"That's true," said Korbel. "But to be honest, I don't really care what they think. I've had to be that way for awhile. Not many of them like me very much, because I get in a couple of fights, and I've gotten in a fight with a hunter before. That of course, scared them."

When she leaned her head on his shoulder, Korbel felt warm, and wondered if she felt the same, but didn't say anything. He smiled and moved his arm to be around her shoulders. "It's quite alright. I didn't mind it. You have your clumsiness and I have my problems, so as long as you can be alright with my problems, it'll be alright."

"Well, we're OK," said Korbel. "I mean, we're not your best bunch. We don't really hunt people, just animals to eat. Gretchen has been talking about joining with Greyback. I don't like the man to be honest. Greyback is with the Snake-Man. I don't like him either. The Snake-Man treats others like us like we're just children. He's against muggles and half-bloods. That's another reason I don't like him. One of my friends, Quinn, she was a muggle before she got bit, and if he's against her, I don't like him."

"I think she already has joined with him. Maybe not, I'm not sure. I don't want her too, but she's doing what she thinks is best I guess," said Korbel. "I'm not going to take orders from him though. I rather be an outcast than take his orders, because he treats his pack like children, and I'm not going to be treated that way," he said his anger raising. Since Ashura's head was still on his shoulder, he relaxed a bit. He sighed as he heard the rain falling. "I suppose I could stay here until the rain stops. I don't really want to get wet."
