Study Session (Rori)

[Leo Agathon]

It was almost embarrassing how excited Leo was about a little study session with Rori. But to him, at least, this was about much more than just studying. Well, actually, he would still be studying... just not schoolwork. He wanted to find out more about Rori, to really get to know her. The chat with Bella had made him realize that he didn't really know that much about Rori--what she liked, what she didn't like, what her hopes and dreams were. He wanted to find out about these things, and to share his own thoughts with her.

So he spent a little extra time on his clothes and hair, making sure he looked good when he went down to meet her in the library. He was so nervous that his hands were sweating, and he hastily wiped them on his robes before opening the library door.

[Rori Logan]

Rori was excited about the study session with Leo as well. She brushed through her hair and then she just let it go. If it was going to do its own thing, then she was going to let it, but for right now it looked alright.

She decided to get to the library early and make sure she had everything together. Carrying her books, Rori managed to get the door open and walked over to one of the empty tables. Inside, she was jumping around, but for right now she tried to maintain a calm appearance.

She placed her books on the table and then took a seat waiting for Leo to arrive. When he walked through the door she gave a small wave so that he would come on over and take a seat.

[Leo Agathon]

Leo's heart skipped a beat at the sight of her waving at him. It almost didn't seem possible that someone so pretty and interesting would like him at all. Even though Leo seemed to exude confidence, inside, he was as insecure and unsure of himself as the average teenager.

Breaking into a smile, he waved back and headed towards her quickly. "Hey," he said breathlessly, as he slipped into the chair next to her. "Sorry if I was late."

[Rori Logan]

A smile broke across her face as he waved. Rori was always giddy feeling around him, although she always tried to swallow the feeling away and not let to much of it show. "Hey." She made sure that he had enough of room to sit in the chair next to her.

"Oh no, you're not late," she said still smiling. "I just got here early is all. Just wanted to make sure that there was going to be an empty table."

[Leo Agathon]

Leo smiled and slipped his hand into hers. "You look really pretty today," he said. He took a quick glance around to make sure the librarian wasn't watching, then he leaned in and kissed her cheek.

"So, what subject do you want to start with?" he asked, indicating his pile of books in front of him.

[Rori Logan]

She wanted to giggle whenever he glanced around, but she held it in, knowing that it would cause attention in their direction. Rori blushed as usual whenever he kissed her cheek. She squeezed his hand gently in response and then looked at the pile of books in front of him.

"Um, we could start with transfiguration if you want or whatever book is on top."

[Leo Agathon]

Leo was actually not at all interested in studying. Well, not school work, anyway. His real goal in this was to find out stuff about her, to get to know her better, and to let him get to know her. He didn't want to study Transfiguration, he wanted to study her.

"Well..." Leo said hesitantly. "Why don't we start with your favorite subject? What's your favorite class?"

[Rori Logan]

Looking at him curiously as he seemed to be hesitant, Rori thought for a moment. "I think that my favorite subject is probably Charms, but my favorite class is probably Dueling, and that is not just because Voltaire teaches it. I like the content of it." She gave a light smile. Dueling was always interesting and she truly enjoyed classes that kept her interest and didn't have her doodling something on the side of her paper.

[Leo Agathon]

"Charms, huh?" he said with a smile. "I wouldn't have guessed that charms was your favorite subject. I guess we can start with Charms, then," he said, taking out the charms book.

He set it in front of him, but didn't open it. "You know, a lot of people think your cousin... er, adopted father.... well, they think he's a nutter. But aside from that first lesson, which was kind of weird... I think he's pretty cool. Our other lessons have been pretty good, don't you think?"

[Rori Logan]

"Oh really," Rori asked interested. "And what subject did you think would be my favorite?" There was a teasing in her voice.

"Yeah, I know that. Although, people are going to think whatever they want to think. Voltaire is just Voltaire, there's not another way to define him." She gave a light laugh. "And yes, I do agree that the rest of our lessons have been pretty good." The thought of actually studying slipped her mind. Right now, she was happy with just talking. "What about you Mr. Agathon? What is your favorite class and subject?"

[Leo Agathon]

"Hmmm," Leo said thoughtfully. "I kinda thought maybe Defense. You're good in there, and it's connected to Dueling."

He thought for a minute. He actually liked a lot of his subjects and classes. "Well, Arithmancy is a good class. I like the way Professor Renneau teaches. Next year, you should think about taking it. Um... and Defense and Dueling are good..."

[Rori Logan]

"I do happen to like Defense," she said. "And its on my favorites list, but Charms is just at the top for the moment. It might switch as lessons go on, who knows." Rori smiled.

She listened to him, interested. "Arithmancy? I might take it. It sounds like it could be interesting. " Rori grew quite for a moment. "What do you want to be when you leave school?"

[Leo Agathon]

"Oooh, going for the heavy questions now, are you?" he teased. "Well, I was actually kind of thinking about being a Healer, actually. Although someone suggested that I consider being an Auror. I'm good enough in Defense, and my potions are decent... I think I can pull it off. I don't know, though. I haven't decided."

He leaned in and tapped her nose with his finger, a playful smile on his face. "Which do you think is sexier? Healer or Auror?"

[Rori Logan]

Rori only smiled at his teasing. "I think you could pull either off. I haven't really decided what I want to do, but we still have a little while before we really need to decide." She gave a shrug.

When he tapped her nose, Rori laughed. "Well, I'll have to think about that one. Both do help, but Aurors do protect, yet a healer takes care of those hurt. That's a tough question Mr. Agathon. I think they both are pretty sexy actually." She smiled, with her cheeks pink. "Of course I'm sure that you will remain sexy with whatever you chose."

[Leo Agathon]

Leo felt the back of his neck grow warm. He was only 14, and hadn't really thought of himself as being sexy, but on the other hand, he thought Rori was pretty sexy for 13. He grinned. "Well, thank you," he said. "Would you still think I was sexy if I decided to go into the exciting field of magical garbage removal?"

He laughed at his own joke, then looked at her more seriously. "What about you, though? What do you think you want to do when you're finished school?"

[Rori Logan]

She laughed again. "Yes. I would still think so, because you'd still be Leo." A warm tingling remained in her cheeks, but she was used to that by now.

Rori thought for a moment. What did she want to do? "I sort of thought about maybe being an auror. If not that, then maybe something in the department of magical creatures. I don't really know other than that. I haven't fully decided."

[Leo Agathon]

Leo smiled. "You're thinking about being an auror, too?" he said. "Maybe we could both do it together. We could work together."

At fourteen, it seemed too soon to talk about being together forever; being married and having a family was such a long way away. Who knew if he and Rori would still be together, or would even know each other by that time? He hoped they would, but unexpected things could always happen.

[Rori Logan]

"That would be nice. There would be at least one person I knew there." She gave a smile. There was no telling how things would end up, but she hoped that it would turn out for the best.

Actual studying had slipped her mind. She was more interested in talking about other things. "What is your favorite color?"

[Leo Agathon]

Leo laughed, which earned them a loud "Shhhhhhhhh!" from the librarian.

He covered his mouth, trying to hold in the laughter, but without much success. "We're going to get in trouble!" he whispered. "But I don't care. Let's see... my favorite color... I guess it would be blue. But not just any blue. I like the blue color of the sky on a sunny day."

[Rori Logan]

At the mention of getting into trouble, Rori let out a giggle. She had never gotten into trouble before, not from the professors, or anyone for that matter, but at the moment, she didn't care either. "That is a pretty color. I like green, or blue/green." Rori gave a smile. "Um." She tried to think of another question to answer something that she didn't know about him.

"What is your favorite object? Like book or record?"
