"Anegada," replied Christopher. "We should get there within a day after we rest up. I had to come here to pick up Christine's dresses that she has been wanting. We'd spend another day in Anegada, and then leave from there and take the twenty five day voyage back home. I suppose we could have done things the muggle way and just shipped stuff by air, but I like sailing."
He smiled. Christopher wasn't going to ask her why, because it honestly wasn't really any of his business. Of course, Christopher did a little bit more than just deliver cargo to certain places in the area. A few people knew who he was, because of his 'pirating' days, but he did what he could to put all that behind him. That was whenever he was younger, but now, he was just attempting to live a decent life sailing.

She smiled warmly, she knew he liked sailing, knew it because she too enjoyed it, although she was afraid of the sea at the same time. Like the rest of her family she had been born with sea legs and had loved sailing ever since she was a child, but that accident that took away her parents and her brother left her completely devastated.
Christopher on the other hand had many brothers all of whom were expertise in their own area of talent. It wasn't as if any of the Montgomeries actually had to work for a living but she couldn't think of a Montgomery doing anything idle, not if Christine and Chris were to be believed and the tales they told, not to mention the scuffles the two of them had gotten into themselves. Indeed the Montgomery lot were a wild bunch, but her Christopher she thought was rather perfect. She wondered then when she had begun referring to Christopher as *her* Christopher but so long as no one knew what could it hurt?
"That does sound rather exciting." she told him in her own way trying to offer hope that she indeed would be joining him.

Christopher's face brightened a little more. "Yes, it is pretty exciting. I like sailing because you never know what to expect from day to day, or minute to minute. The weather always keeps you on your toes, as does whatever happens on ship. Excitement of adventure is what I love the most, and quite honestly, everything is an adventure." He smiled.
His most recent adventure was trying to find out what he could about Andrea and maybe bringing her back to England with him. The way back to England would give them a good chance to get to know each other better.

She nodded adventure coursed through her veins as well and she well knew it. Though she might have considered herself a bit timid at times the truth was she was about as bold as could be, her timidity only coming out when she thought too much about a certain thing, which was why she wasn't allowing herself much time to think about this affair of hers, he was going to take what she could get and be happy for it all.
Leaning on her elbows she took another bite of food then gave him an almost mischievous smile, "I must say I'm fond of adventure myself."

A laugh escaped Christopher just as he cut into his pancakes for another bite. "That's good to hear. Not too many girls would say they were up for some kind of unknown adventure. Although, even if they don't say it, they are always up for it, considering that is everyday." He gave her a wink and started on his pancakes again.
He liked a girl that was up for an adventure and wasn't scared to admit to it. It was almost as if what he had told Andrew he was looking for, just appeared directly in front of him like it was some kind of dream. "Adventure is what keeps me going, for now at least."

She nodded and didn't have much to say for the rest of the meal but she enjoyed his company and kept up with her side of the conversation as it was needed.
"Well once again Mr. Montgomery I've enjoyed a meal in your presence, thank you." she said graciously. She felt contentedly stuffed with the sugary pancakes he had suggested.

The rest of the meal was pleasant and filled with small talk. He liked to hear Andrea talk about anything about herself.
"No, no. I should be the one thanking you Ms. Fairchild," he said before taking a drink of orange juice. "This is probably one the more pleasant meals I've had." He smiled and waved the waiter over for their check. Christopher quickly paid for it and then rose from his chair, going over to Andrea, standing beside her. "Are you ready for the trip around town?"

Instinctively Andrea knew better than to offer to pay although she felt a little sheepish about it. She didn't want to appear like one of those females who were only after what he could buy them. She bit her inner lip but tried not to dwell too much upon it and gave him a brilliant smile. "Yes sir I am."

After he offered her his arm, Christopher led Andrea out of the resturant and into the town. "We're lucky today, seeing as how the sun is out," he commented lightly. He knew that talking about the weather wasn't the best thing, but it was safe to at least make a comment about it. He looked to Andrea and liked the way the sunlight played off her smooth looking face.
"Tell me Andrea. What is something that you have always wanted to do?"

