"I'm not sure," said Korbel. "I don't really want to leave Gretchen's pack. I've been with her for so long, and they're my only family, but I guess I'll have to see how things go. If things start turning bad, then I suppose I'll leave."

"Of course," said Korbel. "You're the only person I can come to if I leave. I don't have anywhere else to go." He gave her a smile and gently kissed the top of her head. "Don't worry, I wouldn't just up and leave without coming to you first. I couldn't do that to you."

Korbel laughed. "I'm going to have to get used to the being wanted deal," said Korbel. "I don't think it's going to take me that long though. You're not going to be alone that much anymore."

Ashura smiled then removed her arms from around him. "I just wish your pack leader wasn't after my brother." She said quiety as she put her head back on his shoulder.

Ashura didn't know if she would do the same or not but she still wished that she wasn't after him. "Yeah, but..." She fell silent not knowing what to say.

Korbel kept his arm around Ashura's shoulders. "I know, he's your brother, you want him safe," said Korbel. "If something ever happened to you, which I hope it doesn't, I would go after whoever it was."

Korbel reached over and cupped her face in his hands and wiped the tears that started to form. Sure, he never cared to much for the hunter, no specific reason, except that he had killed Buck, who he had sort of looked up to. Now, Korbel couldn't really have any distaste for the hunter, because someone who he view as a sister, loved him, and he really cared for the hunter's sister. "I hope there is a way to make Gretchen go easy on him."

Ashura nodded then looked toward the cave entrance as the rain had let up. "I suppose you have to go now." She said quietly not looking at him. She didn't really want him to leave but if he had to she wasn't going to stop him.

Korbel shook his head. "No, I don't have to go," said Korbel. "If they wonder where I am, I can just make something up, but I doubt that they will wonder where I am. It's normal for me to go off on my own and stay out if I wish. But if you want me to go, I will."
