"You always keep me busy and entertained, so don't worry about me being bored or looking for something else to do." Jacob gave her a wink. "My mind will be off of work because I will be far too busy trying to keep up with you and fight off boys that want to grab at you." He grinned. "So, I have a feeling that the night will be full of interesting things and I will make sure that you have the time of your life."

Rhianne smiled, but found it interesting that he made the same comment about boys that Sam had, just a few days ago.
"Good," she said. "I... uhm... I have a confession to make, Jake," she said, playing with her fingers and looking away from him for a moment.
"When I asked if you'd heard from Sam... well, I actually saw him a couple of days ago."

"What kind of confession Rhi?" Jacob raised both his eyebrows. When she looked away from him, a hundred different things ran through his mind. At the mention of seeing Sam, Jacob's face fell. It wasn't that he didn't love his brother, because he did, however the two just didn't get along. He had tried to be nice to his brother a few times, but it didn't seem to work well.
"A couple of days ago? What did he say?"

She knew that Jake wouldn't be angry with her for speaking with Sam, though had the conversation been the opposite, Sam probably would have been. She just felt like she was forever trying to play peacemaker.
Rhianne shrugged at his question. "I don't know. A lot of nothing. He's so hard to talk to anymore. Sometimes, I think he has these suicide missions in mind. He keeps promising he'll come back... I'm just so worried about him."
