Tyler couldn't help but to continue smiling at her apparent excitement. He didn't care what his friends were going to say when he did sit next to Ophelia. If he was going to be in a sea of Slyherins whenever he sat next to her, then he didn't care. People were people, and it shouldn't matter what house or family they were from.
"I think that Charms and Transfiguration are my best subjects. I'm alright when it comes to potions but I could always work harder in there and study more." Tyler liked the idea of studying with Ophelia. It would give him another excuse to see her outside of class.

Ophelia felt a thrill run through her at the thought of sitting next to Tyler in class, in front of her Slytherin friends. Well, really, she only had one friend in Slytherin, and that was Lani. The rest of them all kind of annoyed her. Lani wouldn't care if Tyler sat with them. The rest of the Slytherins might, but the thought of their reaction was exciting to her. They would probably be shocked, and Ophelia wanted to shock people.
"I like Charms, and I'm OK at Transfiguration. I don't take potions, though... I might splash something on myself. Yuck. But we could work on the other two classes together..."

He gave a light laugh at Ophelia's reaction to potions. "Ah, potions is not that bad. If you take it next term or something, I'd help you with it. Besides, I don't think that you would spill anything on you." Tyler smiled again. "I can attempt to help you with other classes if you need it. All you have to do is ask. But I don't mind studying the other two with you. It's all up to when you want to. I can work around whatever I may have, if anything."

Ophelia began twirling her hair around her finger playfully. "That would be lovely," she said. Studying with him sounded so nice. Much better than studying alone. He could tease her and compliment her and maybe even kiss her. "You know, we do have that test coming up in Transfiguration. Maybe we could get together tomorrow and study for it. We could meet here... or maybe in an empty classroom?"

Tyler didn't think that tomorrow would come fast enough, let alone tomorrow evening. He was excited about spending time with Ophelia, even if it was to study. He would be able to distract her from just school work the entire time. He knew that they would need breaks instead of studying just straight out.
"We could see just how many people are in here tomorrow and if it is a lot, then we can go to an empty classroom and study if you wish," said Tyler. "Say we meet here tomorrow after dinner, then decide where we go from there?"

Ophelia was already getting excited about the idea of studying with him. It was almost silly, since she never usually got excited about the idea of studying. But she liked spending time with him. And even though they were together right now, she was already thinking about the next time they could be together.
"That sounds perfect," Ophelia said happily. "I'll see you then. As my sister would say, "parting is such sweet sorrow.'" And with that, she leaned across the table and planted a firm kiss on his lips. Then she pulled back, scooped up her books and hurried from the library, giggling as she went.

He still had his smile on his face, and he swore that Ophelia made it permanently stay there while she was around. "Can't wait," Tyler said. He wasn't quite sure what she was doing when she leaned across the table. When she kissed him, Tyler was frozen. He watched as she left, stunned.
Tyler reached his hand up and brushed his bottom lip. A slow smile spread across his face. He was definitely going to have fun tomorrow. His cheeks were redder than a tomato, but he didn't care. Tyler picked up his books and traveled up the stairs to his dorm. Tonight he decided had begun the most interesting year at school.