"Fly" she answered automatically then laughed at herself. Letting her eyes meet him she gave a sheepish grin as she explained, " I never owned a broom.." she shrugged, she had been too young to fly when she left home and though it was something she had always wanted to do there was never the time, never the instruction.

"You've never owned a broom," Christopher repeated. "Well, I suppose that we can change that." He gave her a smile. "It's never too late to learn how to ride one." Giving her a wink he looked toward the broomshop. "We'll stop at the shops on our way back through town, and I will not take any kind of protests as an answer."
Even though he knew that Andrea would more than likely was going to protest anyway, Christopher would still get her a broom. There wasn't anything wrong with it. Sure, there would be the possiblity that they might not have some kind of relationship, which Christopher hoped that those chances were extremely slim to none, but she would have at least had fun.

She didn't pick up on the notion that he was actually going to buy her a broom but she was all for stopping by the shops and testing out the brooms in fact she thought it would be fun, she would protest later when he intended to buy something for her.
For now she smiled widely at him and nodded taking his arm and letting him lead her to where he would.

Andrea's wide smile made Christopher chuckle. He led her down the street. "So where exactly do you want to go first? Or shall we just see where our feet take us?" He didn't care where they went. If she wanted, she could drag him into every shop and have him carry her bags if she wanted. Christine did that from time to time, and Christopher enjoyed watching her be happy.

"You're quite appeasing aren't you?" she asked with a naked smile on her face, unlike the girls that she had seen with Christopher she wasn't afraid to let the world know what she was thinking, or when she was happy. There were no stingily hid smiles, and it was a shame Christopher deserved to have happy surroundings, he worked so hard on the ship she didn't want to be another burden for him, but also he made her laugh, he made her smile.

He let out a laugh. Christopher really did like her. There was something completely different about her that he couldn't quite put his finger on. "Well, I have to attempt to be." He gave her a wink. "I can't just drag you everywhere, besides, I'm not that picky of a man. I also think that a lady should chose, after all I can put up with anything you throw at me." He smiled and continued to walk down the street with her.

That was an amusing statement. Although no he wasn't really picky when it came to women, he treated them all with deference and like the princesses he should have treated them like, even if he shouldn't have treated them like a princess he did, and women loved him for it, but she had to wonder if that appeasing facade was a mask for something else, if it built resentment inside of him. She knew a closer version of the truth than the other women, she knew that he certainly did have a mind of his own, and he ruled over his crew with absolute authority even if many of the men would do whatever he asked anyway.
She nodded, " I think that sounds like a challenge." she said smiling a bit.

It was true, Christopher did treat women sort of like princesses, but Andrea was different. He felt that he needed to do everything he could to get to know her, and her him. Christopher wasn't a bad man. Sometimes he was unsure of what he wanted, but right now, he did know what he want, thanks to his niece and Andrea. If Andrea hadn't been there, he wasn't sure if he would have actually considered settling down. Sure, he had mentioned to it to Andrew, but Christopher had seen things differently. Ever since Christine left, he started to take notice in what everyone else was doing and how they acted. He wanted to be happy, and right now he was.
"A challenge is always nice, and I'm looking forward to see what you can throw at me."

She laughed and shook her head no, " I don't foresee me being a challenge unless it's necessary." she told him. She wouldn't want to make it hard for him to make her happy, she was happy just being with him, and talking with him the way she was right now, she didn't want that to change, she wanted to make him happy with her. That sort of happiness didn't come from trinkets or baubles or new brooms, it came from simply enjoying one another.

"Well, there's nothing wrong with a challenge, however, if you're happy, I'm happy." Christopher gave her one of his rare wide smiles. Right now, he was happy, and the only thing that mattered to him was keeping Andrea happy. He would do whatever he could, even if that included doing cartwheels down the street.
"You know, this is probably the best time that I've had in port in awhile. Everything is calm, and relaxed."

She laughed lightly, not telling him that this was probably the best time she had probably had in her whole life. "I'm happy I could entertain you then." she said her smile deepening. She knew Chris tried to please, and that's why she wanted to be the one to please him.
They walked for a bit down the streets looking at different things in different shops, her eyes fell on a few things that she might have liked but she didn't buy anything and she wasn't going to accept him buying her anything either.
