Veronica walked into the club, it was familiar and she hadn't been there in years. She wondered vaguely if it would still be the same and she wasn't surprised at all when she looked around. Not much had changed, of course except maybe the people that were there. She didn't recognize anyone directly and went to sit at the bar as her eyes grazed over the faces in the club. She had no real reason to be there other than wanting a drink and to just relax a bit after her long trip home. Her eyes fell on three very handsome men but she didn't linger on them too long as she ordered a drink from the bartender.

Having just arrived to Hogsmeade Dimitri had decided to scope out the local witch scene. You could always judge an area by the quality of it's women as far as Dimitri was concerned and this night he decided to try out the Spellbound Night Club, once upon a time he would of warn a muggle outfit to pick up women but since he learned the teachings of the Dark Lord he has forsaken anything involving muggles, so instead this night he wore his best dress robes. Entering the club a beautiful blonde female at a table with two other guys caught his eye right off, she also looked busy. Deciding to grab a table close enough for their words to reach his ears, he sat there in quiet contemplation listening to what he could of their conversation.
It seemed that one of the men was her relative and the other was a friend. Well now, a friend was not a boyfriend which meant Dimitri was now in play. Walking over to the bar, he summoned over the bartender, leaning in so he could whisper. "Bring that lady over there whatever she happens to be drinking." Pausing, he reached into the pocket of his robes and pulled out a good sized money pouch, placing it on the bar he opened it up revealing the galleons within. Pulling one out he placed it on the counter next to the pouch, removing his wand next he tapped it lightly against the galleon as it slowly transformed into a long stem, red rose.
"The money is for you, to cover her drinks and as payment for having the rose and the drink delivered to the lovely young witch over there." Watching the bartender scoop up the pouch with a bright smile he nodded, grabbed the rose and went off to make the drink. Dimitri sat so he could see the table where the blond witch sat in his peripheral and then waited for the fun to begin.

Nat was about to say something when both of her uncles fell silent, and she wondered what had them both so pensive, when one of the cocktail waitresses came up to their table and delivered her a second drink and the rose.
She looked up at the girl, and then at the two boys with her. "Who is this from?" She asked the girl, who in turn smiled and nodded over her shoulder towards Dimitri, and then she left.
Nat turned to get a look at the guy. He was sitting fairly close, though not close enough to make her worry. He was good looking, she would give him that. And he had balls, if he attempted to get her attention while she was with two other guys.
She smiled slightly, giving him a somewhat welcoming look before she turned back to Derek and Zach. "It looks like someone in here isn't threatened by you two."

Derek stared abruptly at the rose and then would have asked the girl the same question only Lia got there first. He too turned and looked and almost glared.
He had to admit that it took a pair to try and get to her while there were two others chatting her up and even if he could admire that he still didn't like the guy.
"How rude, can't he see that you're taken at the moment? " he mumbled knowing that Derek had in the past done the same and even more "rude" things.

"He obviously doesn't care," Nathalia pointed out, wondering what Derek would do to stop her if she just got up and went to join the man at his table. She decided against it only because guys tended to lose interest really quickly if a girl gave in too easily.
Instead, she took a sip of her drink, making sure that the stranger could see that she was, indeed, accepting the drink.

Dimitri saw the entire thing out of the corner of his eye, he even managed to see the deadly glare Derek had given him. Watching as Nathalia accepted his drink, he smiled to himself. Dimitri had started the game and now it was his turn once more. Deciding to go for the direct approach he stood up and slid over to the table, slipping in next to Nathalia. "I apologize if my boldness offended you.. My name is Dimitri Komorov..." Pausing for a moment he stared into her eyes, noticing for the first time how beautiful she really is. "In my country it is considered a compliment to be so bold. Plus I really thought such a beautiful woman should have a beautiful flower."

Derek was just to the point of growling at the stranger as he gripped the table. Lia would kill him if he interfered but it might just be worth it.
Siding up to the other side of her he eyed the man who had approached with an icy threat in his eyes as he took his measure, " Lia...love." he said tightly before kissing her forehead, "I'll leave but I want to see you later...without the tool hmm?" he whispered in her ear.

Nat nodded to Derek, though she wasn't making any promises that he would see her again tonight or not, and she waited a moment for him and Zachary to leav before she turned a smile on the stranger.
"I like bold," she told him, holding out her hand for him to either kiss or shake, and if she had to bet on which he'd do...
"My name's Nathalia. It's a pleasure."

Dimitri quickly grabbed her hand, raising it to his lips for a light kiss. "It is truly my pleasure to meet you Nathalia." As far as Dimitri was concerned she was the only person in the building right now, she seemed pretty brave for an English witch so he had to be careful and play his cards right with this one. If nothing else, this will be quite an interesting encounter. "Vy ochen' krasivy" The words slipped out almost without Dimitri's consent, Dimitri was foreign and that meant exotic, most women could not get enough of exotic things. "So tell me Nathalia, are most women around here as beautiful as you, or are you an exception.."

