name, do you want me to hold the pups back while you investigate?" she asked pulling the youngest pups to her side, which was Kris and Dean.

[Zander Smith]

"Yeah, OK, I'd better go see if she's OK." He kissed her temple, then headed in the direction of Athena's voice.

[Athena "V" Smith-Calloway]

"Coda!" Athena called again. She slumped down, feeling defeated. She wondered if she had said something that had made Coda decide to run away. She was already worried about Alastor, who was ill, and now she was afraid that she had lost Coda. A girl that young just couldn't live alone in the woods. It wasn't safe.

Suddenly she heard footsteps ahead of her, and she looked up hopefully. "Coda? is that you?"

[Pearl Nacreous]

Pearl smiled at his gesture and motioned to the others to crouch down on the forest floor. Pearl's smile hadn't faded any when she turned to Remus and Kris and said " You shouldn't worry, if for a moment I thought you'd be in danger in your lives, I would remove you. We are a strong pack, you should know that Remus, don't doubt it." she said to him as her eyes were still trained on where Zander went.

[Zander Smith]

Zander emerged from the trees to see Athena standing there, looking upset. "No, I'm afraid it's just me," he said with a smile. He immediately went to put his arms around his sister. "What's going on? What are you doing out here? Is everything OK?"

[Athena "V" Smith-Calloway]

Athena hugged him happily. "Zander! It's so good to see you!" she gasped. When he asked her what was wrong, she sighed heavily. "We've had a little girl staying with us. Her name's Coda and she's a werewolf. She was living along with a pack of wild wolves in the forest when Alastor found her, and now he wants to adopt her. Only... she's run away. I was trying to find her... but I have no idea where she went."

[Zander Smith]

"Hmmm," Zander said, frowning. "Well, I don't think she's here. It's just me and Pearl and a couple of p... uh, kids. Remus and Kris, and this new one, Dean. Can you tell me what she looks like?"

[Athena "V" Smith-Calloway]

"Well, she's about... this tall--" she held up her hand-- "and she has blond hair and big blue eyes... She's the sweetest thing. Can you please keep an eye out for her?"

[Zander Smith]

Zander nodded. "Yeah, definitely, I will. Maybe later, I could send Skye and Karl out into the woods closer to Hogwarts and see if they can find her. They're really good trackers. But I really don't think she's here... I haven't picked up any other scents."