As Zach walked away with Derek, he gave Nathalia a wink. He wasn't as inclined to murder the Russian as Derek was, but he wanted to let her know that, should she need rescuing, they would be close by to do the honors.
To Derek, he said, "I wouldn't worry so much about Nathalia. Ursula raised her to be tough, and I think she's perfectly capable of taking care of herself." They both approached the bar, but kept their distance from Edmund, who was still chatting with the brunette. "What do you say, Derek? We can't let Edmund have a head start on us, can we? Maybe we should each find a girl to talk with." He glanced around and spotted a pretty brunette nearby. "I like the looks of that one..." he said with a nod.

Derek smiled at his friend and nodded at him. "You go on." he preferred to stare at the boy who was staring at his niece watching for any moves that his niece didn't want. Suffice to say he was hypocritical and a big bear when it came down to it he could be just like the "elders" when his nieces were about.

Becky hadn't been to the club in ages. Ever since she had broken up with Jude, she had avoided the club like the plague. In fact, she had been avoiding just about every place. Her life was becoming sad, just going from work to home and back again. Chloe had finally convinced her to go out, and try to have some fun. If only Chloe could have come with her, this might have been easier. Becky always felt safer when she was with Chloe, because no one ever looked at Becky when she was with Chloe. All eyes would be on Chloe. But of course, Chloe was with Karl now and didn't need to go out to clubs anymore. So Becky was forced to go it alone.
Once inside, Becky saw that most of the girls seemed to be staring towards the bar, while most of the guys looked rather annoyed and desperate. Some seemed to be staring towards the bar with angry death glares. Curious, Becky looked toward the bar and saw three of the most handsome guys she'd ever seen. One was talking to a girl, but the other two seemed to be talking to each other. It was on those two guys that she focused her attention. She felt almost magnetically drawn to them, especially the one on the right with the light brown hair. He gave off an air of danger, and she was drawn to it in spite of herself.

Zach nudged Derek's arm. "Come on, really... Nathalia is going to be fine. Besides, haven't you heard of multi-tasking? You can keep an eye on her while you talk with a girl... Just tell who ever you talk to that you're protecting your cousin. Not only will she understand, it'll probably earn you big points." He glanced around and saw a petite girl with auburn hair staring in Derek's direction. "How about that girl there? She's cute, don't you think?"

"I'm not in the moo-" he took a look at the girl and paused. His eyes roving over her frame easily as if it were his right. She looked awkward. That was the best way to put it. It wasn't that she was particularly attractive, although she could hold her own there were other girls prettier. No...it was the fact that she looked as if she'd rather be anywhere else. She looked lost and was now prey to the big bad men...like him...who would so easily take advantage of the situation.
"She looks like a lost puppy." he argued but still he found his eyes glued to her. There was interest but more it was just curiosity and curiosity could be a very good thing.

Zachary smiled. "Yes, not particularly a challenge, I suppose. Not for you, anyway. You play the hero to her and she'll be eating out of your hands."
For a split second, he felt himself faltering as he thought of Suzette and what she would think of him if she heard him speaking of another girl like that. But he shook his head as if trying to shake her from his mind. She wasn't here, and that part of his life was in the past. "Go on, talk to her. You always did like lost puppies."
He looked back toward the brunette to make sure no one else had gone over to her.

"She'll have to come to me." he said glancing back at the Russian, "I'm watching Nat." although he shoved his friend away so he could look more available.
His eyes were on her in obvious invitation.

Veronica sat and sipped her drink as it was delivered to her and continued to look around the room. Her eyes paused on two men, though one was checking out a redhead. She chuckled softly to herself. The other didn't seem overly interested in anyone but he was quite good looking.

Zachary shook his head. "Suit yourself, mate," he said. He glanced back at the brunette. It couldn't hurt to flirt with her just a bit, he told himself. He needed to get Susie out of his head somehow. "I'm going to talk to the brunette." Picking up his drink, he strolled casually over to the girl's table.
"This seat taken?" he asked lightly.

Becky watched as the dark-haired man moved away to sit with another girl, leaving the fair-haired god standing alone. Her breath caught in her throat and she bit down on her lower lip nervously. He was looking at her. She glanced behind her to make sure he wasn't looking at some other girl, but saw no one.
She gulped and walked slowly toward him, not breaking eye contact. A part of her was aware that she was probably insane for doing this, but she couldn't help herself. Those eyes were hard to resist.
When she was about 3 feet away from him, she smiled nervously. "Um... hi," she said.

Another girl stepped up before Becky had the chance to.
Derek sighed inwardly, there was nothing curiosity provoking about the female that approached him. She was here to have a good time, like the others, they were all looking for the same thing and now that his interest had been provoked by another he wasn't interested.
As politely as possible he took her hand which she had laid on his shoulder, and removed it, "Sorry I'm here with someone." he said loud enough that the other girl might hear.
Then dismissed the girl on his arm before looking straight at Becky and gesturing her over.
"Hello." he replied one word that seemed to carry a sentence, really it was just a feeling a timber in his voice that was ease provoking and uneasy at the same time.
